15/02/2026: We had dinner here trice, over our stay in alta badia and it never disappointed. Especially the bruschettas.

11/02/2026: Good food, friendly service, I ate there 3 times out of 6 days.

03/03/2026: Staff was exceptionally rude. After waiting for 5 minutes at the front they finally responded to us and instructed us to wait for 2 minutes as they were setting up a table for us. At least 10 to 15 minutes go by of us standing at the front and the table still had not been made. Not only did they seem extremely understaffed but they ended up giving another two guests a table before us (unsure if they had booked prior or not because they spoke a language I didn’t understand). There were many free tables available. They could have said no, we cannot give a table unless you book. But they told us to wait for two minutes, only for us to be standing for 15 as other people got tables. Gave me the impression business was running poorly, so they grabbed us and told us to wait as soon as we got there 🤷‍♀️ Very poor service, I don’t recommend unless you book prior. Very rude, clear communication could have mitigated this issue. Its a shame because the food smelt delicious but apparently its overpriced anyway 🤣

23/02/2026: My husband and I were blown away by the food and service at Sotriffer. From start to finish, everything was perfect. The service was warm and attentive, and the food was exceptional. You can tell so much care and intention goes into every single dish. The deconstructed apple strudel was incredible as well as the sheep’s milk ricotta- the flavors worked together so seamlessly. My husband and I left feeling so taken care of. They didn’t miss a single detail. When I will recommend everyone to dine at this restaurant.

08/02/2026: The spa is very inviting and the swimming pool offers a fantastic panoramic view. Simply brilliant!

14/01/2026: We had dinner here. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. The soup alone could have been a main course. My medium-rare roast beef with onions was cooked to perfection and very tender. The side dishes were also okay, but with the soup, it was a bit too much. All in all, a very good dinner that was worth the price. By the way, the prices aren't high. Highly recommended.

04/11/2025: The Talbauer Inn can be reached via hiking trail no. 23. The starting point is the Tiroler Kreuz (Tyrolean Cross). Alternatively, you can walk up the forest road. Both routes take about an hour and involve some steep uphill sections. Once you arrive at the Talbauer, there's a terrace with a magnificent view. We had goulash and Kaiserschmarrn (shredded pancake), both of which were delicious.

07/03/2026: During the Winter Olympics, we spent a truly wonderful week at the Hotel Messnerwirt. The hotel is superbly located and boasts excellent room amenities. The rooms are comfortable, well-maintained, and spotlessly clean – you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. We booked half-board and were very satisfied with both breakfast and dinner. Breakfast offers a good selection with everything you could wish for. It's especially convenient that egg dishes can be ordered fresh and hot. The service is very attentive and friendly. Dinner, included in the half-board package, was also excellent. The menu selection is varied and of very high quality – a real treat after an active day. The hotel also has a small but lovely spa area, perfect for relaxation. While it's only open until 8 p.m., it's very well-maintained and pleasant. Another plus is the hotel's own parking, which is free and included in the booking. The hotel's parking spaces are free of charge and included in the price. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable stay in a small but excellent hotel with superb service, outstanding cleanliness, and very good food. We would gladly return!

28/02/2026: Comfortable hotel with kind, welcoming owners who are always available to meet any needs. Excellent cuisine, including gluten-free options. We were welcomed and pampered, especially by dear Nelli, who, despite being the only one serving dinner, was always impeccably precise and super kind. We hope to see the same staff again next year! 😊

18/08/2025: We visited the Pienzenau Restaurant in Merano on a balmy summer evening last week and were thrilled from the start. The stunning location, nestled between the vineyards and the old town of Merano, impressed us. The magnificent garden surrounding the property is a true gem and invites you to linger. Our seat on the terrace offered a wonderful view of the property and garden – a perfect setting for a special evening. The hostess and her team welcomed us warmly, immediately creating a familiar and homely atmosphere. Culinary delights left nothing to be desired: We enjoyed a fantastic three-course menu that will remain with us forever. The taste, quality, and presentation were of the highest standard. The team was also perfectly prepared for my gluten-free requests – without any prior notice. We would especially like to mention the young ladies in the waiting room – incredibly attentive, courteous, and always warm. All in all, it was an evening we will cherish for a long time to come. 23/01/2026: Over priced for the food quality, the starter where mostly fine, I would not recommend the winter greens, a nice option for vegetarians but would not go for it again. I found the main course, Tagliata with mushrooms to be bland and the meat tough. Perhaps just bad luck but for a sitting that cost 100€ I had higher expectations. My friends went for the fondue and from what I tasted of it it was nothing special. As for the atmosphere, we all thought that it looked nice but most complained that it was to hot in the room we were sitting and you could feel the the stale air. More ventilation is needed if you should have that many ppl and fondue pots in the same room.

20/01/2026: We order steak and ravioli. First with the positive cant say anything about ravioli they were good. About the steak first it came in raw(we ordered medium) it wqs super chewy, wrongly cut, and 0 taste. We at least asked if this is medium and they admited and being it back to kitchen. Than they bringed it back and gave us medium well more like well. We tried to eat it since i know there is no save at this time but it was still super chewy and with even less taste. So we left around 3/5 of the steak. We waitied like 20 minutes befoee somebody noticed us we finished ( the waitress walk around us many times and than stand in the back) After 20 minutes she came and didnt as anything, she lookes completly cool with that we left mroe than half steak, not a word if the food was good anything only if we want deserve. When im paying 60+ euros per one food in luxury 5 star hotel i would expect a top quality. I get that something can be wrong with the meat or it can be just error . But what really makes me sad is that the waitress didnt even care.

16/10/2025: A modern and chic restaurant with a great view, a cozy ambiance, a very pleasant atmosphere, top-notch service, and fantastic food. The selection is large enough to cater to vegetarians. The food was technically well-executed and everything was spot-on. The portions were pleasantly large despite the supposed fine dining expectations. All in all, an absolute recommendation.
