24/05/2026: The inn is situated right on the hillside with a beautiful view of the valley and the village of Tirol. We received a very friendly welcome and enjoyed a delicious Kaiserschmarren – highly recommended!

19/07/2026: Not a good experience here. The reservation I had submitted the previous day was not processed. Subsequently, we were allowed to eat outside. No nice atmosphere. The goulash soup was tasty, but the schnitzel was simple with unimaginative vegetables and soggy fried potatoes. Left quickly.
18/07/2026: Very nice place to haver dinner in Ortisei. Went twice when staying in the village.

02/07/2026: We are at Restaurant Nives several times during our stay at Boutique Hotel Nives, both the service and food were excellent each time. The staff are lovely as is the ambiance!
05/04/2026: Fantastic service! We only called 5 minutes beforehand to let them know we were coming, and everything was already prepared (gluten-free). All the staff were very competent and friendly. The food tasted great, arrived quickly, and at the perfect temperature. A wonderful experience!

15/06/2026: Very kind crew of the beautiful hotel. It is located in a beautiful nature area.
Several hundred meters above ( to reach bij cable or by car), you can have beautiful hikes, who are relatively flat with a beautiful panorama.
And the aperolspritz is great and not expensive.
14/06/2026: Excellent hotel with many amenities, including a spa service (for a fee) and a pool included. Excellent and varied buffet with a varied and high-quality dinner.
Location surrounded by greenery and super relaxing, with opportunities for walking and cycling right outside the hotel.
The only small flaw was the mattresses in our room were a bit sagging, compromising our night's sleep...all in all, an excellent choice and a great holiday.

We had a fantastic meal at Ristorante Sotriffer & Wine Bar. I ordered a delicious pasta with lamb ragout as a starter, followed by a steak for my main course—both dishes were cooked to perfection and absolutely full of flavor.
Great atmosphere, top-quality food, and wonderful service. If you're in the area, this spot is definitely a must-visit!

23/07/2026: We had a delicious lunch during our walk. Local specialties and homemade drinks! A nice family business where everyone helps to provide guests with a well-deserved lunch.
15/07/2026: The best Kaiserschmarrn in the area, fresh porcini mushrooms with bread dumplings, and fresh buttermilk with raspberry juice... it doesn't get any better. Top quality, prepared, plated, and served with love and care...
Well worth the trip, even if it means going a little out of your way...

15/05/2026: The website says the restaurant is open, but there's a sign at the entrance saying it's closed until September 19, 2026.
Not ideal if you make a special trip there.
