05/10/2025: I was disappointed. I knew it was expensive, but that's not the problem. I expected more quality beyond the presentation. Nothing memorable. Everything was more beautiful than it was good, including the Catalana. The dish was beautiful, but I've had much better elsewhere. The wine list is superb. A restaurant that's resting on its laurels. It was a pleasant evening, of course, but I expect more.

09/10/2025: Peak fine dining experience. The location alone is one of a kind. Located in the heart of Florence inside Hotel Brunelleschi, in a tower, they have very limited seating. The reservation process alone was an adventure in itself. Our visit was to celebrate 3 Libra birthdays. Our party of 4 opted for the 9 courses. One of us decided to do the wine pairing. When I tell you, there was so much food. We would’ve probably been better off doing the 7 courses, but we wanted to eat everything. We were all falling asleep by the end of the night. One was nonstop yawning. To the unfamiliar, they focus more on seafood. Every dish is out of this world. Down to the presentation. I savored every bite. The standout for me was the oyster and how it came in two parts. It was so innovative. I loved the sauces that accented the protein and the jus. Don’t even get me started on the service. What an attentive team. I always refer to it as poetry in motion the way the team moves effortlessly that you don’t even realize when they refill your glass of water. No crumb was left behind on that table. Someone scraped up anything that didn’t belong on the table after every course. Lastly, I just want to mention what a great job they did with the birthday cake that was an add-on to our meal. It was so damn good. Grazie Chef Rocco and team for an amazing meal.

06/10/2025: I chose the seven-course wine pairing menu, and it was truly exceptional. Each dish was beautifully prepared, and the wines matched every course with remarkable precision. The sea urchin and salted roe pasta was particularly memorable — rich, balanced, and full of depth. It was also my first time trying pigeon, and it was tender and flavorful, without any trace of gaminess. The entire experience lasted about four hours, yet it felt perfectly paced and immersive. After visiting the Uffizi Gallery, enjoying this dinner felt like the most elegant way to unwind. I not only enjoyed every moment but also learned so much about wine pairing throughout the evening.

10/11/2025: In Florence for work, I decided to treat myself to a relaxing evening. And so it was, dining alone in a beautiful, international, and welcoming setting. The food was very good. The difference and the plus, however, was the service, especially Daniele, who immediately responded to my wishes without a word. And Massimiliano, always attentive, courteous, and quick with a joke. In this increasingly digital world, the added value comes from people. Congratulations, I truly had a lovely evening. Highly recommended!

27/11/2025: Our experience here was disappointing overall. We visited as a group of five — including one child and two grandparents — and planned to share a couple of pastas, a Florentine steak, and a couple of sides. Instead of accommodating this, the server pushed to bring “equal portions” of both pastas for all five people. We were never told this would increase the cost so dramatically, and the two pastas alone ended up totaling about €100. It felt more like an upsell than genuine guidance. The food itself was underwhelming. Our Florentine steak was bland and noticeably under-seasoned — especially disappointing after watching the same server present another table’s steak with salt sprinkled alongside the meat. The inconsistency was hard to overlook. There was also no coperto listed, and the server made a direct comment that came across as soliciting a tip, which is not customary in Italy and felt uncomfortable. Overall, the unexpected pricing, upselling tactics, bland food, inconsistent presentation, and pressure for a tip made this a disappointing visit. Two stars for the ambiance, but we would not return.

11/11/2025: 5* overall, but to summarize: Let's start with the service, which I would describe as punctual, discreet, and absolutely perfect. The food—every dish is prepared with love, respecting the organoleptic qualities of each ingredient. The result is undoubtedly a well-balanced dish where every bite is a delight for the palate. The presentation of the dishes—here too, you can sense the care and attention, offering what could be described as small works of art. In conclusion, I'd like to say that it's truly difficult to find a restaurant where you feel like a guest and not a customer. Kudos to Raffaele and his staff, who know how to give me an excellent experience every time I visit. Well done everyone!!! Edit: Mine was a business dinner with about ten guests, all extremely surprised and satisfied by this corner of paradise. See you next time 💪🥰

03/12/2025: I didn’t have the chance to experience the food, as I arrived at 7:15 am after seeing on Google that breakfast opened at 7:00 am, only to be met with an unexpectedly rude reception. When I first asked at the hotel reception, a staff member informed me that the restaurant was open but that I needed to use the front entrance rather than the hotel entrance—which was completely fine. I mentioned that the front door wasn’t opening, and she appeared go to address it. I returned to wait outside with my 4-month-old baby and 3yo in the cold. After five minutes with no update, I went back to reception, only to find the door closed and to be met with abrupt, dismissive behaviour from another staff member. I explained that the door still wasn’t opening, and he replied that if it wasn’t open, they “weren’t ready yet,” and I would simply need to wait. When I said I would just go elsewhere, he seemed entirely unconcerned and shut the door in my face. If the opening time is listed as 7:00 am on Google and communicated as such to guests, it’s unclear why the response was so rude and unhelpful. My family and I would have happily visited more often during our time in Florence. What made the experience especially disappointing is that my husband and I stayed at the hotel before having children and loved our stay, but this visit has made us realise how judgemental they are because we weren’t guests. Honestly outraged at the behaviour and as somebody that works in the industry, will be sure to spread the word.

16/11/2025: Restaurant with tasty food, friendly staff and great atmosphere. The pasta was very tasty and at the end we were surprised with a sweet snack on the house. The price in the photo is for 7 people.

09/11/2025: A wonderful experience! We had dinner at this restaurant while we were in Pisa City Center. Let me start by saying that the location is excellent, just a stone's throw from the train station and easily accessible on foot. We ate wonderfully, ordering a first course each and a Florentine steak weighing over 1kg each. The first courses of the day were delicious and plentiful, as was the meat. The service was also excellent; the waiter who served us was extremely helpful and polite. At the end of the dinner, they offered us a homemade amaro and a croissant with cream and Nutella. They also left us a tower full of heart-shaped lollipops and sweets. As if that weren't enough, when we had to pay, the owner (also very kind) gave us a discount on the total (and literally ended up giving us the wine we had ordered). What can I say? One of the best experiences I've ever had. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

07/11/2025: Excellent service, delicious food, a little difficult to find parking, and the atmosphere was also a bit tricky. The dining room is excellent, but the entrance is unfortunately a bit cramped. Between those waiting for a table and those waiting for takeout pizzas, there's little space. A three-course menu with meat and fish options. Very good.

19/11/2025: A truly beautiful restaurant, we had a truly wonderful time. We had lunch here for our anniversary, and everything was excellent. We spent €160 for two, but it was worth it. The tartare was delicious, and the pasta was excellent. I would definitely try something else. A must-try.

14/11/2025: We came for lunch during the off-season to this beautiful seaside location with direct beach access. The welcome was warm, and the decor tasteful. As for the food, the seafood was excellent, and the pizzas delicious. The service was impeccable. The wine list deserves special mention. As lovers of Burgundy wines, it offers an impressive selection that will delight connoisseurs of fine wines.
