Definitely recommended, whether you're looking for an alternative to Tuscan cuisine or simply want to go somewhere different.

03/03/2026: Beautiful atmosphere with lighting. Service was excellent and we had much attention from our server and assistants. . The food was excellent . The restaurant sent us an appertivo platter gratis with multiple small bites- bruschetta, liver pate etc all delicious.

22/07/2026: Visited for lunch on a Sunday, for my wife's birthday. I won't go into detail because that would be too much praise. Try it, you won't be disappointed. Everything is delicious. And, for truffle lovers, they serve it year-round...

14/07/2026: Dinner with a couple of friends. The review would be long, so I'll summarize: fabulous location if you dine on the terrace, beautiful inside. The only drawback is being too close to the loud music (DJ set) in the adjacent aperitif area. The service deserves a 10 for how they handled my tiramisu, but otherwise, it was okay...there's definitely room for improvement in some details considering our location. The dishes we tried were well-received and showed attention to detail. Prices were in line with the offerings. My tiramisu? I found a small elliptical piece of iron in it...perhaps from the container? If I had swallowed it, it would have been very unpleasant. There will be a second chance, however...and I'm sure it will be great.

26/07/2026: Great spot for some nice food! We had the tuna tartare and seafood salad starter which were both delicious 👌 Vongole & seafood pasta a must try also 🤙 They also had fans going which was a nice break from the heat!

25/06/2026: One of the best views over the Tuscany hills you will ever experience in your life. Catching the sunrise was a highlight, and just staring up at the starry sky, pitch black, flickering stars of galaxies. Pure bliss! Yes, you can clearly hear the insects and cricket noises constantly, but apply some bug spray and you'll be fine. Drive slow on approach to this villa, as the terrain is quite dusty and a little steep. Plenty of space to park your car, and transfer luggage to the villa's accommodation spaces. Some rooms may require a lift of the door handle to lock properly - ask with the hosts to confirm. Room 8 (that I stayed in) had the following: Sofa, TV, Table, Chairs, Fridge & Freezer combo (turn dial inside to switch on), dishwasher, usual utensils (pots, pans, bottle opener, ladle, etc), kettle, oven stove, wash basin, sink, plenty of IKEA cupboards. Bathroom: Shower, sink, storage space, toilet, bidét, bath towels. Bedroom: Giant wardrobe with extra bedding inside if needed, Double bed, Single Bed, Window shutters - mesh net over window to stop insects entering the room. Overall, Very happy to have stayed here for a nearby wedding at Villa Ulignano. Huge thanks to the hosts for being so kind :)

25/07/2026: We stumbled upon Irene's bar by chance, and we were very pleasantly surprised! The waiters and waitresses were very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. We ended up staying all evening. Plus, we were offered a platter of appetizers with chips—what more could you ask for? I highly recommend this very local bar!

18/07/2026: Extraordinarily friendly staff. Interesting location, across from the old market. Excellent music. Delicious pastries, appetizers, and coffee. Everything is in harmony with the vital elements.

07/07/2026: This place is awesome! Truly a hidden gem. The street is super quiet so it’s a good calm place to eat. We brought 2 kids and they could run around as much as they wanted. Highlights zucchini flan, prawn pasta and burrata pasta was amazing! Almost don’t wanna write a review because people might start coming. Also the prosecco blanc du blanc was 🥰

06/07/2026: I'm speaking to you as a Florentine. For several years, it's been an anonymous place, over-pretentious and with service that leaves much to be desired. They only think about hosting events here. Whether it's weddings, birthdays, or corporate parties, everything remains very banal overall. Year after year, a bar/restaurant so full of potential remains off the radar. It's clear there's no soul. Despite giving itself the airs of a chic place, it remains bland. A top location, you walk past it and you don't even notice. It's a shame you've become just a room and a beautiful garden to rent out... Marco

26/07/2026: The service was very polite and served quickly. The dishes were generally all ok. The pizza was good but small, everything seemed ok but I felt there was something missing in this pizza.

14/07/2026: I'm a fan (my wife calls it obsessive) of spaghetti with clams, which seem easy to make, but precisely because they have so few ingredients, making them is very difficult (I mean, making them a masterpiece). I've eaten them all over Italy, and in my ranking, the best were in Calabria, but after eating them here, I had to revise the ranking and put them in first place... stupendous... there were more clams than spaghetti on the plate... it felt like sucking on a rock with the flavor and aroma of the sea... Never seen one... and clams of various types... I want to go back as soon as possible to make sure it's not a coincidence... but I don't think so... the other dishes and the pizzas too, made very well... and the prices RIGHT!... WELL DONE!

21/06/2026: Very good restaurant. Amazing service. People were very nice smiling and kind. Food was tasty. Menu is small but good. Would visit again to try pizzas. Menu is bit above average but the restaurant is good quality. Enjoyed our dinner. It got full very fast after opening either come early when it opens or book a table.

06/06/2026: Terrible restaurant, you have to wait at least 2 hours to eat, they only have one waitress, it's hopeless to stay there

01/06/2026: Terrible experience last night at this restaurant. After almost two hours of waiting, we were served obscene food!! The tordelli ragù was obscene, not to mention the paccheri with baby octopus!! The quality was terrible, the bill was high!! And on top of all this, the owner shamelessly discounted our bill by 9 euros!!!

04/07/2026: My wife and I stayed here with our camper van at the beginning, which was great being very close to the beach when the temperature was very hot in Tuscany. The site was very busy in July but still you had the peace at night. Unfortunately we hat a breakdown with our van and so we stayed a week longer than expected in one of the sites caravan which was great for two persons. What is more important was the support we got from the reception staff and especially from Alexandra ( who is German) who helped us manage all the issues/ translation we had with the workshop and were very flexible so we could stay as long that was needed. Thanks everyone for your help ❤️ We would come back here again next time we are in Tuscany…

01/06/2026: Our family spent three nights at the campsite. We initially booked a medium-sized pitch, but it was no longer available. We were then offered an alternative pitch – Campino. This pitch accommodates three motorhomes. We were initially a bit skeptical, but the site is right by the sea and relatively quiet, as it's set back from the road and the pool. The communication before booking was excellent and quick. We were really lucky and shared the pitch with very quiet guests. The access road is a bit narrow, but easily navigable; we were traveling in a 7.5m x 2.3m motorhome. The site is located directly on the coast. The beach is a narrow, stony stretch, but well-maintained and beautiful – especially in the evenings. We were there for the weekend. Be aware that this section of the beach is used by locals and can get quite crowded when the weather is nice. I think that's the case everywhere, unless they're private sections belonging to a campsite. The pool is also used by non-campers. Visitors who aren't staying at the campsite can buy day tickets and use the pool. Since the pool isn't very big, it was quite crowded and noisy on the weekend – so we unfortunately avoided that area. Overall, we would come back. The sanitary facilities are well-maintained, clean, and modern. The shower time is limited to 210 seconds. However, you can time it, and it was perfectly sufficient for my daughter and me.
