One aspect I really appreciated was the relaxed atmosphere: you can spend the evening unhurriedly, enjoying time with friends without the usual anxiety of having to vacate a table. 20/09/2025: Every time I go to Siena, I book at Michele's. I've been going there for five years now and have always had a great experience. I'll be down in Siena again in October and I'll book a table there. Excellent food, a large restaurant, suitable for large groups, polite staff, and Michele is a great character. The meat is truly excellent, as are the pasta dishes, a wide selection, and very tasty. I recommend it.

17/01/2026: Unfortunately, it was an unpleasant experience!! Let me start by saying that it was a 30th birthday party with more than 10 guests. We had kindly asked for a slightly more secluded table: they gave us a very narrow table (even the waiters had trouble getting through), and it was right next to the door, with constant cold drafts. Furthermore, when we went to the bathroom afterwards, we found the room before the bathroom to be very spacious, with adequate tables, and with fewer people than my guests. When we brought the cake, before dinner, and saw the table, my boyfriend had also kindly asked if we could have another table (for the reasons listed above), and the response was "any table is as good as any" - I should have already figured out the situation and canceled, and I would have done so if it hadn't been two hours before the birthday party. They were very rude from the start because they thought we were "noisy": not only were we mostly women, not football fans leaving the stadium, but we'd also specifically asked for a table further apart because, since it's a 30th birthday party, it's normal for someone to be a little louder, otherwise I'd have gone to the convent to celebrate. They wanted to use a bottle of some alcohol to "hold down" the balloon: my father, so a grown man, accidentally broke the cork while fixing the balloon. We immediately apologized and said we'd pay for the bottle; the waiter, very rudely, turned around and said: "Who told you you could touch it?" I know it sounds like science fiction, but I swear it really happened! This hostile atmosphere lasted throughout the entire dinner. In their rush to send us away, a waiter was taking away my plate where I still had the sliced ​​steak to eat. Crazy, it's never happened to me before. The food is good but nothing special, especially not worth it for the way you're treated—that is, not as a customer. The vegetarian, on the other hand, ate various dishes with different names, all basically the same mixed salad with various sauces. An experience NOT TO BE REPEATED. Luckily, my guests were very nice; at least they saved my birthday :) I was very disappointed; I've never been anywhere where the staff was so rude to customers. Terrible.

27/10/2025: I had dinner with a friend on Friday evening. We ate deliciously, and the service was perfect: fast and attentive. The gnudi with butter and truffle were excellent.

27/03/2026: The restaurant enjoys a splendid location overlooking the sea; on clear days, you can admire the Tuscan islands and part of Corsica. However, the quality of the dishes often doesn't match the scenery. The service and coffee at the bar are excellent.

10/03/2026: A truly wonderful experience from the second you walk through the door. The staff are professionals with a sense of humor. The food is amazing! Our next time visiting Florence, we will be definitely returning.

03/03/2026: Beautiful atmosphere with lighting. Service was excellent and we had much attention from our server and assistants. . The food was excellent . The restaurant sent us an appertivo platter gratis with multiple small bites- bruschetta, liver pate etc all delicious.

06/04/2026: I went with my mother, without reading any reviews or anything else. It was a delightful and surprising random choice. The place is very well-kept and clean. The staff is polite and attentive. The owner is truly kind and courteous. The food is simple but authentic and the combinations are imaginative. I highly recommend it! Thanks from Rome to the owner and staff.

06/04/2026: The atmosphere is much calmer than in the nearby square. There were four of us, and we ordered pizzas, homemade spaghetti, and octopus: everything was delicious, well-seasoned, and generously portioned. The service was quick, and the staff were very friendly. All this for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend it.

07/04/2026: Overall, one of the best restaurants in the area. From appetizers to main courses, side dishes, and desserts, everything is balanced to perfection. The plating is also beautiful. Definitely recommended, whether you're looking for an alternative to Tuscan cuisine or simply want to go somewhere different.

04/04/2026: We've been in love for years. Discovered it by chance over 10 years ago. Delicious food, incredibly friendly staff, and there's even a grocery store attached. Every now and then, we travel from Liguria specifically to eat there and enjoy Montecatini center and Montecatini Alta, which is a little further away.

20/01/2026: I go there regularly when I go to pick up fish at the Volpi fishmonger's early in the morning. Very early in the morning, I meet an older man (I think the owner), who's very friendly and nice. The Valdostana is delicious, and here you can also find the real old Spuma Bionda.

10/01/2026: Bar Irene is now an institution, and they know how to do it. There are only two problems: 1) the indoor space is practically nonexistent, so there's only outdoor space. 2) people smoke outside, regardless of whether someone is still eating at the next table. If good manners aren't present (i.e., getting up and moving away from the tables), the manager should intervene and allow smoking either outside or on the outdoor terrace. This is the only really annoying thing.
