16/12/2025: Considering you're in a unique part of Tuscany, full of stimuli and unique flavors, a restaurant with that kind of cuisine is an insult to the region. Bland dishes served at the temperature limit due to the countless elaborate dishes; the entrée is a waste of time. I won't dwell on the dishes and will simply say absolutely nothing. A woman in the kitchen who sits all evening allegorically recalling the cuisine of the past when there's absolutely nothing of the past. The staff is kind, with a thousand thoughtful touches, sometimes even cloying. Regarding the wines, when I asked a very simple question—"A local organic or biodynamic wine?"—three of them completely lost their minds. My only regret is that I drove 1.5 hours to get there. My last statement: stop looking for stars that have become obsolete; go to the fields and shops to seek out quality raw materials.

03/11/2025: The interior and furnishings are all tasteful, but the food here is probably the worst in Italy. The only edible food is bread and butter, and you can't try anything else! The kitchen hood is terrible, and all the smells spill into the dining room, which is also a big minus. I definitely won't be coming back. The price is astronomical 🤬🤬🤬

11/01/2026: Without a reservation, drawn only by the elegant ambience, we entered for a couples' dinner at a place you'd recommend to any true friend. The manager (whose name, unfortunately, I didn't ask) was attentive, welcoming, and empathetic, bordering on embarrassing for a skeptical Genoese like myself. Pumpkin tortelli 10, ravioli lucchesi 10, duck breast 10... if there had been room left in my stomach, I can imagine what the desserts would have been like. Catering, and indeed any profession in general, should always be conducted according to these pillars of passion, courtesy, and dedication. Congratulations, Marco & Eva

20/09/2025: Every time I go to Siena, I book at Michele's. I've been going there for five years now and have always had a great experience. I'll be down in Siena again in October and I'll book a table there. Excellent food, a large restaurant, suitable for large groups, polite staff, and Michele is a great character. The meat is truly excellent, as are the pasta dishes, a wide selection, and very tasty. I recommend it.

22/02/2026: I went to Il Vecchio e il Mare in Florence tonight and was really satisfied. We had pizza, and it was excellent: light dough, well-cooked, and high-quality ingredients. The place is beautiful and well-kept, welcoming, and pleasant. The service was also quick and friendly, which always makes a difference. I have to be honest, after seeing some of the pasta dishes pass by, we almost regretted not ordering them 😅 because they looked so inviting. It will definitely be an excuse to come back! Excellent value for money. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to eat well in Florence. 🍕

01/01/2026: Not a completely positive experience, New Year's Eve dinner was positive, we ate well and had fun, the only flaw was the rooms, which were dated, dirty and cold.

13/03/2026: A real tourist trap. The pizza was clearly not fresh or made on the spot – it looked like it had been bought somewhere else and it was even served cold. The food was generally very disappointing for the price you pay. The staff was also unpleasant, especially the blonde waitress, who came across as very unfriendly and uninterested. The only positive thing about this place is the location, but there are much better restaurants in Lucca. I would not recommend it.

03/03/2026: Beautiful atmosphere with lighting. Service was excellent and we had much attention from our server and assistants. . The food was excellent . The restaurant sent us an appertivo platter gratis with multiple small bites- bruschetta, liver pate etc all delicious.

17/01/2026: Unfortunately, it was an unpleasant experience!! Let me start by saying that it was a 30th birthday party with more than 10 guests. We had kindly asked for a slightly more secluded table: they gave us a very narrow table (even the waiters had trouble getting through), and it was right next to the door, with constant cold drafts. Furthermore, when we went to the bathroom afterwards, we found the room before the bathroom to be very spacious, with adequate tables, and with fewer people than my guests. When we brought the cake, before dinner, and saw the table, my boyfriend had also kindly asked if we could have another table (for the reasons listed above), and the response was "any table is as good as any" - I should have already figured out the situation and canceled, and I would have done so if it hadn't been two hours before the birthday party. They were very rude from the start because they thought we were "noisy": not only were we mostly women, not football fans leaving the stadium, but we'd also specifically asked for a table further apart because, since it's a 30th birthday party, it's normal for someone to be a little louder, otherwise I'd have gone to the convent to celebrate. They wanted to use a bottle of some alcohol to "hold down" the balloon: my father, so a grown man, accidentally broke the cork while fixing the balloon. We immediately apologized and said we'd pay for the bottle; the waiter, very rudely, turned around and said: "Who told you you could touch it?" I know it sounds like science fiction, but I swear it really happened! This hostile atmosphere lasted throughout the entire dinner. In their rush to send us away, a waiter was taking away my plate where I still had the sliced ​​steak to eat. Crazy, it's never happened to me before. The food is good but nothing special, especially not worth it for the way you're treated—that is, not as a customer. The vegetarian, on the other hand, ate various dishes with different names, all basically the same mixed salad with various sauces. An experience NOT TO BE REPEATED. Luckily, my guests were very nice; at least they saved my birthday :) I was very disappointed; I've never been anywhere where the staff was so rude to customers. Terrible.

27/10/2025: I had dinner with a friend on Friday evening. We ate deliciously, and the service was perfect: fast and attentive. The gnudi with butter and truffle were excellent.

19/12/2025: I've never seen such a beautiful bar. Two beautiful girls, who work with kindness towards their customers, will cheer you up all day.

25/10/2025: We ate while passing through Siena, and it was a great choice. The menu was reasonably priced and delicious. Spaghetti Bolognese was delicious.

01/03/2026: We stayed at this resort for 10 days in June, almost four years ago. The highlight is the charming brick bungalows. They're very well built, aesthetically pleasing, and offer every comfort. The outdoor area could be improved. I'd renovate the loungers, adding a mattress for each; I'd add some colorful deck chairs and modern privacy screens to the patio, for privacy, given that the bungalows (I'm referring to those farther from the sea) are quite close. The beach could also definitely be improved. The pebbles and gravel should be leveled, making it more livable, and a lifeguard and cleaning service should be provided, as well as a small kiosk selling drinks and sandwiches. The view is very picturesque; to the left, we see the magnificence of Calafuria, with the Boccale Castle nestled in its midst. A sad note is that DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED on the artificial beach known as Cavalleggeri. I believe this is truly limiting for the dog/human partnership. You should take steps to provide your four-legged friends with some REAL additional services. There is no dog area and no dog-friendly shower (which is quite serious). I believe that by 2026, certain restrictions should be lifted. In this regard, you should improve significantly. Another negative point: the swimming pool is open to "outsiders" on weekends. I would call it a reckless decision, which creates chaos, disorder, and dirt. The restaurant is decent, where dogs, fortunately, are welcome. The market is reasonably well-stocked, but a bit "expensive." The village parking lot is outside, and to access it, you have to cross a VERY DANGEROUS ROAD. Why not have the Livorno MUNICIPALITY install SLOW-DOWN BARRIERS or, if feasible, a traffic light with a pedestrian crossing!!!!???? Every crossing is truly a tricky one, especially with children and strollers... You should protect this by seriously considering filing a formal application with the municipality. Would I go back? Honestly, I don't think so. The potential is there, but it needs to be transformed.

28/02/2026: We were lucky and got a small pitch. The campsite is nice, but very crowded and a bit pricey. It's close to Livorno (by the port), so that's no surprise.
