20/08/2024: Found by chance on the internet, during a dinner as a couple we were pleasantly surprised As a lover of "juicy" pasta I can say that they don't skimp on quantities and seasonings. Reasonable and honest prices. The desserts are also tasty and satisfying :) The service was a little slow but it was worth it! Maybe there was some hitch We will definitely return to enjoy the second courses observed from the neighbours' dishes, abundant and inviting :)

28/08/2024: I can’t remember the last time I was sad that a meal had finished, the food was that good! The restaurant has a wonderful setting covered in vintage tourism posters from all over the world, and as you walk down the stairs you walk past the open kitchen where you can see the chefs at work. The atmosphere is calm and even with a full restaurant it wasn’t loud. The service was impeccable, with the waiting staff on hand to help with menu recommendations and the appropriate wine to complement your dish choices. We went for three pasta dishes, the spinach gnocchi with sage and butter, the cannelloni ‘buca lapi’, and the fettuccine with veal ragu. They were all spectacular with the veal fettuccine the stand out dish for me. The menu offers a variety of Tuscan and Florentine dishes so what ever you choose you’re in for a great experience! Highly recommend!

22/08/2024: Siamo stati con tutta la famiglia a cena in questo ristorante suggeritoci dalla guida. E non potevamo trovare di meglio! I Primi sono ottimi, ma la carne davvero eccezionale. Unica pecca poca scelta per gli antipasti. Anche se quei pochi disponibili sono di buona qualità. Ci hanno suggerito un ottimo vino, servizio perfetto e cameriere gentile e simpatico! Ci tornerò sicuramente!

02/08/2024: Atmosfera molto amichevole, gli interni del ristorante sono stati rinfrescati recentemente ed è gradevole. Personale gentile e alla mano. Aria condizionata perfettamente funzionante. La cucina è però superiore a tutto: ottimi gli scampi con riso pilaf, la padellata paccheri e frutti di mare, la pizza e la pasta al ragù per il più piccolo della tavolata, che è un buongustaio ed è rimasto molto soddisfatto. Le patatine fritte meritano una menzione speciale perché non surgelate come ormai fanno tutti, ma tagliate a mano e fritte bene. Prezzi molto onesti . Da ripetere presto e complimenti a tutti lo staff.

26/08/2024: They brought me some sandwich looking like mini club sandwich with mediocre ham and cheese with potato on side, which was saying prosciutto and cheese on the menu and I did not expect fries at all as it was supposed to be breakfast .

13/08/2024: Historic house surrounded by greenery, very clean and well-kept hotel. excellent service, cozy rooms and a very comfortable bed. the breakfast was decent... perhaps a little below for a 5 star hotel. the dinner was excellent however. the thermal area and the spa were nice... but I can't give an opinion because it did too hot to use it. The cool pool area was spacious and nice and was the backdrop to our weekend of complete relaxation

15/06/2024: Completely relaxing stay. Compliments to the Chef who made us taste excellent dishes. Al Maitre, very attentive to all needs and an excellent advisor. The staff were all extremely kind. Two unforgettable days in an enchanting landscape.

24/04/2024: We were there this evening and, since it wasn't clear to us on Google, here it is for everyone else: this is an expensive restaurant 😄 we wanted to have a little something to drink and eat and Google suggested this restaurant to us. When we arrived we were a bit confused at first because the restaurant is in a not so pleasant area. That was one reason why we didn't expect such a fancy restaurant. They were very nice to us, but then made it clear to us that we would be better off somewhere else. We were in the restaurant for about 10 minutes and can't say anything about the food. To save others from this misunderstanding, we would like to leave a note. Also good to know: it is a type of wine restaurant.

07/07/2024: Elegant restaurant with very friendly staff. The raw materials are of high quality and the combinations are certainly interesting. We didn't enjoy the experience much despite having taken a tasting menu with wine pairing. We were surprised by the complete lack of attention for a little dog we had with us: we weren't even offered a small bowl of water. It's worth it, but there are some elements that surprised us negatively: the bathroom was old and not very well looked after and the entrance, perhaps not the main one, was a bit abandoned with some boxes in front of the counter. In short, having already had many experiences in starred restaurants, we can say that the food is worth it, but the expectations for a two-star restaurant were decidedly high and not fully satisfied.

17/06/2024: An evening of surprises, all positive. The approachability and creativeness of the menu, the outstanding wine list (with very reasonable prices), the graceful service, and the wonderful setting. Most impressive that the hostess has been here for over half a century, there must be something magical in the water… most certainly worth a visit. Nota bene … several reviews confuse the simpler “Giardino” with the 2 Michelin star restaurant “Caino”. This review is for the latter, which has tasting menus from ca. €200.

16/08/2024: Tutto molto buono, locale semplice e adiacente ad una strada piuttosto trafficata. Questa la nota dolente. Le portate noi le abbiamo trovate abbondanti e ben eseguite. Le salse gustose. Forse un po’ grosse le fette di agnello nella pita, ma nel complesso tutto buono. Proposte menù varie e così anche la selezione di vini. Il kadaifi per me troppo dolce, mentre lo yogurt greco con i fichi caramellati era squisito e dolce al punto giusto. Personale professionale e gentile. Conto corretto.

08/08/2024: Tra i miei ristoranti preferiti in zona Massa, bello il locale, ottima la cucina, personalmente apprezzo molto il gyros special con insalata greca, consigliatissimo sia per mangiare direttamente sul posto sia per un pita gyros da portare via!

As far as I'm concerned, I didn't give my best because there were still some particular dishes missing, in short, something other than a "Wow" effect was sought after. But I'm sure it will come out, it can only improve greatly and it's already excellent. I will definitely come back and highly recommend it. Well done!
