19/04/2026: This restaurant was suggested by AI. We truly wanted to find something non-touristy and avoid a tourist trap, and were hoping to try local meats, so we decided to give this steakhouse a chance. Unfortunately, we were very negatively surprised by the level of service we received. First, the waiter didn’t really understand English. We don’t blame anyone for that, as there’s no requirement for everyone to speak it, but it made communication very difficult. The waiter mixed up our order several times and brought out a different wine than what we had asked for. On top of that, he brought the wrong bottle size and struggled to open it. We ordered two steaks and received them very undercooked, despite having ordered them medium. The steaks were simply not enjoyable. We were also puzzled by some of the unusual service choices — after the meal, they brought out a large stand filled with lollipops and candies, and insisted on cash payment collected in a plastic toy car-shaped can, which felt very strange and unprofessional. Overall, the experience was disappointing and we would not recommend eating here to anyone looking for a delicious meal with great service.

20/09/2025: Every time I go to Siena, I book at Michele's. I've been going there for five years now and have always had a great experience. I'll be down in Siena again in October and I'll book a table there. Excellent food, a large restaurant, suitable for large groups, polite staff, and Michele is a great character. The meat is truly excellent, as are the pasta dishes, a wide selection, and very tasty. I recommend it.

The food is amazing, with a selection of incredibly fresh and excellent raw seafood. Prices are absolutely in line with the ambiance and menu. Save their number in your address book!

Plenty of pampering and attention make your stay magical. Every member of the staff works to make your holiday special and feels truly at home here. The treatments available are cutting-edge. I personally had the intensive biocast, and it was truly exceptional. A tangible result, in addition to the health benefits. Giulia, the person in charge of the treatment, was superb, gentle, and an excellent professional. We will definitely return to enjoy this paradise again.

25/03/2026: Known as the oldest restaurants in Florence, people come here for the ambience and the steak. From the second I entered, I had top-notch service by the owner and my waiter. The sage gnocchi is to die for. I also had the florentine steak for one, which is A LOT but worth it! The ambience here is great too, I wish they had some quiet music playing in the background though, it was very quiet when it had opened at 7 pm and people started dining.

16/12/2025: Considering you're in a unique part of Tuscany, full of stimuli and unique flavors, a restaurant with that kind of cuisine is an insult to the region. Bland dishes served at the temperature limit due to the countless elaborate dishes; the entrée is a waste of time. I won't dwell on the dishes and will simply say absolutely nothing. A woman in the kitchen who sits all evening allegorically recalling the cuisine of the past when there's absolutely nothing of the past. The staff is kind, with a thousand thoughtful touches, sometimes even cloying. Regarding the wines, when I asked a very simple question—"A local organic or biodynamic wine?"—three of them completely lost their minds. My only regret is that I drove 1.5 hours to get there. My last statement: stop looking for stars that have become obsolete; go to the fields and shops to seek out quality raw materials.

03/11/2025: The interior and furnishings are all tasteful, but the food here is probably the worst in Italy. The only edible food is bread and butter, and you can't try anything else! The kitchen hood is terrible, and all the smells spill into the dining room, which is also a big minus. I definitely won't be coming back. The price is astronomical 🤬🤬🤬

22/03/2026: We had lunch here today. Everything was delicious, dishes from the Garfagnana area. The service was quick and attentive. The only flaw was the dessert... we had tiramisu, but unfortunately, it was a pavesino soaked in coffee with whipped cream and a dusting of cocoa. It couldn't be called tiramisu. I wondered where the mascarpone cream was. I'd say it's a reinterpretation... a very reinterpretation. 🤣 Clean bathrooms. Overall, a good restaurant.

25/01/2026: Nice place away from the chaos, the guys are all great... I always feel great when I leave there. We always order the fried pasta (delicious) because the tomato sauce is exceptional; the pizzas are excellent, with beautiful toppings, but I tried the new sandwiches and was amazed! We had the tempura shrimp sandwich (pictured) and the tuna one, delicious, we weren't expecting them. Well done, well done, well done! P.S. The desserts are also very good and highly recommended. (P.S.: The pizzeria has moved from the restaurant, which is now located on Via Romana.)
