I repeat, I WAS THERE, and she didn't do it on purpose! After reading what she wrote, I wonder... Are you feeling okay? She's happy writing bad things about someone she doesn't know and didn't even look at while he apologized!!!! Well done LUCCIA, keep being kind and compassionate towards others!

11/07/2026: This Spanish tapas bar in the city center has a truly authentic atmosphere. Each appetizer is small, but the flavor is excellent; I recommend the grilled shrimp skewers. I don't recommend the cold ham and egg soup, however: it has a strange flavor and a garlicky aftertaste. Each portion is only enough for two people; for example, a shrimp skewer only contains three shrimp. If you're with a large group, you'll need to order more to feel full. Each portion costs 6-7 euros, so ordering several will cost 20-30 euros per person. Alternatively, you can opt for fries. Of course, the sangria 🍹 is delicious, and the waiters are kind and friendly. 👱🏻‍♀️👱🏻👩🏼

08/07/2026: Popped in here for drinks and tapas with friends. Lovely to mix things up from Italian cuisine. Everything was tasty, including the jamón! It was quite busy by 9pm and obviously popular with locals. Small plates were great to share and staff were very accommodating of our English.

14/08/2026: Incredibly good Chianina Bistecca alla Fiorentina. I've eaten at some of the 101 Best Steakhouses in the World, including Michelin-starred ones. This steak ranks among the best I've ever eaten. Thank you for this amazing experience.

09/06/2026: This place could use a good refresh, as the spaces and rooms clearly reflect the passing of time. The furnishings are dated, and the rooms now look run-down. At the spa, where silence is required and smoking is prohibited, a lady entertained us for HOURS by talking at the top of her voice on her cell phone, using the speakerphone. After all the guests had waited too long, the staff was called, but they were unable to silence the aforementioned "lady." Instead, with uncontrollable rudeness, she attacked everyone present with tantrums and sarcasm. We had to leave the common areas, as it was impossible to experience the peace and quiet we had come for, and unfortunately, the staff failed to enforce the rules the facility itself has imposed. In fact, the lady remained blissfully in the pool, disturbing everyone's tranquility, taunting anyone who criticized her. Meanwhile, her husband was happily smoking in the space where the NO SMOKING SIGN kept the other (useless) silence company. We had to forgo some healthy relaxation (which comes at a high price), and unfortunately, our short vacation, which was intended for just that, was ruined. In the square in front of the entrance, we also saw children playing ball, and frankly, it didn't seem like a suitable environment for such an activity. If you're looking for peace and relaxation, I sincerely advise against it. It's a shame because the place has a truly remarkable view, and the spa staff were truly professional.

07/06/2026: Fantastic experience. From the moment you walk through the elegant gates, you'll realize that every guest is at the center of attention here. Plenty of pampering and attention make your stay magical. Every member of the staff works to make your holiday special and feels truly at home here. The treatments available are cutting-edge. I personally had the intensive biocast, and it was truly exceptional. A tangible result, in addition to the health benefits. Giulia, the person in charge of the treatment, was superb, gentle, and an excellent professional. We will definitely return to enjoy this paradise again.

17/08/2026: We felt completely at ease at Bistro del Piccolo Mondo from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. The service was attentive, warm, and highly professional. We were wonderfully looked after and felt welcome from the very first moment. The food was delicious, fresh, and of truly excellent quality. The portions were just right, and it was clear that they value good ingredients and careful preparation. We also loved the location: The restaurant is centrally located in the heart of Lucca, yet it's pleasantly quiet. You can watch the world go by while relaxing and enjoying your meal. The lovely ambiance makes it all perfect. We would also like to especially commend the warm and welcoming owners. Besides Italian, they also speak Polish and English. And regardless of the language, one thing is clear above all: genuine hospitality. A very special thank you to Beata for her warmth and for making our visit so special. 🧡 We highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy delicious, fresh food in Lucca and feel truly welcome. 01/08/2026: Tasty food and very nice waiter, there was a mixup in our order and they gave us the food we ordered an let us eat the food that they made due to the mix up :)) waiter was very friendly and when he heard we are polish he tried to speak to us in polish which was quite nice overall i would definitely reccomend :D

16/12/2025: Considering you're in a unique part of Tuscany, full of stimuli and unique flavors, a restaurant with that kind of cuisine is an insult to the region. Bland dishes served at the temperature limit due to the countless elaborate dishes; the entrée is a waste of time. I won't dwell on the dishes and will simply say absolutely nothing. A woman in the kitchen who sits all evening allegorically recalling the cuisine of the past when there's absolutely nothing of the past. The staff is kind, with a thousand thoughtful touches, sometimes even cloying. Regarding the wines, when I asked a very simple question—"A local organic or biodynamic wine?"—three of them completely lost their minds. My only regret is that I drove 1.5 hours to get there. My last statement: stop looking for stars that have become obsolete; go to the fields and shops to seek out quality raw materials.

03/08/2026: An authentic restaurant, with delicious dishes and a very welcoming and warm atmosphere. The service was professional, elegant, and unusually kind. They helped us choose the perfect wine to complement our dishes and recommended the best local specialties to try. For our first course, we chose the Senese pici with tomato sauce; for our second course, the grilled steak with a mixed garden salad. The ingredients were extremely fresh and of excellent quality. The pici were truly exquisite! To finish, we tried the zuccotto, which was very good and light.

20/07/2026: The food, service, and atmosphere were all absolutely perfect. I was particularly worried because it was so hot outside, but I didn't feel the heat at all while eating and really enjoyed the meal. It was convenient to order a variety of dishes to share. Reservations seem to be a must.

08/08/2026: We ate really well, but the location is definitely another strong point: spectacular, right in front of the Emperor's Castle. The real difference, however, was made by Silvia, the waitress who served us. We have a one-year-old daughter, and Silvia treated her with truly special attention: she could sense what I needed even before I asked. She was attentive, kind, friendly, and always ready to help, making us feel truly welcomed and at ease. It's those little touches that make the difference and transform a simple dinner into a wonderful experience. A person like that deserves to be recognized... Congratulations to Silvia and the entire staff! We'll definitely be back. ❤️

02/08/2026: We had a great meal. The appetizer platter of raw fish and seafood was fantastic. The red wine was excellent. The service was very attentive. We'll be back.

20/08/2026: A terrible, forgettable 0-star experience. We had reserved a table for 7 people at 8:00 PM with a confirmed seat. We arrived early and were seated outside. As soon as we sat down, without even giving us time to open the menus, the staff began insistently pressuring us to order, even arguing with each other in front of us in their rush to take our order. While we were ordering, they brought us 4 bottles of water (€12). Within minutes, the weather worsened dramatically and a thunderstorm rolled in. We asked to move the table inside to avoid the rain, and the incredible response was that yes, we could move, but we absolutely had to vacate the table by 8:45 PM for another reservation. With 7 people, it was impossible to dine and enjoy the evening in 35 minutes. While we were trying to figure out what to do, the platters arrived; we immediately stopped them, explaining that we wouldn't be staying in the rain. At that point, the owner intervenes and, in an aggressive and completely unprofessional tone, tells us that if we had continued arguing, we would have lost that table as well. Shocked by such rudeness, pressured, and treated with no respect, we decide to get up and leave. To make matters worse, we're presented with the €12 bill for just the opened bottles of water. I go to pay and, instead of receiving an apology for the poor service and the embarrassing situation, we're even blamed. Restaurant isn't just about serving food, it's also about welcoming and respecting customers. This place completely lacks both. Highly not recommended.

08/07/2026: Worst experience I've ever had. Unbelievably arrogant and rude. I've been all over the world and have never been spoken to like that by any business. Absolutely , avoid at all costs.

07/07/2026: Still the best food and location in the region. The cuisine has improved, and the staff manages to keep the mood high with the expanded beach seating. Wonderful in July, but sublime in February, May, and especially October.

12/08/2026: Exactly what you expect from an Irish pub. A great atmosphere and good beer! Guinness was €7.50. They had a good offer for a bucket of 5 beers for €20.

06/08/2026: Ordered the buffalo wings which did not disappoint! They use a different type of buffalo sauce than what us Americans are used to, vingaer based, it was delish. Recommended.
