11/01/2026: When we're in Castiglioncello, we happen to stop by this restaurant. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, as is the owner, who knows how to cater to her customers' every need. The desserts are excellent.

07/02/2026: I come to Follonica every now and then, because I have a client, a restaurateur, not because I don't review clients: I deal with high-quality wine and food, my opinion is very informed, not influenced by impressions. I've stopped here twice, with my wife, both out of season: we're on the beach, and you can also eat outside, right on the sand, weather permitting. The cuisine is seafood, and when you eat fresh, well-prepared, quality fish, the price is never low at all. But if the preparation is meticulous, the service excellent, and the ambience as well, they can put you at ease even if they're hosting an event, and the wine list is more than satisfactory—within the limits of local distribution: I said, he's not my client... :-)—it's money well spent, and you won't regret a thing. Of course: between the two of us, we're just over a hundred, plus wine (one bottle, the rest you take home). I've already mentioned the service, but here, it really deserves a special mention.

27/01/2026: The spaghetti with clams and bottarga was excellent, but the lobster was a little thin. The ricotta and spinach ravioli were plain. Excellent wine list. High prices. 3 first courses, 1 bottle of wine (entry level), 1 water... almost 100 euros...

01/01/2026: I didn't know it, and I found a little slice of Spain in Prato. The dishes are truly delicious and well-prepared. The sangria is superb.

17/11/2025: After my first visit, I fell in love...so here I am again sitting at their table, enjoying that "different" experience that's often missing. I discovered Patanegra here and I can't live without it. A welcoming atmosphere and very kind staff...I can't wait to return.

16/10/2025: Impeccable service. I was looking for a particular book, they found it for me, and in half a minute it was gift-wrapped and ready.

26/11/2025: Very classic dishes, nothing wow-worthy or innovative, but excellent quality and attention to detail. The service was impeccable, too. We started with tartar and stuffed mussels (slightly salty), followed by cheek (which melted in the mouth) and the fish of the day. I also recommend the desserts; we opted for the apple pie and the mascarpone pie (pictured). They also brought us an amuse bouche and, along with the desserts, an assortment of their small pastries. The wine list is also good.

31/08/2025: The food at "La conca pizzeria" was absolutely delicious. We've rarely eaten such good pizza, the appetizer was excellent, and the tiramisu was divine. The regional wine pairing rounded it all off wonderfully. We'd happily return.

18/08/2025: The pizza was absolutely delicious. The dough was light and easy to digest. The place is cute, with a clean and tidy outdoor area in the summer. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We'll definitely be back, and word of mouth is a must. Highly recommended.

18/01/2026: The steak was very good. Never ask the waiters for recommendations because they'll push the most expensive items on the menu. In our case, they recommended a rather expensive ham and cheese platter as a starter.

20/09/2025: Every time I go to Siena, I book at Michele's. I've been going there for five years now and have always had a great experience. I'll be down in Siena again in October and I'll book a table there. Excellent food, a large restaurant, suitable for large groups, polite staff, and Michele is a great character. The meat is truly excellent, as are the pasta dishes, a wide selection, and very tasty. I recommend it.

16/12/2025: Considering you're in a unique part of Tuscany, full of stimuli and unique flavors, a restaurant with that kind of cuisine is an insult to the region. Bland dishes served at the temperature limit due to the countless elaborate dishes; the entrée is a waste of time. I won't dwell on the dishes and will simply say absolutely nothing. A woman in the kitchen who sits all evening allegorically recalling the cuisine of the past when there's absolutely nothing of the past. The staff is kind, with a thousand thoughtful touches, sometimes even cloying. Regarding the wines, when I asked a very simple question—"A local organic or biodynamic wine?"—three of them completely lost their minds. My only regret is that I drove 1.5 hours to get there. My last statement: stop looking for stars that have become obsolete; go to the fields and shops to seek out quality raw materials.

03/11/2025: The interior and furnishings are all tasteful, but the food here is probably the worst in Italy. The only edible food is bread and butter, and you can't try anything else! The kitchen hood is terrible, and all the smells spill into the dining room, which is also a big minus. I definitely won't be coming back. The price is astronomical 🤬🤬🤬
