10/01/2026: Four of us had dinner: two with Smartbox and two of my guests. After reviewing the menu, we discovered that only a few appetizers and main courses were available that evening. My guests opted for only one first course: busiate pasta with Nebrodi pork sausage. The dishes arrived quickly, especially since there were very few of us in the dining room. The bill: €72.00 for two plates of busiate pasta and two tiramisu dishes for the guests. Furthermore, the total included two covers prepaid via Smartbox, which I found unfair. I didn't say anything. The food quality was average, with probably excessive salt use. The location could be improved, and the service was basic. On a positive note, the young cashier/waiter/handyman was courteous and helpful, although unfortunately not very knowledgeable about the menu. Overall, a decent experience, but with several aspects that need improvement.

06/01/2026: Our favourite restaurant in Taormina! We came here on our first evening of our honeymoon and enjoyed it so much we came back on our last. The restaurant interior is lovely, but we enjoyed sitting in the courtyard on both occasions. Food was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. All the staff were very helpful and friendly, explaining dishes and helping us to find the right wine pairings. The manager in particular was super friendly. All round incredible place and a must visit.

24/02/2026: I chose That's a Moro based on the reviews... and I was right. The restaurant is original and well-finished: divided into different rooms—Sala dei Cavalieri, Sala del Barocco, and Sala dello Scirocco (which opens in the summer)—each with its own identity and atmosphere. This detail makes the experience more interesting and never boring. The food is truly excellent: well-executed dishes, clean flavors, and balanced ingredients. The management is discreet but present in the right way. I had the pleasure of speaking with Stefano, who became the owner a few days ago: I wish him a great future, because the foundations are solid. A place that combines personality, quality, and hospitality. I'll be back.

07/01/2026: Excellent restaurant: delicious food and a spectacular location, with a breathtaking view of all of Taormina and Mount Etna right across the street. During the summer, a splendid upstairs terrace is also available. Highly recommended, especially for the kindness of the staff. We chose a raw fish appetizer to share, two first courses (a risotto and tagliolini), and, to finish, a dessert. Everything was delicious, and we had a truly wonderful time. Thank you, Alfio!

03/01/2026: Expectations are inevitably high in a restaurant of this caliber. And it must be said right away: they weren't disappointed, even if there was a slight sense of "it could have been better." The setting is refined, elegant but not stuffy, with a warm, well-lit dining room and a nighttime view that pleasantly complements the dinner. The service is one of the strong points: extremely kind, attentive, never intrusive, and capable of making you feel welcomed from start to finish. The fried seafood is well-executed, using quality ingredients, dry and light. However, for a €25 dish, the portion is objectively modest: two people can eat, yes, but with the feeling that something is missing. More than the quality, here it's the quantity that doesn't live up to the asking price. The risotto with shrimp tails and cheese is perfect, balanced, and well-creamed. Good, without a doubt. But at this level—and especially at €25—you expect that wow factor, that bite that lingers in your memory. In this case, it doesn't explode; it remains a good dish without becoming memorable. The real surprise was the soup: intense, deep, enveloping: truly, very good, one of those dishes that justify the cuisine and leave a lasting impression. Overall, a good experience, pleasant and refined, with room to become excellent. A restaurant that has everything to convince, but which could be more daring with some dishes to fully justify the bill.

22/12/2025: The fish appetizers were excellent. The hot mixed salad and the battered vegetables were exceptional. The pizzas were very good. Excellent service. Highly recommended.

06/11/2025: Excellent service, the staff is super attentive, the service is very fast even if it is always very crowded, the food is delicious, from pizza, to risottos and pasta, 100% recommended

28/10/2025: A very warm welcome, a smiling waiter, and quick service. They changed our wine because there was a problem with the one we were initially served. They didn't charge us for it and even offered us a complimentary digestif.

26/10/2025: The perfect place, a discovery of the 2025 season. Local, seasonal, and top-quality ingredients. The bruschetta tomatoes are aromatic and fragrant, with a touch of good extra virgin olive oil. The mussels are of excellent quality, fresh, perfectly prepared, firm, and not rubbery, with a delicious sauce of their own, seasoned so that the seasonings don't overwhelm their flavor. Next time, I'll ask for a spoon, because it would be a shame to leave such a wonder on the plate! The raw red shrimp from Mazzara del Vallo served with a drizzle of citron sauce and pink peppercorns. A masterpiece! The grilled swordfish is simply divine... The new team, led by Carlo and Mauro, make every effort to ensure guests feel comfortable and satisfied with the service. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. I consider this a prime example of how customer service should be. Attentive, kind, and genuine. I will be back, and I highly recommend it! 08/03/2026: An excellent lunch featuring fresh, well-prepared fish, excellent wine, and delicious desserts prepared by the chef. Excellent service made even more unique by the friendliness of the owner. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Caltagirone!

09/03/2026: After a previous experience, we wanted to try this restaurant again, but it wasn't possible due to the dog not being accepted (even after various reassurances). We haven't experienced such a refusal in years. It's a shame, we're disappointed, and we won't be returning. P.S. I'm sorry to be accused of dishonest behavior for not canceling, which I did. I told the lady, who replied that she could cancel the reservation. Evidently, she didn't. Sincerely,

28/02/2026: The food is good enough, but the quantity is very limited, while the price is disproportionately high. A busiata, 4 small red prawns, a small fried dish, a spaghetti with clams, 2 salads, and a half-liter of wine in a carafe. No dessert, no coffee. €95 for two is definitely too much! There are better places in the area!

25/02/2026: We stopped here on a whim and had a very good meal (mussels, spaghetti carbonara, penne alla Norma). The dishes were not only perfectly prepared but also beautifully presented. We didn't have to wait long. A true professional with a passion for their work is at work here. The server was probably still in training, but very attentive and friendly. However, the clientele was quite small, consisting of only two couples.

25/02/2026: ⛔️AVOID THIS RESTAURANT I ordered the Crudo Royal (€30 - Scampi, Fish Carpaccio, Red Prawn, Tuna, Oyster) tonight. Please take a look at the picture to see what I actually received, aside from the quality. Waiting time: 45 minutes (in an empty restaurant!?) Plate check: loads of tiny scampi, tuna, red prawns (without tongs to crack them open), and some kind of white stuff. NO FISH CARPACCIO!!! NO OYSTER!!! On top of that, everything, EVERYTHING, was frozen, thawed (hence the long wait), and then marinated in oil. The poor, pale seafood was cold and slimy. He said it was oil... it was thawed stuff! Incredibly disgusting. I could only wash it down with white wine. I should have sent the plate straight back to the kitchen; this is completely unacceptable!!! Before paying, I wanted to know where the oyster was. I only just noticed the missing fish capaccio. The chef made excuses... nothing was delivered this evening, but he compensated. Compensated with what?! I ordered the most expensive appetizer, and he didn't want me to change my mind, so he decided to simply alter the dish for me. I wasn't asked beforehand, nor was I informed. That's incredibly disrespectful and dishonest. Communication is everything. Regarding the slimy leftovers, he claimed they were marinated. It's a disgrace that such a person is a chef in a restaurant; shame on you!!! I paid the €40 without further discussion, but he more than deserves this bad review. The waitress was only physically present. She never came by to ask if everything was alright, if I wanted another glass of wine. Nothing. A completely bizarre experience. If your health is important to you, please spend your money elsewhere!

06/03/2026: The place is very large and dispersive, the food is average. Cleanliness could be improved, but overall we ate well, I recommend it.
