07/08/2024: Very nice place located in the countryside of Modica and Fricintini and Cava d`ispica very kind and knowledgeable staff, the only flaw is that you must have a navigator otherwise it is a little difficult to find

11/08/2024: Enchanting location, with terrace overlooking the Gulf of Taormina. Truly excellent quality food, generous portions, prices not exactly within everyone's reach but commensurate with the quality. Friendly staff. Although it is difficult to reach and there is no parking except in the streets below, it is absolutely worth it!

24/08/2024: Very close to the cathedral (VERY tourist area). Very good traditional Italian food, with excellent service and atmosphere and a price that is not excessively expensive. I recommend the carbonara or the tomato paste with anchovy, a delight

23/08/2024: My family and I had the pleasure of having dinner in this excellent restaurant, found somewhat by chance, located a few steps from the Norman palace. We had the pleasure of discovering a welcoming, intimate and refined environment; served by attentive and kind staff, with delicious dishes to say the least… Wonderful experience to absolutely do again!!

08/05/2024: Wow, just wow. Mara; who owns the restaurant took excellent care of us and was only outshined by the food. We’ve been all over Sicily and this restaurant stayed to the local cuisine and we felt like we were eating at a local family’s home who prepares food based on what the mountain offers. We had the Pork and the Etna Pasta. My wife and I loved both, but in my mind the sauce that accompanied the pork put that dish over the top.

04/08/2024: Excellent restaurant, with creative dishes that still respect quality raw materials. Very distinct and not "exaggerated" flavors. Professional and friendly staff. The chef made sure to know if everything was okay. We gave him sincere compliments. Price more than fair.

02/07/2024: La prima sera a Comiso, con mia moglie e le mie due bimbe abbiamo cenato a Disio dietro suggerimento di nostri amici che c'erano già stati. Li ringrazio! E ringrazio i due titolari (marito in cucina e moglie in sala) che hanno saputo creare un vero e proprio tempio del gusto e dell'accoglienza. Qui il cliente si sente veramente coccolato. La ricerca amorevole e competente delle materie prime del territorio esalta la bravura dello chef. La scelta degli ingredienti, le farine, gli odori, i profumi... tutto parla di Sicilia. Della Sicilia più autentica. Per gustare quanto più possibile delle varie proposte, siamo tornati una seconda volta. I primi eccezionali, la pasta fresca esaltante... gli antipasti memorabili... i secondi ottimi... e i dolci... i rosoli. La carta dei vini non è ampia ma propone dignitosissime etichette siciliane, oltre a una scelta di birre artigianali locali. Un'esperienza gastronomica che da sola vale un viaggio a Comiso... anche perché la simpatia, l'empatia che i due titolari riescono a creare con i clienti è merce rara.

29/06/2024: L'antipasto Disio era già stuzzicante e piacevole, ma con il coniglio "alla stimpirata" lo chef si è superato.. Ricetta ottima, una bella esperienza di gusto, perfetta la cottura del coniglio, condimento che ha invogliato alla scarpetta finale.. Bravi, complimenti, sicuramente consigliato per chi si trova a visitare la bella cittadina di Comiso.

26/08/2024: Excellent restaurant, nothing to complain about. The boss and staff are very cheerful and friendly. Prosecco offered on arrival, huge and tasty pizzas, good value for money. Special mention for the Italian ratatouille as an incredible starter!

22/08/2024: Excellent fish starter with welcome aperitif, even the first courses were a pleasant surprise, all very plentiful and of good quality. The service was quick and very kind, also recommending the dishes of the day which were excellent. We will definitely be back!

06/08/2024: Exceptional service and food. The place is beautiful with great views. Given we were there for lunch, the restaurant was too warm to our liking even though the air conditioners were on. Highly recommended

07/08/2024: Abbiamo partecipato al matrimonio dei nostri carissimi amici e abbiamo riscontrato parecchi aspetti negativi,piatti e bicchieri ancora bagnati messi sui tavoli,posate sporche,buffet scarsissimi e non all'altezza della quantità di persone,piatti buttati quasi in faccia agli ospiti seduti al tavolo,e tante tante promesse agli sposi non mantenute...peccato era veramente una bella location per i matrimoni ma da qualche anno fa acqua da tutte le parti,potenziale sprecato,lo sconsiglio vivamente ,caro per ciò che offre.Optate per altro o farete solamente brutte figure con i vostri ospiti

04/07/2024: Prenotando per un matrimonio ci viene proposta una sala. Chiamando la prima volta fanno presente che può ospitare massimo 100/150 persone. Dopo un paio di giorni riceviamo una chiamata per l'indisponibilità della sala, perché " usata esclusivamente per eventi come di battesimi, lauree ecc. Ma non per matrimoni, informazione che potevano fornirci prima di far perdere tempo. Ps in verità in quella "sala esclusiva di piccoli eventi" dove non si possono celebrare matrimoni, alcuni hanno comunque celebrato il loro pranzo di nozze. Poca professionalità.

29/08/2024: Posticino molto accogliente, di classe, personale di sala top, piatti di categoria, carta dei vini buona con prevalenza regionali. Ci siamo stati tre volte e ci torneremo!

29/08/2024: Enfin un vrai chef digne de ce nom en cuisine. Parmi tous les restaurants à touristes dans Palerme celui-ci change par ses plats et leurs qualités. La carte élaborée par le chef sort des éternels pâtes (même il y en a ) et pizzas à Palerme. Vous avez carte digne d'un très bon restaurant à Paris et, en plus avec des prix qui ne sont pas exorbitants au vu de la qualité des produits comparés aux autres restaurants. Nous avons même eu des amuses bouches en entrée. Vous pourrez même y dégusté du " lapin en gibelotte". Le tiramisu a été revisité avec glace à l'intérieur mais hélas c'est plutôt un échec (trop sec et pas imbibé avec un jus). Sinon les plats servies étaient au niveau d'un très bon bristonomique et reflète je pense bien le travail et la recherche de perfection du chef. De plus le restaurant bien que situé dans une avenue très fréquenté est à l'écart du bruit et bien en retrait de la rue. Les tables sont situées dans une terrasse calme et accueillante servie avec un personnel de qualité.

17/08/2024: Two of us arrived at 8.30pm at 8.35pm ordered a pizza and a pork shank with potatoes and a bottle of nero d'avola, at 9.45pm the shank arrived cold and raw and it smelled, we sent it back, yes rearrange a medium cooked sirloin with baked potatoes, meanwhile the pizza arrives...we wait, at 10.05pm the raw meat finally arrives (very hard and flavourless) and the potatoes. We take away the remaining meat (almost all of it) saying that we would continue cooking at home. At the checkout we reported everything and given what had happened they discounted us by €. €50.50. 30.00 but this doesn't justify what happened, we were there on 14 August 2024 and all in all it went well... we definitely won't be back and we won't recommend it. In catering given the prices, you can't go wrong, let alone improvise, non-existent chefs...I forgot the two small gluten-free sandwiches, moist almost wet and raw...

16/08/2024: Location in the center of Castelbuono, a few steps from the Central Square, a terrace overlooking the Madonie landscape that is worth the dinner, the pizza is excellent, well leavened and light, the tasty appetizer, the grilled caciocavallo is super, the barbecue ribs are delicious. Excellent value for money, courtesy and professionalism of the staff, thank you Mr. Christmas, we'll be back.

08/07/2024: I didn't expect it, exceptional pizza, super full, super soft, quality ingredients, for the first time I couldn't finish the pizza because it was really big. Super punctual delivery. In summary? SUPER! Be wary of negative comments 😎 P.S. I had a parmigiana with chips (really a lot 😜)

27/07/2024: In my personal opinion, this establishment stands out as my preferred dining option within the Motta area. Their pizza offerings are exceptionally delectable, particularly the Calabrese variety. It provides an adequate level of spiciness to satisfy my preferences. Furthermore, the pricing is reasonable, and the quality has consistently met my expectations. I have visited this establishment on three separate occasions this week, and each time, I have been thoroughly impressed by the culinary offerings.
