21/03/2024: Clean, refined and tidy location. We found kindness, friendliness and customer care. We were greeted with a welcome gift at the table and smiles. We highly recommend the delicious bruschetta, the fried mix, the pasta with pistachio, the second course with a trio of fish and the desserts, each better than the other. We opted for tiramisu, cheesecake and sorbet. All very good. We truly appreciated the surprise on the cake with the candle and the number 8, corresponding to our eighth wedding anniversary. A really positive note was the tasteful background music, set at a balanced volume which allowed you to relax but at the same time be able to talk.
Two constructive criticisms concern... 1^ the pasta with pistachio: a smaller quantity of pesto would have been perfect. 2nd concerns the second course, I would have expected at least two prawns and not just one since it is written in the plural on the menu. I would have liked to give 4 and a half stars but since it's not possible, I go overboard and give 5 well-deserved stars. Because truly, excellent value for money, all the staff are kinder than the others, possibility of a 20% discount thanks to a online application.
Happy to have spent our eighth anniversary with you, we will certainly return with pleasure. A special thank you goes to the Lady, whose name we don't know but who, "is the business card of the place."

20/03/2024: Returned after 6 years. What a great place. A lovingly created old English pub, without any of the tackiness of a theme pub. My favourite ale, Hobgoblin, and several others including Bombardier. The background music is old Southern Blues (there's live music Friday night). The barman is friendly and professional. Speaks very good English. Couldn't recommend more highly.

I haven't tried the food and I don't know if it's on the menu, I only drank beer.

The food is exquisite, I have had the pleasure of trying different courses over time and they never disappoint,
The quality is good, the price is well related
Giusy and her husband are two wonderful people! I highly recommend to everyone

10/03/2024: Out of this world...I wouldn't even give 1 star but it's not possible..poor menu..choose the cheeseburger..and they don't even have the correct ingredients like mozzarella cheese with the hamburger..baaah..do you want the sauces?. ..on the table..you have to open it and put them on yourself..do you want barbecue...nooooo..what are you talking about..small...fake bread..but you pay for it as a single dish
We order the mozzarella..there aren't any..the chips...you would like the beer..but it doesn't arrive..and when it arrives..you think they will have understood baby..ask the waiter and he replies: there isn't any baby. Medium or large...any glass...so the roses come in a glass for 0.30 and the blonde for 0.40...the price as if they were medium...😳😳
..let's move on to the tongs..I order a biancaneve the ingredients are mozzarella and parmesan flakes..and what comes with tongs with a very thin layer of mozzarella and no flakes..dinner not to be repeated..and look at the receipt...waiter ..out of this world too..the only poor waiter in the room..we won't go back again..

05/04/2024: Beautiful setting, a delightful corner overlooking the bay of San Giovanni Li Cuti. As for the aperitif, a bit disappointing in terms of variety, quantity and presentation... I would also place some table centrepieces, to recall the marine or even Sicilian atmosphere matching the dark brown heads on display... but that's just my point of sight! Cute music wallpaper 🎶🎧😉

09/11/2023: Se non hai possibilità di spostarti in auto dalla zona, in questo periodo resta l’unica opzione decente. Ritengo che poco lontano ci siano tante altre opzioni con rapporto qualità/prezzo decisamente migliori. E’ stata un’esperienza sterile, ho semplicemente placato la mia fame con pietanze dal gusto indefinito. Se poi aggiungiamo che per quanto ho pagato, ho cenato su un tavolino apparecchiato con tovaglioli di carta etc, nemmeno questo piacere è stato appagato. Nel complesso, se non hai alternative valide, per una cena senza pretese può essere valutato.
