18/08/2024: On a Saturday evening in August, I stood outside for more than 10 minutes waiting to speak to someone on staff to ask for a table for 2 people (and the associated waiting time). Nobody came to talk to me in those 10 minutes, so I decided to go to another place. I understand that summer Saturday evenings are particularly difficult due to the amount of work, but at least a little more attention to "probable customers". I would have preferred to read a note at the entrance with "reservations only" or "we do not accept new requests for tables" rather than be ignored for so long. I'm sorry to leave negative reviews, but I hope it can be read as constructive criticism.

31/08/2024: Let me start by saying that I have been a customer for years, a promoter of the venue on a large scale given my profession as a property manager and manager of personal accommodation facilities on site and several others around Ortigia and the city. However, this was not enough to have a very simple and well-paid service, namely that of taking away pizzas with wholemeal/semi-wholemeal dough as my mother, seriously ill, had expressed the desire for a good pizza on Plan B. The response from one of the staff was: "I'm sorry but we don't do takeaway pizza with wholemeal or semi-wholemeal dough!" Although I had replied that due to my mother's serious pathology she could only eat that, their "kindness" ends with a contemptuous "NO" directly from the owner, who I would like to point out knows me as a regular visitor and admirer of his restaurant . Naturally, not only will I no longer set foot on public land on the external veranda, but I will stop sending friends and various tourists staying in my facilities, even if it were the last pizzeria open in the area. Zero humanity and zero respect have always led me to despise local pseudo-entrepreneurs who proclaim themselves starred chefs and impose stupid and harmful internal rules, disrespecting those who have contributed to their miserable growth over the years. 28/08/2024: Very good pizza dough and quality ingredients to season the pizzas, but used in not excessive quantities. Pleasant environment, convenient location, but in an area that is too busy in summer. The service definitely needs to be reviewed as it was definitely too slow. Very high bill for what we ate.

18/06/2024: We discovered this pizzeria by chance... located near Piazza Galatea, it immediately presents itself with a series of outdoor tables. The outdoor area is elegant, with soft lights that create a relaxing environment. The menu is full of various courses. We got some pizzas. The dough is excellent, it is crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The ingredients are also good. Overall it was a nice and good experience.

18/06/2024: The food was amazing. Appetizers were delicious, specially the bruschetta. Main course was flawless. And the best was saved for last, the desserts were fantastic. I would go back there in no time to get more of the melon gelatto and the millefoglia cake. It was *so* good that we went back there for dinner again in the following night.

26/07/2024: Rarely do I come home with the desire to write a review, well this is the right time. If you are wandering in the scorching summer heat and find yourself in Lingua, your refuge is Il Delfino. In the shade of the "pinnata", refreshed by the sea breeze you will be welcomed by the elegance of Gisella and the professionalism of Giovanni. Photos are superfluous because the dishes have a unique presentation like the taste that distinguishes them, a flavor of family and affection prepared with local, quality products. A peaceful corner where you can taste one of the many wines produced on the island, a complete cellar where you can choose between Whites with a strong flavor or Reds that enhance the aromas and scents of the Territory. For many it will be a simple review, for me it is a thank you, because stopping at the Delfino even for an aperitif is already a great opportunity. Cheers beautiful people and happy holidays.

14/08/2024: Modern and elegant environment, very bright. Good ice creams and at least 18 flavors in the assortment. Pastry products, yogurt and granitas. The coffee is also good.

31/07/2024: A lovely place with excellent pizza and excellent appetizers. We had dinner in the courtyard outside and the atmosphere was pleasant. It's a shame about the total absence of music, it made the place a little too quiet, however we spent a nice evening.

01/06/2024: Una bellissima serata con amici, attenzione ai dettagli e al cliente. Abbiamo optato per la formula aperitivo rinforzato e siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti per qualità e bontà. La rua fera con il nuovo menu offre opportunità di una ampia scelta che va dalla pizza, agli hamburger, alla pasta, ed offre formula all you can eat. Un diversivo alla solita routine. Noi siamo clienti fissi e ritorniamo a casa ogni volta ampiamente soddisfatti. Un grazie a tutto lo staff.

03/05/2024: I was at the lunch on May 1st 2024, and there won't be a next time! Only one thing I liked, the buffet outside. A restaurant that presents me as a second course with roasted chicken wings with a piece of sausage and a steak as dry and hard as the sole of a shoe, and should give me two glasses, one for wine, one for water and there should also be a cloth napkin not paper, I hope the owner takes these suggestions to improve his place. But we don't even evaluate how it is now.

19/08/2024: Nice environment and excellent service. The octopus cooked at low temperature is highly recommended, really good! The owner is friendly, present and very attentive to the customer.

18/08/2024: Nothing special just a lot of ingredients put together without sense and without flavour. Our ceviche and my red mullet were full but full of lemon/lime, good only for the sore throat my wife had, the tagliolini with redfish among the various ingredients included capers, never seen before and the mussel risotto thrown away etc. only tasted like rice

04/08/2024: This was the first time I ever came here and I have to say, I have had a wonderful experience with my family. Service was spectacular! The waiter was very nice, had very nice conversations and suggestions with us, always available for any request needed. Food portions and quality ratio is fantastic. You get big portions and high quality ingredients. Only “negative” thing I could say is the slight price increase. Everything felt like it was slightly increased on average. Just lower a tiny bit some prices.. a Pizza Capricciosa should not cost almost 20€.. It doesn’t matter anyways because the experience, food and service I had with my family were incredible and I will definitely come back. Thank you for reading. 100% recommend this.

18/06/2024: One of the best breakfast places in the area, I Highly recommend. Breakfast in Italy is very different from Americanized and English breakfast. So this place is a gem if you are feeling a bit homesick while on vacation and traveling.

16/04/2024: I came here with my school for an educational trip, clean place, excellent service and quite good food, super friendly staff, especially a guy (whose name I don't remember, sorry) with whom I had a really interesting conversation in English, excellent experience also for the right costs, I will definitely return

15/08/2024: Very good food but the price was a bit expensive in my opinion... nothing to say about the staff, very attentive and courteous. Location with a wonderful view of the Valderice viewpoint. Unfortunately the problem that penalizes it is the parking but that is a problem of the municipality not of the venue. I give 4 stars only for the slightly high price... for the rest I would go back.

08/08/2024: Frequento le isole Eolie da decenni e, mediamente, non ci sono ristoranti particolarmente interessanti. Ma il ristorante Al Tramonto, in località Acqua Calda a Lipari è stato più che una splendida sorpresa! Rarissimamente abbiamo mangiato pesce VERAMENTE freschissimo. Qui l'abbiamo trovato. Il personale è cordiale ma non invadente. Il servizio più che soddisfacente. La location in terrazza panoramica fa il resto. Da non perdere. Indispensabile la prenotazione, anche se c'è la massima ddisponibilità ad accogliere, anche all'ultimo momento. Complimenti!!!!
