14/07/2025: Very high prices, but the dishes don't justify them, some of which were technically flawed, such as a ceviche with just one fish and so much onion that you couldn't taste the flavor of the single fish. First courses with sea urchin foam. In short, very little raw material, sometimes foamy, sometimes emulsified. Not enough fish, not much substance. What did we pay? Nothing to complain about the service. The place was half empty.

14/07/2025: The atmosphere is very pleasant and the service is excellent. They recommended a delicious, chilled white wine. The eggplant ravioli was very good (especially the tomato sauce that accompanied it). The risotto wasn't very tasty. We didn't love the tiramisu.

Abbiamo più volte scelto di pranzare/cenare, non solo per la qualità e bontà del cibo, ma anche per la cordialità e disponibilità del Sig. Mimmo e dei suoi familiari. Abbiamo apprezzato le tagliatelle allo scrigno, i secondi a base di pesce e gli antipasti tipici siciliani. Porzioni abbondanti e gustose. Torneremo sicuramente

10/06/2025: One of the few pizzerias, perhaps the only one in Modica that makes vegan pizzas (note the plural) and for this alone a thousand stars! All the pizzas are good. Excellent cooking, but the desserts are thrilling, they are so exquisite! A must if you want to know another Modica, the more rural one

12/07/2025: I'd never been there before. The place is charming, but the portions are tiny and it's expensive. I'd booked a table near the sea, which was confirmed over the phone, but once we got there, our table was on the opposite side of the sea, right next to the veranda that separates it from the inside. It's a real shame, but I don't think I'll ever go back.

05/07/2025: Nice place open until late at night where they serve not only pizzas but also dishes. Good pizza but average. Crazy prices on desserts. The millefoglie is described as transcendental but it turns out to be a normal dessert. Overall low quality/price ratio.

25/06/2025: A special mention goes to Antonio's fried Sicilian, among the best, if not the best in the city, as well as his desserts, specifically the melon jelly.

27/06/2025: We are 3 people and we were put on a table for 2. There were other families that were accommodated to a 4 people table. We had to squeeze in to eat our food normally. Great food and very friendly crew though.

More than Plan B I would say the only possible choice 😃 Pizza alla “pala” incredible culinary experience, soft and delicate with an excellent crunchiness absolutely to try, even the focaccia was not far behind... for dessert we tried the decomposed cannolo, exquisite... the staff was excellent and Mattia welcomed us in the best way!

21/05/2025: Consigliato da amici siracusani azzeccato alla grandissima, Semplicemente STREPITOSA! Più che Piano B direi unica possibile scelta 😃 Pizza alla “pala” esperienza culinaria incredibile, soffice e delicata con un’ottima croccantezza assolutamente da provare, anche la focaccia non era da meno… come dolce abbiamo provato il cannolo scomposto, squisito… lo staff ottimo e Mattia ci ha accolti al meglio!

25/06/2025: I'm not a fan of reviews, but since I can't sleep because of a stomach ache, I think it's deserved. Really bad experience, a place outside where the only nice thing is the lights above your head, terrible food, I ate a platter of cold cuts for two and a pizza, after 3 hours I still can't digest. Service: abandoned to ourselves, a glass of wine 9 euros first with a piece of cork inside, then another wine that with nine euros you could have bought 6 bottles. In short... Top 50 pizzas emblem on the entrance door... Maybe it was the 49th.

07/06/2025: Amazing place! If you like fish and more experimental Italian cuisine, this is your place. The food is amazing, the location is very nice and good service, plus they have a very cute dog. The egg is very good, the carbonara with swordfish is amazing too!

02/07/2025: This is already the second summer in a row that we have been regular guests of the Lido Tropicana beach during our summer vacation in Taormina. A perfect and very pleasant place for RELAXATION and SWIMMING FUN! One of the few private beaches around Taormina where everything is superbly organized and therefore works perfectly. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, and the beachfront restaurant is highly recommended: great value for money. We are already looking forward to seeing you again in summer 2020. 😃 Thank you so much for everything!!! This is already the second year in a row that we had the great luck to be regular guests of the Lido Tropicana again during our vacation in Taormina, Sicily. The beach is a perfect place for a great leisure time and swimming bliss. It's one of the few private beaches surrounding Taormina where everything is perfectly organized and allows everyone to just relax and have a fabulous time by the sea. The staff is very friendly and kind, and their own restaurant is sensational! We are already looking forward to our next year's trip! 😃 Thanks for everything!!! 29/06/2025: A real shame about the service. Location and food very good. The service is not very attentive to the diners, plates not washed well and they allow the people at the next table to smoke cigars on you. Asked for the bill 3 times until we got up. Truly top chef and location! Let's give Caesar what is Caesar's!
