12/01/2025: Il posto è bellissimo, il camino che scalda la sala, tutto così meraviglioso. La signora Cinzia è una persona meravigliosa, gentile, accogliente attenta a tutto. Ci ha serviti e coccolati dal primo istante in cui siamo arrivati fino alla fine. Piatti tutti caserecci e fatti freschi, super abbondanti e super buoni. Siamo rimasti soddisfatti al 100% torneremo sicuramente e consigliamo assolutamente questo ristorante per chi vuole sentirsi a casa, mangiando bene.

02/04/2025: Very warm service. Absolutely incredible pasta. We had the boar ragu with truffle and the scialletelle gambero (shrimp) and both were fantastic! Stunning view of Etna and the town as well.

25/09/2024: Esposa y yo hemos visitado La Caravella muchas veces a lo largo de los años, Dominic y su equipo siempre nos han cuidado mucho y nos trataron como familia. Durante esta visita pasamos cuatro días disfrutando del paisaje y almuerzos tranquilos. Las tumbonas de playa están muy bien espaciadas y tiene una sombrilla bien anclada para proporcionar sombra si se desea. Su equipo nos recogería en nuestro hotel Taormina y nos transportaría a la playa donde nos recibirían y nos mostrarían nuestros lugares para el día. Camine unos pasos hacia atrás hasta el restaurante cubierto donde el menú es bastante grande y variado, a un precio razonable y la comida siempre deliciosa. El servicio es siempre amable, eficiente y atento. Al final del día el transporte de Dominic nos lleva de vuelta a nuestro hotel. Gracias a Dominic y a todo el equipo por otra maravillosa visita de varios días!

13/09/2024: Gran experiencia en la playa. La Caracalla nos recogió con su lanzadera y nos llevó al club de playa. Incluido en nuestro precio era el servicio de transporte, 2 sillas y una sombrilla. La playa estaba limpia y el mar claro. Tuvimos un almuerzo fabuloso en el restaurante y el propietario nos organizó un viaje en barco por la zona. Muy recomendable.

15/02/2025: We chose Macchianera for Valentine's Day dinner, trusting in the quality of the service and cuisine that we had always appreciated in our previous visits. However, this evening's experience proved to be significantly below expectations. The order was taken within an acceptable time, but the wait for the first courses was excessively long, even though they were the same for both. This delay is in no way justifiable by the confusion in the room, considering the standard of the venue and the price paid. Furthermore, the staff appeared distracted and did not pay attention to details, further compromising the quality of the service. In the past, I remembered a clearly superior care in the explanation of the dishes, with an attentive and precise service, capable of enhancing the gastronomic experience. This evening, unfortunately, this was not the case: the presentation was summary, lacking the professionalism that makes a dinner special. The kitchen, which on other occasions had stood out for its care and attention in preparations, did not shine this evening. Although the raw materials were of good quality, the dishes arrived with considerable delay and without the attention to detail that we expected. Paying 70 euros each implies impeccable service and a top-quality dinner, but unfortunately this was not the case. Despite having had much better experiences in the past, this dinner left us dissatisfied. The place has always maintained a certain standard, but this time we can't say the same. We hope it was an isolated incident, but under these conditions, we don't think we want to return.

08/03/2025: Ho acquistato una pizza famiglia bigusto, Pizza molto buona cotta veramente bene nel forno a legna,unica pecca che mi aspettavo potessero mangiare almeno 4 adulti ma a malapena basta per 3! A parte questo devo dire che il personale giovane è molto gentile tutti cordiali e disponibili nel dare informazioni. Pizzeria a vista e nonostante i pizzaioli molto indaffarati riescono a capire le esigenze dell’asporto e a chiarire ogni dubbio ci tornerò sicuramente a mangiare lì

12/11/2024: Whilst a very similar menu to all the other restaurants nearby we quite liked this place. Its hard to find quality restaurants in Giardina Naxos as most places have more of a a cafe like feel. I had a veal chop and partner fillet steak with porcini sauce. Whilst perfectly acceptable and tasty it did lack a little bit of finesse , guess I'm used to quality city restaurants, its nice to eat more rustically now and again and this fits the bill perfectly !

18/09/2024: Sehr gut besuchtes Lokal in italienisch/sizilianischen Stil. Freundlicher Service, und sehr gutes Essen. Die Portionen sind absolut ok. Die Involtini di melanzane (Auberginen-Röllchen) sind ein Kracher. Für den roten Hauswein gibts von mir leichten Abzug, aber das ist mein subjektiver Eindruck. Die Bestuhlung ist eng, entsprechend hoch ist der Lärmpegel, aber hey… wir sind hier im tiefen Süden. Alles in allen war wir sehr zufrieden

16/11/2024: Palermo aveva bisogno del ritorno “a casa” del Charleston, nel cuore del centro città dove i ristoranti di questo livello si contano sulle dita di una mano. La nuova sede dell’ex bar Mazzara è elegantissima e la cucina è straordinaria, frutto degli studi dello chef Verde che si percepiscono in ogni piatto. Continuando così è certo che arriveranno tantissimi riconoscimenti. Ma la cosa più gradita del nuovo Charleston è l’incredibile clima, una coccola per il cliente: si respira davvero l’affiatamento tra tutti i componenti dello staff e da un ambiente del genere non possono che nascere cose altrettanto belle.

02/03/2025: Pizzas are excellent mostly takeaway but they have a small 2 person table inside really fast service you can watch them make your pizza there is a fridge with beers coke etc extremely good value and great service

23/02/2025: Even though they had given them the arrival time of the pizzas, in fact I would have preferred to receive them much earlier, they still managed to arrive 47 minutes late. The pizzas, certainly very large, were however not up to the 5 star rating: barely warm, few vegetables and not gratinated (raw). I don't recommend it.

05/01/2025: Nos alojamos en la exquisita ciudad de Taormina, y deambulamos por allí. El chef es excelente, y la comida fue realmente memorable. ¡La pieza de resistencia fue el mejor cannoli siciliano que hemos probado! Fue una revelación y estableció un estándar al que nunca se podrá volver a acercar.

01/01/2025: Excelente restaurante en el centro de Taormina. La comida deliciosa, tanto los entrantes (probamos el pulpo que estaba delicioso). La pasta, el pescado y las carnes espectaculares. Los postres deliciosos. El servicio excelente y el ambiente tranquilo. Muy recomendable.

05/04/2025: Fuimos a Catania en febrero, queríamos encontrar un "pub", ¡la búsqueda en Google se nos ocurrió The Boozer! Probablemente necesitarás Google Maps para encontrar The Boozer. ¡Qué gran pub! Los chicos que dirigen el pub son muy acogedores. Fuimos allí todas las noches de nuestras vacaciones. Llamaron a un taxi cada noche para que volviéramos a nuestro hotel. Estuvimos allí para el partido de rugby Inglaterra Francia 6 naciones, ambiente brillante. Si volvemos a Catania, iremos a "¡El borracho!

29/03/2025: The British Boozer in Catania is a fantastic spot for watching European football, with a great atmosphere and a welcoming crowd. I spent an evening there watching back-to-back matches, and it was an unforgettable experience. First up was Roma’s away game against Athletic Bilbao. Unfortunately for the local Roma supporters, the result didn’t go their way, but the atmosphere was still fantastic, with plenty of passionate fans creating a lively setting. Next was Tottenham Hotspur against AZ Alkmaar, and what a game it was! Spurs put on a brilliant performance, winning 3-1 to go through. The energy in the pub ramped up as the goals went in, making for an exciting night of football. With big screens, a solid beer selection, and a mix of dedicated fans, The British Boozer is a top choice for watching live football in Catania. Highly recommended!

30/12/2024: Abbiamo partecipato ad un banchetto di matrimonio tenutosi presso questa struttura. La Villa è carina e ben tenuta e dotata di comodo parcheggio per gli ospiti. Cibo buono, personale gentilissimo e professionale. Matrimonio riuscito veramente bene.

04/01/2025: Melhores de Palermo. Atendimento extremamente gentil pelo dono e pelos funcionários do restaurante. Ambiente muito acolhedor. Cadeiras basicamente boas Pratos deliciosas e na medida certa Carta de vinhos excelentes. Vale a pena voltar 👍👍👍
