05/05/2026: If you like standard Sicilian food served in large portions don’t go here! If you want something a bit different from the run of the mill restaurants, fantastic combinations of flavours and a fine dining experience you must go to this restaurant. The whole experience was wonderful, the service was superb, the presentation of the food a work of art. Can’t recommend it enough, the best restaurant I have been to in Taormina.

Highly recommended for an aperitif while watching a breathtaking sunset or for a top-notch dinner. As the sun sets, you can dine while admiring the moon, and for those with a keen eye, you can even see the planets Jupiter and Venus, shining like two stars. 16/05/2026: It was recommended by our local host, Isabella. Casa Niclodi was easily the best meal of our entire trip—we’re still talking about it days later. Every dish was incredible, and you can really feel the care behind the food. The service made it even better—so warm, genuine, and attentive without being over the top. It just felt special from start to finish. Don’t miss this place.

08/09/2025: I ate excellent raw ham, although the portion was certainly not large. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The only flaw is that the restaurant isn't air-conditioned.

29/04/2026: Unfortunately, I can only give one star. For me, this is a tourist trap. Having to pay €25 for a glass of wine? The waiter should have warned us. I had three glasses and it cost €75 – outrageous! I've been traveling in Italy for weeks and have never paid more than €25 to €75 for a bottle of very good wine. The only positive thing is that the food was good.

02/05/2026: The best restaurant in Taormina, with exceptionally friendly service, a homey atmosphere, delicious food, and fresh fish—not so easy to find on this island. We're going back tomorrow. Plus, the view of Mount Etna—wonderful! I hope there are more places like this!

28/11/2025: Beautiful setting and super romantic. Food was delicious and staff were lovely. Portions are small so marked down for that in terms of value for money. Marked down on service as was charged an additional €30 for a bottle of wine we did not order. Did not notice until we got back to the hotel as we were in a rush to pay because it started to rain and we were outside! With that being said I would go again, without the kids and make sure I check the bill properly next time! The outdoor terrace is truly stunning.

23/10/2025: This restaurant may as well be one of the best places I’ve ever had dinner. We found it online and decided to check it out spontaneously, and just wow. The garden is beautiful, with several citrus trees. Super romantic atmosphere. All the staff has specific roles, so the sommelier only does take wine orders, the waitresses only bring food and take away empty plates or refill empty glasses and there are separate people for taking food orders or bringing out the bill. Although it might feel a bit slow (reading some of the other comments), there definitely is a system in place that works well. And then the food… eating a variety of vegetarian food has been difficult in Sicily. Not at this restaurant; they have an amazing selection of high quality vegetarian food. Probably the best vegetarian food we’ve ever had. We started with a delicious burrata and tomatoes, then lemon linguini, fried artichoke and shared two desserts. We did not have any wine, just two bottles of water and I was surprised with how low the bill was for the amazing quality of food. Feels like dining in a Michelin setting, but for a super reasonable price. Thank you to the staff for this amazing experience!

The staff was impeccable: attentive yet discreet, professional, and incredibly flexible with our every request. The food received compliments from all our guests. 10/05/2026: Today I attended my cousins ​​Esther and Ginevra's first communion... everything was impeccable... from the location to the food. Aesthetically beautiful, very welcoming and well-maintained. Polite, kind, and helpful staff. The welcome and dessert buffet was well-presented, allowing all guests to enjoy everything without having to assemble. Special praise to the chef... the food was light... well-cooked, tasty, and beautifully presented. Compliments for everything.

29/05/2026: We ate as a group here, after California’s Mayflower Chorus sang with other Folk Groups in Sicily’s International Folk Festival, The Flamingo Ristorante provided innumerable courses of fresh and grilled seafood, which were graciously heaped upon us.
