Ristorante Giardinetto In Pettenasco

Spent a week there. Can't fault it. Had a great time.

Last night we had dinner at the Giardinetto restaurant in Pettenasco. It was offered by my dear nephews. The location was magnificent, the staff were very kind and knowledgeable. We chose the exceptional lake menu. It was a magnificent evening.

Excellent location, excellent service. Quiet, clean, and comfortable rooms.

Rooftop nice place and perfect drinks

Hotel in Pettenasco, a few kilometers away, we have Orta, a small and very characteristic village. The view from the hotel is fantastic. The interiors are really well-finished to welcome the guest. On one wall, you can admire the history of the growth of this magnificent hotel. The growth has been exponential. We didn't stay inside the hotel but we were able to have lunch and dinner inside by booking a little in advance. The tables are made of marble, the chairs are very comfortable, the meson place found on the tables is very well-kept and attentive. The staff, from the reception to the bar and then in the dining room, are all very kind and make you feel truly pampered. We enjoyed the 4-course tasting menu and we also chose to have the wine pairing for each course. What can I say? It was all delicious and carefully prepared. We were also served a welcome by the chef before continuing with our 4 courses. The flavor of each course was balanced and the wine pairing with the courses was magnificent. The wines that were proposed to us accompanied the course well and highlighted the flavor of the dish. I will definitely come back to visit you, thanks again.

I've been there three times in three different settings, and each time has been a great experience. The breakfast and lunches are stellar, and the lake view is unbeatable. Excellent value for money. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. My only complaint is the long tablecloths used in the dining room; they tend to be risky, potentially causing trips and falls.

Light and shadow If you spend a little more and book a room with a view, you're relatively safe from the biggest problem, the road traffic. However, you can't escape the lack of soundproofing in the rooftop bar. We had a room on the second floor. It's not much better on the first floor; the noise from events comes from below. On the plus side, the ferry dock for Orta is nearby. It's inexpensive, and you can see a lot. The restaurant in the Giradetto is good, as is the service, and the same goes for the service in the rooftop bar. The rooms and the balcony are okay, but the TV with German channels mostly didn't work.

I've started coming back, I changed chefs a couple of years ago, so keep it up! I recommend aperitifs on the terrace and dinner. Congratulations!!!
