We had lunch there and with the white truffle menu. The food was delicious. amazing. Chef was super nice. The environment is cozy and comfortable. The egg dish was so good. It’s the best egg I have ever had It’s the highlight of our trip. Sunset was beautiful.

Beautiful place Very kind and helpful staff Very nice room, the bathroom could perhaps be freshened up a bit. But it was all very nice and clean. Dinner was incredibly good. Perfect weekend

Very friendly welcome on the heights of Pilone. Set with swimming pool very nicely located a few kilometers from Alba. Room a little small and somewhat outdated with bathroom also no longer up to date. Slightly overpriced price with seasonal supplement for the truffle fair... which was closed during the week! High quality evening meal

We had dinner at the restaurant and the expectations were high due to the one star and the are of Alba. The service was extremely good and the staff were very knowledgeable. All question about wine and food was answered professionally. The food and the selected wines was a perfect match. The the food was made with lots off love. Not all dishes was according to our taste however just seeing the creation at the plate made us satisfied. We really recommend both the restaurant and staying at the hotel. We will come back next year

Hotel dans les vignes à 10 minutes d Alba. Les plus : hotel au calme, beau panorama, vieille batisse, bon petit déjeuner, accueil sympa et réception très serviable. Les moins : chambres pas jolies (restées identiques aux années 60, sans exagerer), lit très petit (pour une chambre a 200 euro), on entend tout ce qui se passe chez les voisins.

Très bel endroit!! Idéale pour un séjour en amoureux, le cadre et la vue sont incroyables! Petit déjeuner avec de bons produits et un service aux petits soins! Le restaurant gastronomique est une pure merveille également, de la finesse avec la générosité italienne 😋 nous y retournerons!

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in Locanda del Pillone. Im Voraus haben wir eine Weindegustation gebucht, welche auf unseren Wunsch ausnahmsweise direkt im charmanten Weinkeller des Hotels und nicht in den Barolokellern stattfand. Der Sommelier Dario hat uns durch die Boroliweine geführt. Er ist sehr kompentent und macht seine Arbeit mit grosser Leidenschaft. Mit einer Karte hat er uns das Barologebiet erklärt und die Herkunft der verschiedenen Weine erläutert. Eine solche Weindegustation ist jedem zu empfehlen, da es sich nicht lediglich um eine kommerzielle Degustation handelte, sondern Dario uns zudem einen tiefen Einblick in das Gebiet und die Weintradition vermittelte. Am Abend genossen wir ein ausgezeichnetes Nachtessen mit 6 Gängen. Der Koch ist absolute Spitze und der Michelinstern ist mehr als wohlverdient. Die Süsswasserfische waren einzigartig und sehr fein zubereitet. Auch das Dessert überzeugte mit seiner geschmacklichen Vielfalt. Dazu führte uns der Sommelier Dario auch mit sehr passendem Wein durch das Menu. Das ganze Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer ist ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen, hat aber alles was man braucht. Wir würden erneut im Locanda del Pillone einen Aufenthalt machen.
