14/05/2025: Intimate, typical trattoria-style place near the center of Volvera. Really good food. With honest prices considering the times we live in. I was really satisfied especially with how I ate, typical home cooking. I will definitely go back. Very kind and cheerful staff.

14/06/2025: Sono partito apposta da Asti in moto per provare la “spaghettoteca” … il servizio è apprezzabile ma disattento infatti mi han portato gli spaghetti alle vongole veraci con il pomodoro dopo che mi erano stati suggeriti in bianco ma me li hanno sostituiti…. Veniamo al piatto, la pasta è precotta (male)e slegata dal condimento peccato perché le vongole in sé erano buone e fresche. Per quanto riguarda invece le penne all’arrabbiata beh un disastro non erano neanche piccanti ed erano più mezze maniche che penne. A voi l’ardua sentenza … io ci stendo un velo pietoso e non ci tornerò più di sicuro

13/05/2025: De vuelta a esta joya después de unos meses, y una vez más, la cena fue absolutamente excepcional. Cada plato estaba lleno de sabor, bellamente preparado y simplemente delicioso. El ambiente es tranquilo, moderno y acogedor, perfecto para una noche relajada. Como en visitas anteriores, el servicio fue excelente: amable, profesional, y atento sin ser intrusivo. Este es manos abajo nuestro restaurante favorito en la zona, y seguimos volviendo.  ¡Un verdadero sobresaliente!

13/05/2025: Our Favorite Spot – Consistently Outstanding Back at this gem after a few months — and once again, the dinner was absolutely outstanding. Every dish was full of flavor, beautifully prepared, and simply delicious. The ambience is calm, modern, and welcoming — perfect for a relaxed evening out. As on previous visits, the service was excellent: friendly, professional, and attentive without being intrusive. This is hands down our favorite restaurant in the area, and we keep coming back. A true standout!

16/06/2025: Friendliness, Hospitality, kindness, excellent service and beautiful location. A limited menu, too imaginative and of poor quality. Combinations from the penal code; lamb with cocoa and gianduia. Unspeakable.

29/05/2025: Aperitif without snacks , even though we asked 4 times- a first in Italy. The starter arrrived at the same time as the ‘canape’/amise bouche’. the starter was expensive and mediocre. Now waiting patiently for the main course - 30 minutes ? Don’t waste your time nor money. First bad meal in Italy in the few weeks we have been here.

21/06/2025: An unforgettable anniversary (unfortunately)!!! As Piedmontese, despite never having heard of this restaurant, we chose it to celebrate our anniversary, intrigued by the location and the menu offered, at the not inconsiderable cost of €70 per person. When booking, I kindly requested a table a little more refined for the occasion and reported my pregnancy, with related dietary restrictions (no meat, fish or raw eggs). I was assured that an ad hoc menu and a “special” table would be prepared. Upon our arrival, we discovered that the special table had... evaporated. No special preparation, we were asked to choose from the few remaining tables, including those exposed to a half-sun on the terrace with umbrellas. We opted for the veranda, on a scorching day, where – despite the presence of air conditioning – it was never turned on. The heat was a recurring theme among the other guests, but the response we received was that “even the staff suffered with us”. A nice gesture of solidarity, of course, but not exactly what one expects during a lunch costing over €140. The courses arrived with very long waits between one and the other - about 40/45 minutes - even though the menu was already defined. Understandable, perhaps, in case of unforeseen events. Less understandable if it is a tasting menu managed by the chef himself and already communicated in advance. Even though I had reiterated my dietary needs related to pregnancy both during the booking phase and upon arrival, I found myself forced to send back four out of five dishes because they contained precisely those ingredients that I had asked to avoid. The most curious substitution was that of the raw meat tartare with... boiled fennel covered in béarnaise sauce (with raw egg included which, at that point, I made my husband eat so as not to send back yet another dish). A substitution that was not only questionable in terms of nutrition and taste, but also not exactly comparable in terms of cost - too bad the price remained the same. Even the dessert was no exception, served with a Marsala sauce. Perhaps in the belief that alcohol, when sweet, is less valuable? In terms of taste, the intent to offer creative and unconventional cuisine is evident, but the balance between innovation and harmony in flavors seemed to be lacking at times. Forced combinations, inadequate consistencies, and a certain tendency to want to amaze at all costs, even at the expense of the pleasantness of the dish. Visually, however, everything seemed excellent, as in the photos that we had also seen from previous reviews and that convinced us to try this place. The final bill also included a second glass of wine that we had never ordered, promptly removed upon our report. A small mistake, which however adds to an overall experience that was poorly cared for and, frankly, disappointing. A lunch that cost us time, money and memorable sweat, but which left us with the certainty that – at least for us – it will be a unique experience. And unrepeatable

19/06/2025: 3 days in Northern Italy Italian Lakes! We had the absolute best service from Lucia a young lady getting ready to graduate from the university! She was helpful in us choosing our wine selection, as well as food choices. She was always ready to fill our wine glasses. Extremely attentive and friendly. The food is amazing! Perch raviolis, Spaghetti with clams & mussels, started with a shared vegetable crudities with a raspberry vinaigrette and the best Tiramisu for dessert! 5 Stars! 24/06/2025: For our family, this restaurant is much more than a place where you eat well: it is home. For countless years we have shared moments of celebration with them, important memories and dinners where we have always found quality, hospitality and authentic flavours. We have celebrated all the most significant events in our lives there, and for our wedding we could only rely on them for the catering. They were able to tell our story also through flavours, making our moment even more special. It is not just cooking, it is emotion. The dishes enchanted us and all the guests, who still compliment us today. It is rare to find so much care and passion in everything. But the wonderful thing is that it is not just about events: every evening, thanks to their gastronomy service, we can take home a little piece of their cuisine. Delicious, genuine ready-made dishes that smell of home and make you feel pampered even on a simple weekday evening. Those who are lucky enough to discover them once, never leave them again. Because here we eat with our hearts, and we always come back for love.

17/06/2025: The experience of tonight has been bad. We were a table of 14 people. We arrived between 20:00h to 20:30h. The restaurant was half empty at that moment. Until past 21:10h they didn't come for the ordrers. We ordered few starters (cold dishes) that arrived around 21:30h. At 22:10h, the main dishes were not yet at the table when, in the meanwhile, other tables that arrived at the same hour had finished, gone, and the next clients sitting and being attended on that tables. Others that arrived later than us, on the desserts. The worst part comes when I went to the waiter (the girl with the piercing in the nose) and politely asked how long would it take for the dishes. Her face was like she didn't understanding me, so I replied we arrived more than 2 hours ago and we are waiting for the main dishes. Serously, her: "You have been brought the starters". You have to wait. -Yes, but 1 hour after we ordered. - You have to wait. - But now it's been 2 hours we arrived... - (from behind the screen, without looking at me): You have to wait. - I am just trying to say in a positive way that we are waiting. - The restaurant is full, you have to wait. - Do not take it as a personal offense, I just wanted to let you know that we are waiting... Then, she stopped attending our table. The other girl forgot my desert -which is not a problem, this can happen, but when you have been treated in a disgusting way before and you already do not feel confortable the experience gets worse easily-. Finally, the price was 43€ per person -expensove for what it was-. We ordered 3-4 shared starters, wine (not a speficic one) and one dish and desert per person. The food was nice. If I pay this amunt of money, I expect more than nice food. Some of our col·legues had to leave the dinner before we finished because it became late. We left the restaurant later than 23:30h, being the last table of the restaurant. And we did it just after the last deserts were eaten. Finally, my italian colleague asked the waiter about the situation. And I perfectly could understand the justification she gave to her: "the pasta needs time" and "it was a language misunderstanding". Honestly, you don't need an English proficiency level to understand a behavior, a voice tone, a non verbal language... a polite person. Bad experience.

21/06/2025: Our friend is a regular lunch client and chose to meet us there. Friendly owner and service. They had a simple lunch menu (11-14€) that included a drink and coffee. It looked like octopus was regularly proposed as an option for the day. Bright dining hall and heard they had good pizzas too.

14/06/2025: We went to the restaurant for our anniversary. Clean tram, super friendly staff, very good food and wines. Although the experience was very nice, I recommend doing it in the not too hot months because the tram is without air conditioning.

Recommended by the nearby hotel where we stayed, my wife and I were welcomed very cordially by a group of young people, very competent, prepared and smiling, which is not a given. The place is original and the menu is very rich and with various combination possibilities. A wide choice of good wines. Dear guys, we will definitely see each other again.
