14/09/2025: The name "La Casina" is truly fitting because it truly makes you feel at home. The owner exceeded our expectations: extremely kind, humble, and incredibly helpful. We'd love to return to that day to enjoy the excellent, high-quality food and the perfect portions. All our guests were very satisfied, including the simplicity and elegance of the room. Congratulations to the entire Casina Rossa staff for their dedication. You gave us an unforgettable day. 🥹❤️ I recommend it to all couples who want to give their guests an unforgettable experience!

09/07/2025: I learned they were under new management in 2025, and I contacted them for my baby's baptism. It was a resounding success; there's plenty of space for children, and even though there were a lot of us, they put us in one bright, spacious room. Special thanks to the chef, who created delicious dishes, even for the vegan guests. The welcome aperitif on the veranda was delicious and original. A heartfelt thanks to Hakam for his hospitality; we were very satisfied.

13/10/2025: bellissimo and perfecto! Loved my experience here, it was my last day of my holidays and I have travelled from north to south of Italy. Here I found my little paradise. Food was generous and delicious! The location is brilliant as it's just off the beaten track where you can really appreciate the beautiful of the area without the crazy crowds! The staff are very helpful and friendly, I want them to be popular but not too much as I really enjoyed how chilled atmosphere it was here. Missing this little paradise and looking forward to returning to try other dishes. Grazie mille! 🙏🏽💕

12/04/2025: Peccato che abbiamo scoperto questo locale a fine stagione invernale. La struttura è calda ed accogliente, arredata con stile montagna. Il menù è diversificato e soprattutto ben cucinato. Ottimi gli gnocchi ai formaggi e la girella di plin. Buona la pizza, così come i dolci. Proprietari e staff estremamente gentili e sorridenti. Difficili riscontrare tanta qualità e gentilezza in alta montagna! La prossima stagione ci recheremo spesso. CONSIGLIATO

14/10/2025: Very nice atmosphere with a beautiful open view of the lake. I'd say the value for money is okay given the location. For two people, including an appetizer and a main course, we spent about €40 per person.

14/09/2025: We easily booked for a Saturday night dinner, with options available for those with food intolerances. We had pizza and a rib-eye steak with baked potatoes, all very good and excellent value. Perfect service, the location could use a bit of a makeover, but we highly recommend it. We'll be back.

03/10/2025: Takeout was easy after a quick phone call. We had pizza and pasta, and we absolutely loved it. The staff was very friendly, and communication in English wasn't a problem either. The atmosphere is lovely :)

22/09/2025: The restaurant is open year-round. Special events are available here. The food is delicious, with attention to detail. The house wine is also delicious. The prices are truly attractive. The Polish waitress carries the entire service on her shoulders! Exceptionally friendly and professional. We'll gladly return for a good dinner 🙂

24/10/2025: I visited this lovely trattoria a few weeks ago. It's small but very welcoming, as are all the friendly and smiling staff. Unfortunately, since I don't eat fish, I found a great alternative. The service is attentive and always attentive. If you're looking for a casual yet warm place with excellent cuisine in a seaside setting, this is the place for you.

06/10/2025: Historic inn in Brescia's historic center. The interior is very quaint, but poorly lit. We went with a large group, opting for a set menu in advance. The appetizer arrived more than 30 minutes after we were seated and was finished after an hour and a half (and not because of the abundance of servings). The first and second courses arrived practically at the same time, an hour after the appetizer was finished. The quality of the food was poor and the portions tiny. The appetizer was terrible: supermarket-quality gnocchi and wild boar that tasted like chicken curry. They even managed to make the polenta bad, and I highly doubt it was from Storo, as they indicated. The desserts (which I'm not particularly fond of) were the best and most abundant course.

18/10/2025: Carbonara followed by Tiramisu for our whole group. Carbonara was a little over cooked but not too bad. Tiramisu was excellent. Quite a nice spot sat out on the square

01/11/2025: We were here at the end of October. The shop was quite run down, a bit of a shame as there were still a lot of guests. Playroom for the children closed unfortunately. The pool was not heated, certainly nice in the summer. But in the autumn it was too cold to swim. We had a sea view patio, nice view, but the terrace itself was in pretty bad condition. It leans quite a bit, probably needs to be renovated or rebuilt. Otherwise nice campsite. Clean and nice. Nice staff. Easy bus about 600 meters from the campsite to the center of Livorno. A bit expensive for low season considering that a lot was closed and the selection in the shop was pretty crap. Could have halved the price for the campsite in the autumn. We paid about 500 euros for 6 nights.

21/10/2025: The site has very small pitches, which was a challenge with our camper (Grand California). We found the sanitary facilities very poor. The water didn't drain from the showers, the timed showers were 210 seconds per session, and the cleanliness was only superficial. The toilets definitely need an update. Therefore, only a 2 star rating. Location: Located directly on the Mediterranean Sea but very rocky, which we didn't find a problem, but you should be aware that there is no sandy beach. It's also located directly next to a highway and railway line, making it very noisy at night. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They only accept reservations for pitches for 5 days or more. So you have to hope for luck that you get a spot if you only want to stay 1 or 2 days. We had to book an extra electricity package (€4 per day) to operate an air fryer. The ADAC says it's 4 stars, but unfortunately, we can't confirm this. Location: 3 stars, sanitary facilities 1 star, electricity only 500kW, 2 stars. Staff: 4 stars. We didn't visit the pool or restaurant.

05/10/2025: Well-located hotel The staff is very pleasant and polite, especially the breakfast server. A small balcony would have been welcome.

29/09/2025: A high price for a standard, old-fashioned, but charmless city-center hotel. Staff unfriendly, jaded, and unmotivated. The terrace is unusable in the evening due to an extremely noisy outdoor fan. Disappointing value for money.

23/06/2025: Totally a rare find, we lived across the street and the “other” seafood restaurant was full so we walked into this joint for alternative late dinner. Little do we know, we were surprised by the place, the quality of the food, reasonable price, super friendly (and pretty) service by Tonya n her chefs, and even the little things like the quality and cleanliness of the toilet impressed me so much! Especially in Italy, good toilets are hard to see. All in all we had such a great time that we had to go again on our last day before we fly off, had another awesome dinner time with good wine recommendations! Please give this restaurant a good try, u will love it!

13/09/2025: Unfortunately, the service was totally disappointing. We arrived at 7:20 p.m., it was raining today, and we wanted to sit inside. The waiter quickly checked his notes and said there were no more seats inside, everything was reserved, and the only space available was outside under a canopy. The room inside was completely empty at that time. He did nothing—zero effort, for example, to check if a seat was available until 9:00 p.m. It was possible to get one next door without any problems, even without a reservation. What a shame. A very inhospitable experience.

21/08/2025: Stunning location, perfect service... It's just a shame that the fried calamari, 10 meters from the sea, was frozen and of terrible quality... a shame, a real shame 😰
