Our family spent three nights at the campsite.
We initially booked a medium-sized pitch, but it was no longer available.
We were then offered an alternative pitch – Campino.
This pitch accommodates three motorhomes. We were initially a bit skeptical, but the site is right by the sea and relatively quiet, as it's set back from the road and the pool.
The communication before booking was excellent and quick.
We were really lucky and shared the pitch with very quiet guests.
The access road is a bit narrow, but easily navigable; we were traveling in a 7.5m x 2.3m motorhome.
The site is located directly on the coast. The beach is a narrow, stony stretch, but well-maintained and beautiful – especially in the evenings.
We were there for the weekend.
Be aware that this section of the beach is used by locals and can get quite crowded when the weather is nice. I think that's the case everywhere, unless they're private sections belonging to a campsite.
The pool is also used by non-campers. Visitors who aren't staying at the campsite can buy day tickets and use the pool. Since the pool isn't very big, it was quite crowded and noisy on the weekend – so we unfortunately avoided that area.
Overall, we would come back.
The sanitary facilities are well-maintained, clean, and modern.
The shower time is limited to 210 seconds. However, you can time it, and it was perfectly sufficient for my daughter and me.

Dog-friendly. The only downside is that you have to pay extra for the sun loungers at this price!

A truly fantastic campsite. A really beautiful spot 🌎
Very friendly and helpful staff. Everyone tried their best to speak German/English and fulfill my requests 😁 My special thanks go to Alexandra.
The campsite has a well-stocked supermarket, the draft red wine was delicious 😋, the vegetables were great, and there's a restaurant.
Thanks to everyone 😁

First off, in short: Great campsite! Shady pitches, very clean and well-maintained, very friendly staff! Superb mini-market, great amenities, a good base for excursions to Lucca, Pisa, etc.
The front rows (I think these are the standard pitches) are right next to the road, albeit behind a wall, but it's quite noisy there during the day due to the traffic (only there; the rest of the campsite was idyllic and quiet). It's fine at night, though; we got used to it and eventually it didn't bother us at all (besides, you should really be exploring the beautiful area and being on the beach during the day 😎). On the plus side, the pitches are wonderfully shady and surrounded by hedges, so you don't have your neighbors right in front of you. We also booked at the very last minute and were very happy with this campsite, so we have absolutely no complaints.
There are several barbecue areas; you can borrow a large grill grate from reception, but you have to bring your own charcoal. And definitely bring mosquito repellent 😅.
The beach is pebbly, and there are larger rocks and many sea urchins in the water, so sturdy water shoes are essential. With proper footwear, it's excellent for swimming, bathing, or paddling around with a submarine. It's also great for snorkeling; we saw lots of colorful fish. (If you prefer a sandy beach, you'll have to drive about half an hour further. There you'll find a wonderful white sand beach with turquoise Caribbean water. This is due to the nearby soda factory, but we didn't experience any symptoms of poisoning 😅.) The pool looked very nice and was also very well-maintained, but we didn't use it at all because the sea is so beautiful.
The sanitary facilities are cleaned several times a day; if they happen to be dirty, it's due to careless guests, not the campground!
On the other side of the road (just outside the campground), there's a small, fenced dog park with agility equipment. They're certainly not for professional use, but they're perfectly adequate for a quick play session, even for a large dog. Not many campsites offer this, and I really appreciated it! (If there's any mess because some dog owners don't clean up after their pets, that's not the campsite's fault.) There's even a water hydrant and a permanently installed water bowl (outside the fenced area, by the hedge towards the road).
The pizza at the restaurant was delicious, and you can even take your food to the beach and enjoy the beautiful sunset while you eat.
We'd love to come back; our dog, our three children, and we adults all felt very comfortable!

The campsite is well-maintained. The bathrooms are always clean, with paper towels always available, hand soap, and clean, working showers (you need a card).
The pebble beach is only 30 meters away; you can rent loungers and umbrellas or just sit wherever you find space.
The food at the restaurant is excellent!!! The pizza is really good, as are the fish and fried fish entrees; we were very impressed. The pool is open all day; the only downside (at least for me) is that if you want a lounger with an umbrella, you have to pay for it. The same goes for the more comfortable accommodations (loungers with mattresses cost €20).
Otherwise, the campsite is well-shaded; we stayed really cool on very hot days without suffering from the heat because the pitches are under large trees. There's no entertainment, nor evening entertainment, but we personally didn't mind at all.
The reception staff were very kind in finding us a place to stay an extra night even though it was practically full.
We had a really good time.

What a fantastic campsite! I've never seen such clean toilets and sanitary facilities. The location by the sea is a dream, the restaurant is great, reasonably priced, and delicious. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful.
We had five wonderful nights in our campervan; there was plenty of space and everything we needed.
We'll be back!

A campsite with its ups and downs. We were passing through for four days and had booked a pitch with a terrace months in advance. Instead, we were given pitch number 78. It was located in front of the sanitary facilities, was very noisy, and one of the smallest pitches. Our neighbors offered us their pitch, as they were leaving early and wouldn't receive a refund, and it was now free. When we approached reception, this wasn't initially a problem. That evening, we inquired again and were informed that the change wouldn't be possible until 8:00 AM the following morning. So, the next morning, we moved our motorhome out so our neighbors could leave, parked ours on the new pitch opposite, and went to reception, which opened with typical Italian punctuality. While waiting, we learned that reception had already allocated the pitch to other campers without our knowledge, with the same information: "Change possible from 8:00 AM." After a brief discussion with reception, things worked out well for us after all. However, we find it more than outrageous to simply offer the pitch to other campers without asking. Open communication should be a virtue. We were ultimately disappointed to find that the pitches were then charged twice – rather disheartening. Goodwill and the satisfaction of paying guests should be given more priority here. The terraced pitch itself is a highlight for every camper and we highly recommend it. For us, the price-performance ratio is excellent. The location of the campsite is perfect for exploring places like Pisa and Livorno, easily accessible by bus (tickets are available at reception) and a short walk. All in all, it was a very pleasant stay for us.

Campsite right on the beach! Stairs down and direct access to a pebble beach. Great for a one-night stopover. Friendly staff.
One downside: pitches 9 through 23 are located on a VERY busy road. You can hear the train loudly, and cars are constantly driving on the main road. You really suffer from this if you stay at these pitches. So, I would recommend the pitches by the beach. There are also a number of permanently inhabited caravans at these pitches; they look very run-down. Sunbeds at the pool and pebble beach have to be paid for.
A downside is that people (pitch 23) were already awake at 5:00, busy loading the caravan, and drove away at 5:45. Very noisy. The campsite really should have a policy that people cannot leave before a certain time to ensure the peace and quiet of other people.

I would recommend the campsite. However, not every pitch is advisable. The pitches with sea views are wonderful. Unfortunately, we didn't manage to get one. Our pitch, number 103, was really unacceptable. The cars of the mobile home occupants have to load and unload right in front of it. They often leave their engines running while doing so.
The pool is very clean, although it is very strictly supervised. You are only allowed to use the rented sun loungers at the edge.
There are plenty of showers, and three minutes is perfectly sufficient.
The view of the sea at sunset is unique.
We hardly used the restaurant. You absolutely need a reservation.
