12/08/2025: We visited this restaurant with high expectations, thanks to the meticulously presented, almost gourmet-style dishes. Unfortunately, the aesthetics weren't enough to save the dining experience. We ordered spaghetti allo scoglio, but the dish was deeply disappointing: bland flavor, lacking character, and a sauce that was far too reminiscent of frozen supermarket sauce. It had nothing to do with the freshness and complexity a seafood first course should offer. Also noteworthy was the wait: despite the extremely kind and professional wait staff, we had to wait almost an hour for our first course. This is a difficult wait to justify, especially considering the final quality of the food. A real shame, because the service is undoubtedly the restaurant's strong point. With more attention in the kitchen—both in the choice of ingredients and in managing the time—this restaurant could truly take a leap forward.

02/08/2025: A quiet little place with a friendly owner. Super fresh fish. The €35 menu with six appetizers and a choice of first or second course is recommended. We chose the Carloforte bluefin tuna, which was truly special. Highly recommended.

04/06/2025: A truly worthwhile excursion! Starting with the Hochmuth lift, you'll enjoy spectacular views of Merano and the Etschtal Valley along the way. From the mountain station, a beautiful, approximately 25-minute hiking trail leads to the Talbauer – easy and well-signposted. Once you arrive at the Talbauer, you'll be greeted with warm hospitality and fantastic South Tyrolean cuisine. The dumplings are a particular highlight – fresh, homemade, and simply delicious. The service was also attentive, quick, and extremely friendly. After refreshments, you'll leisurely continue the approximately 3 km return journey to the valley station, accompanied by stunning panoramas. Conclusion: A perfect half-day excursion with guaranteed enjoyment – ​​nature, good food, and great people. Highly recommended!

23/06/2025: As always I am writing a very detailed review also because I really enjoyed this place. It was my birthday on 06.21.2025, and we went for lunch. We booked. We were greeted by the staff with great kindness and made to sit on the patio with a beautiful view of the sea, and lots of fresh air, the table was set very elegantly, as soon as the waiter arrived, very nice and kind, he took our order. I must say that everything arrived very quickly... we chose: spaghetti with clams, rating 8 with so many clams that the dish was huge, risotto with scampi cream, rating 9, seafood gnocchi, rating 8. Then we tried two different types of cod on the advice of the waiter, I must say both were excellent... I have never tasted cod in those two ways... served with elegance and beauty, because even the eye wants its part, rating for the two cod dishes 10!!!. My daughter preferred a nice plate of scampi... excellent rating 8. Then the final treat was the sorbet.... very special because GREEN APPLE SORBET.... EXQUISITE!!! NEVER TRIED BEFORE.. A GEMS OF THIS PLACE! and finally... we hadn't brought the cake... and the owner Stefania sent us a cake just for us with a dedication that I have to say was excellent, rating 9. In short, everything was perfect. Everything was excellent. I absolutely have to go back! You can't go wrong because you eat really well here. Thanks to all the staff!

26/07/2025: A beautiful spot right on the cliffs! We spontaneously got a spot that we were able to extend. We just had to change pitches, but they kept getting nicer! We were so impressed with the place that we're immediately thinking about when we'll go there next!

Personale veloce e gentile tra l’altro siamo arrivati prima dell’apertura della cucina alle 1830 ma ci hanno subito proposto di sedersi e bere qualcosa nel frattempo. Bravi complimenti consigliato

25/07/2025: I understand we're in Italy and Italian is spoken, but if you speak English, they seem more engaged than if you speak Spanish. The food is good but insufficient. The waiters are unpleasant. For 40 euros, a dish and two beers seems incredibly expensive. They've seen us as foreigners.

When we were little more than children it was the restaurant that was the setting for parties, birthdays, ceremonies, anniversaries and all the big events of our family: days that saw us all gathered together around large tables. Costantino the innkeeper has always been a very funny and kind-hearted person who welcomes you, entertains you, and invites you to eat. The real secret of this place is to let him guide you without pretending to contradict his will. You will leave the table perhaps fuller and more tipsy than expected, but the culinary experience will be satisfying.
