14/08/2025: Il City Cafe si trova alla fine di via Dante. Non è molto grande ma si trova sulla strada pedonale. Questo piccolo ristorante ha prezzi accessibili e offre paninetti molto italiani! È anche possibile ordinare piatti di carne o pesce. Per dessert si può ovviamente prendere gelato o cappuccino!!

16/08/2025: Think of it as Zero Stars! There were nine of us, two of whom didn't order anything. This was enough to unleash the owner's ire, who asked them to leave in a rather questionable manner, saying, "If you don't order anything, you get up and leave. In my place, you follow my rules..." At which point we were forced to leave, all astonished, but above all disappointed, by the lack of professionalism the owner showed towards a group of young people, gesticulating rudely. Do you realize we're in 2025? Do you think hospitality in Calabria still deserves this embarrassment? You'll never see me again, nor my friends, nor anyone else to whom I will strongly advise against this place, ditto Nicastro. In response to the owner's comment: You should tell me if you've ever seen, in any other place, a group of twenty-five-year-olds order ONLY BOTTLES OF WATER! I wonder if the management license was granted by the Lamezia municipal administration or by the Marinella consortium. I'm shocked by your behavior that evening and your response to my review. Apparently, your customers are lying. Good work!

06/08/2025: Totally disappointed by the owner's unprofessional, questionable, and at times arrogant behavior. The way he treated us was insane, just because someone at the table decided not to order alcohol. But how do you do that in 2025?

08/09/2025: The best service I've ever received. Fernando is a wonderful person, very polite, very professional, and extremely grateful. He took excellent care of us during our stay in Pompeii. He explained how to make authentic limoncello, showed us the best tomatoes, and made us the best coffees. I encourage everyone to visit Pompeii without leaving Fernando's restaurant. He will be happy to serve you, along with his daughter Emilia, who is also a delight. Everything is top-quality and delicious. Fernando, if you're reading this, remember that you have a home here in Barcelona! A big hug, thank you for everything.

26/07/2025: DA EVITARE Esperienza terribile, personale scortese infastidito da qualsiasi richiesta dei clienti. Pasta senza sale sale, porzioni ridicole, abbiamo preso una porzione di calamari fritti del prezzo di 20 euro, dove ne hanno portato 4 contanti, una vergogna assoluta. Prezzi alti per la scarsa qualità del cibo e del servizio. Da evitare assolutamente

26/07/2025: Il personale è sembrato infastidito a delle semplici richieste (pane, cucchiaio, calice...), la qualità e freschezza del cibo è stata non ottima così come le quantità. Pessimo rapporto qualità-prezzo.

03/11/2025: We arrived with the intention of eating a nice, good pizza, but that wasn't quite the case. The service was efficient but not overly so for what we paid, the same was true for the food. Nothing to complain about the supplì, apart from the fact that they cost almost €5 each, but rather about the pizza, which in our opinion was also pre-cooked. The atmosphere was nice, but not the best here in Rome.

02/11/2025: Avoid at all costs! Street sellers will not stop bothering guests, staff does absolutely nothing. 20 EUR for 1 tea, cappuccino and a water. We’re really sorry we didn’t read reviews prior to sitting here. Do not make the same mistake as us.

08/04/2025: Un rifugio che unisce alla perfezione la genuinità della cucina di montagna con una vista mozzafiato. Il menù offre un’ampia scelta di piatti, tutti preparati con ingredienti freschi e di qualità, nel pieno rispetto della tradizione locale. Ogni portata racconta il territorio con sapori autentici e ben bilanciati, perfetti da gustare dopo una camminata o semplicemente per godersi un pranzo immersi nella natura. Il pranzo con vista sulle montagne rende l’esperienza ancora più speciale. Un luogo accogliente, dove si torna volentieri.

07/04/2025: Io e il mio ragazzo abbiamo pranzato al rifugio Viviani e ne siamo rimasti veramente entusiasti. Cibo ottimo, panorama mozzafiato e ragazzi super disponibili. Bellissima esperienza ci torneremo.

19/06/2025: Tuvimos los espaguetis nerano y carbonara de espagueti, ambos muy sabrosos y auténticos. El servicio era pobre, con el personal que se cruza con bastante grosero y tuvimos que perseguirlos por la ensalada que habíamos pedido. La vista y frente a la playa es una ventaja masiva.

04/06/2025: Una bellissima vista mare a pochi metri dalla spiaggia, prezzo leggermente alto a confronto ad altri ristoranti situati in zone di mare, ma qualità e quantità di prodotto di pesce a volontà, più pesce che pasta, veramente tanto a tal punto che non ho cenato la sera perché sazio e soddisfatto del pranzo

05/10/2025: Bar with restrooms and showers. For €10-15 you can get a sandwich and a beer. The place is right on the beach and convenient to beach services. For a fee, you can use the restroom or take hot showers. Sandwiches and beers are average.

19/09/2025: Shameful... presumption, arrogance. We stopped for a coffee and to see the beach and go to the restroom, but it was crazy. There was a foreigner at the entrance, since we paid. He was rude, grumpy, and arrogant. My wife and I asked for the restroom, and he addressed my wife, saying if she didn't pay, she couldn't come in, in an almost threatening manner. I told him I'd pay later, and he sneered at me, then he shouted at another man who had a stall right in front of the bar, giving him the finger and talking down to him. Such behavior in a public place is absurd.

19/07/2025: Una vera delusione per chi ama il crudo come me e sicuramente abituato a portate di ottimo livello . Presentare un piattino con 2 gamberi e 1 scampo con 3 carpaccini di ricciola spada e ombrina al prezzo di 28€ è un vero e proprio furto . Pagare un conto di 75 € a testa per un piatto di spaghetti al nero di seppia e uno spaghetto ai lupini di laguna è assolutamente una presa in giro . Ah dimenticavo per finire 2 palline di sorbetto e una porzione di tiramisù. 150€ spesi veramente male . Sconsiglio vivamente. Cibo: 1/5 | Servizio: 1/5 | Ambiente: 1/5

07/07/2025: Siamo stati in questo ristorante un sabato sera con un buon numero di amici, ma l’esperienza è stata tutt’altro che positiva. Appena arrivati, non ci è stato fornito alcun listino prezzi, lasciandoci completamente all’oscuro su cosa potessimo ordinare e sui costi. Il titolare ha deciso in gran parte lui, considerando solo in parte le nostre richieste: avevamo chiesto molto cotto o poco crudo, ma è arrivato metà crudo e metà cotto. Abbiamo potuto scegliere poco perché c’era gran poca scelta nelle sue proposte e cercava di imporre le sue decisioni. Gli antipasti erano semplici e poco saporiti, niente di speciale. Le cappelonghe erano pessime, tanto che nessuno le ha mangiate. L’unico primo che ci ha proposto era uno spaghettino, che nessuno ha preso, e lo stesso è successo con il secondo, una grigliata di pesce. Anche in questo caso avevamo chiesto determinate cose, ma il titolare ha fatto di testa sua. La grigliata era deludente: il branzino insapore e pieno di grasso, mentre la sogliola non aveva gusto. Il conto è stato un altro shock: 110 euro a testa, senza aver ricevuto alcuno scontrino (e, a detta loro, già “scontato”). Per aver mangiato solo antipasti e una grigliata scadente, ci è sembrato un vero e proprio furto. Penso che il titolare sia molto molto furbo, aveva già deciso il prezzo quando siamo arrivati… la professionalità non sa minimamente cosa sia… Esperienza da dimenticare. Non torneremo mai più.

12/10/2025: Disgusting restaurant, good staff, awful organization, very high prices, minium €50 per person without drinks, very expensive water, €5 without table service, remote and dirty place, very little food, huge dishes but poor quality food

02/03/2025: During a stay in Claviere around 3 PM, I stumbled upon the restaurant's window and saw a lovely ambiance and tables set. I found the prices displayed a bit steep, but I figured it was worth it. So I visited the restaurant's website, where I was insistently offered to book online. I was persuaded, filled out the form, and submitted it correctly. I received the booking confirmation by email. I showed up at the agreed-upon time and found it closed. I can only add: even leaving aside the laziness and lack of professionalism, why on earth did they leave the tables set?

10/12/2025: It was very bad.strange charges compared to to other places without any justification. I don’t recommend this cafe/restaurant at all.

07/12/2025: 5 euro per person it's like a rubbery, like the price for everything else (5€ a cappuccino or 6€ for a croissant). Avoid it!

27/09/2025: The prices were out of line (€3 cover charge, house wine €16/l), and the tuna was pan-fried instead of grilled. The only positive note was the service; the Asian waitress was very kind and professional. We didn't pay much, but I'm sure we won't be back.

13/09/2025: To be honest we didn't eat why... restaurant empty at 1 p.m. despite a magnificent view, we find that strange... well we say to ourselves we have an aperitif we look at the menu and we see, aperitif well served no problem. We look at the allergen menu in all the dishes and not just one allergen is scary, we say to ourselves there is no problem I felt bad... and then I ask for the WiFi which he gives me (thank you) and I look at the reviews... You understand the rest we paid the bill for the aperitif and left. (another waiter who did not stop sniffing did not give us confidence) Too bad because super location Philipe from nightmare in the kitchen seems to be making a visit I think....

30/06/2025: Personale cordiale, ma importante fregatura nella proposta del gestore di un antipasto misto che abbiamo pagato come singole portate ( 70 €) . Totale conto € 150 per 2 persone più una pizza.

29/06/2025: Partiamo dai piccoli accorgimenti arrivando alle poche ma grandi lacune che portano il mio voto da 4, se avessi mangiato bene, a 1 stella. Partiamo dal non aver chiesto di fare lo spelling del semplice cognome durante la prenotazione telefonica l, perché durante la serata chi è venuto dopo, pur dando il cognome corretto, e ripetuto più volte lentamente, la risposta è sempre stata “no mi spiace non lo trovo”. Era scritto male e con una grafia illeggibile. L’ho trovato io nel suo foglio… Ma andiamo avanti… Abbiamo ordinato quasi subito con la sala piena e chi ha preso le ordinazioni ha accolto delle modifiche anche dopo aver inviato la comanda senza battere ciglio. TOP! Il vino è arrivato subito e anche piuttosto freddo ma ho iniziato a mangiare dopo ben 40 min. Almeno mi portavano due patatine e mi passava per aperitivo. Acqua e bibite a temperatura ambiente, in sala esterna ci saranno stati 30/31 gradi quindi sicuramente da rivedere tempi e modalità di refilling del frigo bevande. Una Coca-Cola è arrivata direttamente dal centro distribuzione bevande dalla zona industriale… 25 min per una Coca-Cola anch’essa calda… Andiamo alle grandi lacune: 1. Eravamo un tavolo non troppo grande ma servire gli antipasti e le pizze a mezzo tavolo e l’altro mezzo riceve dopo 30 min antipasti e secondi insieme… beh i tempi delle cucine, per quanto separate, devono e ripeto devono essere sincronizzate o comunque non di 30 min. Non si possono guardare commensali che mangiano, terminano, e digeriscono e io ancora devo attendere l’antipasto, che per dovere di cronaca non prevedeva cottura. 2. Non sono un esperto in merito alla freschezza del pesce ma dato il posto sicuramente lo era ma il sapore del risotto alla pescatore era coperto dal burro o comunque da un grasso vegetale ed era davvero sgradevole. 3.Pressing al tavolo un po’ troppo eccessivo. Nemmeno avevo finito e una signora mi chiede “posso?”… be direi di no. Le posate sono posizionate in modo tale da far capire al cameriere che non avevo terminato… non si può più mangiare con calma che pur di fare cassa ti spingono nel completare il piatto davanti e far sedere il prossimo turno! E questo locale non è un fast food… 4. andiamo ai prezzi: alcune pietanze direi allineate al mercato e all’altezza del locale, ma 10 euro per una pizza Biancaneve e 2 euro l’aggiunta, forse anche no! Non ricordo bene ma 10 o 12 euro una fettina di pollo panata al forno dura e secca che mia figlia mi ha detto: “no papi è dura…”. Ok i 10 euro ma mannaggia a voi almeno che sia cotta bene… 5. Forse un po’ di mancanza di trasparenza per quanto è fuori menù… chiedere sempre al cliente se vuole sapere il costo del piatto fuori menù prima di confermarlo, sarà poi lui a dirvi se vuole saperlo o fa Gates di cognome e non bada a spese 6. Un po’ border Line ma in un locale di questo livello secondo me è una grande pecca. Non c’è un fasciatoio!!!! Cioè ok in bagno avete il mobilio scuro e figo ma andare all’ikea ne comprate uno in noce, di quelli che si aprono e chiudono a filo parete, molto elegante, e lo fate dipingere nero. Semplice ma forse per voi NO.
