07/12/2025: 2025, the heated gazebo was excellent for an aperitif with a friend who lives in Ferrara. We stopped for a quick drink and an ice cream with coffee, considering the sweltering heat. The interior was adequately cooled and features a large, comfortable veranda.

05/12/2025: The place is nice, the pastries are decent, but the last experience was embarrassing. An Asian waiter came to take our order, already looking annoyed. When he walked away a few meters, my companion said, "It's a shame he doesn't smile. He's a good-looking guy, he could be a cut above." He turned around and, looking me in the face so I could read his lips, said with a mean expression: "What the hell do you want?" We weren't rude; we asked politely and thanked him after ordering. A very kind colleague of his apologized for him. I feel sorry for Paolo, the owner (who wasn't there at the time), but because of this gratuitous arrogance, we won't set foot in there again. It's a shame, but the quality of the products must also be matched by the professionalism of the waiters. Last week, for example, we had lunch at a restaurant where the service is provided by young people (of Italian and other origins): even though the food wasn't exactly perfect, we posted an excellent review for the friendliness, friendliness, and professionalism of the staff, who made up for some small shortcomings in the cuisine.

02/11/2025: We stayed one night in this hotel, a big brother type room, that is, in a hovel with no assistance, paying 85 euros which is not worth it, dirty, plus zero breakfast, I do not recommend it to anyone, oops, dead bugs everywhere, it could close for us!

24/09/2025: Our experience at this restaurant was overshadowed by what felt like an unfair practice. We chose the tasting menu, which cost around €370 in total. When it came to selecting the wine, we trusted the staff’s recommendation, expecting something balanced and in line with the meal. However, the suggested bottle ended up costing €400 — more expensive than the entire food itself. At a restaurant of this level, there should be full transparency, especially when staff are making recommendations. Guests should always be made aware of the price range before such an expensive bottle is served. This left us with the impression of abuse and a lack of care towards the customer. The food was fine, but the way the wine was handled completely ruined the experience.

29/08/2025: I don't like to write "bad" reviews, but for this hotel I have to make an exception. The building is a bit dated and not adequately maintained. We found stained sheets, and that alone says it all. Breakfast is truly poor, with packaged food and little variety. The reception is open for a few hours during the day; the rest of the time you have to self-cater.

28/02/2025: Pilze auf der Pizza waren aus der Dose ungenießbar. Nudeln mit Hirsch Nudeln Weich und nicht warm Hirsch schmeckt nicht nach Hirsch.

29/07/2025: I went with a group of friends, and they told us right away that they don't do separate bills—no problem so far. When we went in to pay, we politely asked to make one bill but give the money per person so we could get the correct change. The gentleman at the cash register reluctantly replied that it wasn't possible. So we made do on our own, and on the way out, after I was arguing about how to split the money, the same gentleman butted in and rudely told me, "You got your money." I simply said, "Goodbye," as I was leaving, and he said, "See you again."

08/08/2025: I'm very sorry to leave this negative review, which is certainly related to the girl at the bar, because it wasn't my first time there. First of all, the bar wasn't full, but I think the bartender wasn't very keen on working. I was at a table, and she completely ignored me, serving people who had arrived after me at the counter. I had to get up, order, and serve myself. I was even polite and cleared the table. I paid, and she didn't even give me a receipt. The worst thing is that I ordered a soy cappuccino and felt bad because the lady must have used cow's milk. Well done! I hope she's just an employee.

11/06/2025: Mejor tener reservas si quieres estar fuera. El guardia del museo nos dijo que no conseguiríamos una mesa. Me alegro de haber ido. Sentado dentro pero capaz de ver el Duomo. Excelente comida, buena camarera. Muchos turistas, pero no es sorprendente.

10/06/2025: Fuimos con mi familia (4 personas) a los 16. 00 (por lo que el lugar estaba medio vacío) y quería pedir 3 platos y 4 bebidas (3 de ellos cócteles). La respuesta del personal fue que deberíamos pedir al menos 4 para poder ser atendidos. Les dije que el lugar está vacío y las bebidas cuestan más que el plato extra que están pidiendo, pero dijeron simplemente que no, así que nos fuimos y fuimos a otro lugar. Esta es la estupidez de una política y una vergüenza de hospitalidad. . . . no vayas, no te merecen!

13/10/2025: We paid like a luxury place but it's worth zero. Extremely dirty environment with an obnoxious smell. Presence of insects of all kinds in the rooms. I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN.

13/10/2025: The sleeping environment was extremely dirty with bed bugs galore, it was a constant struggle, the rooms smelled terrible, the towels and sheets were extremely dirty and they stank like spiders and cobwebs everywhere, I will never return.

06/06/2025: Sono stata qui a cena per un compleanno. Il locale è molto bello e curato, immerso nel verde e circondato da piscine. Abbiamo mangiato benissimo, prodotti freschi e piatti curati e saporiti. Buon servizio. Unica pecca: porzioni un po’ risicate e prezzi un po’ altini (per essere fuori Milano).

19/05/2025: Il posto è bello e suggestivo, anche se, il navigatore, ti porta all’ingresso del centro sportivo…e dalla strada non è tanto semplice e intuito raggiungerlo, per chi non lo conosce. Giornata di menù fisso per comunioni e compleanni. Decidiamo di non optare per il menù fisso perché è disponibile un menu alla carta…! Per quanto sia bello e suggestivo, il servizio lascia molto a desiderare. Da quando ci siamo seduti a quando ci hanno preso l’ordine sono passati più di 30 minuti, nonostante avessimo deciso da un po’ e segnalato ai camerieri che fossimo pronti. I camerieri, tanti e confusionari. Chi ti dava del tu, chi del lei, chi del voi. Finalmente arriva il ragazzo a prendere l’ordine …scazzato e svogliato, non ci dà alcun tipo di consiglio. Si capiva che fosse infastidito del fatto che non avessimo optato per il menù fisso ma, non è colpa nostra sé viene data la possibilità di scegliere alla carta. Ci chiede che vino volessimo ma, la carta dei vini non c’era stata consegnata con il menù. Finalmente ordiniamo. Da quando ha preso l’ordine all’arrivo dell’ antipasto passano 40 minuti circa. Un altra mezz’ora abbondante perché arrivino i primi che vengono portati separatamente. Prima le sei pasta e vongole, poi chiediamo degli altri due, pacchero e carbonara, che arrivano separatamente anche quelli, prima il pacchero e poi la carbonara. È bello mangiare tutti insieme non separatamente …! Altri venti minuti per tre fritture. Offri la possibilità, oltre al menù fisso, un menu alla carta? La cucina deve essere organizzata con una linea per il menù fisso e una linea per i menu alla carta. Se poi l’organizzazione manca non è colpa del cliente, a cui viene data la possibilità di scegliere un menù alla carta. Dalle 13:30 che ci siamo seduti, ci siamo alzati alle 17:30 circa…non è poca l’attesa. Non so a quanto sia ammontato il conto, perché eravamo ospiti, in ogni caso, non sono rimasto molto soddisfatto. Do un buono come valutazione perché la location è molto bella. Il servizio merita un due, capisco la giornata ma, troppo lenti e confusionari. Il cibo è buono. Mi spiace dirlo perché il potenziale c’è ma, non ci ritornerei.

07/10/2025: Worst food I had in Italy in 10 days. Very flavorless and overpriced. Don't get fooled by the views. Pasta with eggplants, tomatoes and fish was flavorless. Pasta was not cooked and was cold.

26/10/2025: Beyond the resort stay, the restaurant is highly recommended. The dishes are excellent, not overly special, but they do their part. The portions are generous. The restaurant feels luxurious, and the service confirms this. The waiters are extremely kind and helpful. They accompany you throughout the evening, making it truly enjoyable. Be careful of the noise in the kitchen, which, due to its poor soundproofing, can be a bit distracting given the serene and quiet atmosphere.

14/10/2025: Luxurious, very welcoming, well-furnished, and nestled in Borgo Lanciano. Excellent local dishes. A little pricey, but that's understandable given the setting.

02/11/2025: A very beautiful and evocative venue located in one of the most beautiful places in the world. With this setting, it's natural to expect top-notch service and, above all, superior food. Indeed, after getting over the wow factor of the location's beauty, we enjoyed impeccable service from knowledgeable and friendly staff and excellent food. A special mention goes to the linguine alla Nerano, an extraordinary Mediterranean dish. Spectacular!

02/10/2025: Despite spending around €250 for dinner for two, they refused to remove an appetizer we ordered and didn’t like. It was literally €35 for 4 small pieces of bite-sized zucchinis with what tasted like a fish paste filling inside. We ate one each and left the rest. The manager came to ask if we didn’t like it. After telling him we didn’t like it he took our plates away in what seemed like a “I’ll remove these from your bill sorry you didn’t like it” kind of way, and asked if we would like something else but later included it in the bill. When I asked if it could be removed he said that he would ask and came to say no (he just said he would ask but didn’t ask anyone I could tell), saying that we ate half of it and for that reason they would charge us for it (how else would we try something with 4 small pieces). Terrible experience, extremely small portions, and bad food. Don’t go here unless you want to be treated with fake and greedy hospitality.
