If you're in Vasto and looking for seafood that combines fresh ingredients with expert preparation, Caldora Punta Penna is an absolute must. I had lunch here recently and the experience was impeccable from start to finish. The absolute highlight is, without a doubt, the quality of the fish: you can tell from a mile away that the catch is incredibly fresh and carefully selected.

Lunch at this restaurant was a wonderful experience! I absolutely recommend it!! The excellent ingredients make each dish truly unique and exciting. The kindness, friendliness, and professionalism are all truly perfect!

A somewhat hidden seafood restaurant. Be warned, the setting might mislead you into thinking you're in front of a cheap seafood restaurant, but that's not the case. The quality is unquestionable, but it comes at a price. Everything is top-notch, from the food to the wines. For dinner with colleagues, six of us had a first course, a second course, two bottles of wine (the least expensive), and someone had dessert, splitting it Roman-style for €52 each.

Trabocco Punta Fornace

09/08/2026: Beautiful location. They booked me a cozy table on the terrace with a great view and plenty of air. The service was so-so; I had to ask and get up for some bread. The food was decent; it didn't blow me away. I don't want to overdo it, but at least they had a scampi tail (maybe bad luck) in the fried food instead of just heads, which I usually can't eat. The price of €70 for two aperitifs is fair.
05/08/2026: I chose it because they allowed us to bring our dog and I made a wonderful discovery... excellent food, clean and welcoming location, top service!
