14/08/2026: Very quiet place suitable for families with small children

08/08/2026: The campsite is in an enviable position facing the sea, the view makes up for it all... The little houses could do with a bit of an overhaul and everything could be left very run down. The amenities are there and are functional, it would only take a little bit of care to make the little houses and the access to the sea.... For the rest, everything is very comfortable and beautiful.

22/07/2026: A lovely bar and restaurant right on the seafront with a beautiful view. Lovely outdoor tables serve excellent arrosticini, pizza, and a delicious mixed fry. The rosemary focaccia is also delicious. Parking is available just steps away.

21/07/2026: We stayed at this establishment on Sunday and had a great time. It's very clean and tidy, and the staff is truly friendly and helpful. I booked via WhatsApp: they were very kind and kept everything they told me. I recommend it for its cleanliness, convenient parking, and excellent service. The beach is also well-organized: the umbrellas are spaced far enough apart, unlike many other establishments where it's often overcrowded. We'll definitely be back!

21/08/2026: I always return to Trattoria La Kantina for the quality of the cuisine, which continues to be the restaurant's true strength: the dishes are truly delicious and flavorful. Unfortunately, however, I must say that the service has deteriorated significantly compared to a few years ago. ​We arrived at 12:30 and had to wait over an hour for our first course. There's a noticeable disorganization in the table management, with the order of arrival and reservations not always being respected. ​Another sore point: there are no printed menus at the tables. The only list of dishes is hung on a column at the entrance, and the daily specials are only explained verbally when ordering, making it virtually impossible to settle the price before the bill. ​It's a shame, because the quality of the ingredients is worthy, but the overall organization currently leaves much to be desired. I hope they can return to the standards of the past.

19/08/2026: Passing by on my way home from vacation, I was fortunate enough to enjoy the dishes at Trattoria La Kantina. I won't say enough about the extraordinary "Brodetto alla Vastese"—the attached video speaks for itself.

07/08/2026: Old-fashioned village bar, room for improvement. We asked for two liqueurs without ice and they arrived with ice (sorry), an ice cream cone, and a cup of ice cream that had a receipt inside (not ours). Having pointed this out to the innocent waitress, we expected at least an apology from the "gentleman" at the counter who made the ice cream, but nothing... I went in to give the manager a chance to apologize, but still nothing... Come on, you learn from your mistakes... If you want to...🤞🏾

30/07/2026: We stopped here for a break during a visit to the village after visiting the Abbey of San Giovanni in Venere, and we were able to experience the courtesy and helpfulness of the elderly owner. It's people like her who cement the fond memories of a trip to the beautiful "Costa dei Trabocchi."

26/08/2026: TOURIST? OUCH OUCH! A basic family-run trattoria, designed primarily for local workers' lunch breaks. The staff rightly gives priority to them, but since I had time on my hands, it didn't bother me, and the wait was acceptable. ​As for the food, we ordered a pre-ordered fish soup and fried calamari. Overall, it was standard fare with generous portions and decent quality—nothing exciting, but in keeping with the type of establishment. ​It's a shame about the billing and the lack of transparency regarding prices. Despite being given the menu right away, when it came time to pay, the total was about 20% higher than expected. When ordering, they ask if you prefer bread or focaccia, offering it almost as a simple side dish; I strongly suspect they charge for the focaccia separately, but even adding that in doesn't add up. Having a different accent, I got the impression that they were overcharging tourists, a practice unfortunately seen elsewhere in Vasto. A truly unpleasant detail: many tourists aren't just passing through, but frequent Vasto regularly every summer. Treating people this way also means losing regular customers who would gladly return if they were honest. Given this attitude, I obviously won't be returning, and I really can't recommend it to tourists.

23/08/2026: Bridetto alla Vastese, we took it home and had dinner for 4! Excellent! + a little fried fish...wow, so close to home. A treasure! But the second time it didn't work. They forgot our order and, to apologize, they ALSO charged us more! 3 broths and 2 appetizers, 140 euros!

06/08/2026: A big family Peaceful and serene environment

01/08/2026: The excellent quality of the fish and the incredibly friendly staff made my experience at Lido Mare Nostrum extremely enjoyable. I highly recommend the cod and peppers and the clam rings, which are truly exceptional.

02/06/2026: Unfortunately, it was a very negative experience. There were eight of us and we waited about an hour for our first courses. After all this time, we received risotto, when we had actually ordered spaghetti. We then waited another 10 minutes for the correct dish, which turned out to be egg chitarrine, not the spaghetti listed on the menu. We waited another 20 minutes for the fried food. When we received the bill, we mentioned both the long wait and the mistake in our order, but no one apologized adequately, nor did we receive any kind of thoughtfulness. In fact, when we checked the receipt, we realized we had paid about €4 per person more than the correct total. Our mistake for not checking immediately! It's a shame because the food was good, but the service was slow, disorganized, and rude.

02/06/2026: We went for lunch as a group of 8 and ordered 8 seafood spaghetti dishes to avoid long waits, 4 fried fish dishes, and 2 French fries. We were told the wait was for the first course to be cooked (we thought 10-15 minutes), but after an hour, still nothing. So, we asked how the dishes were going and they rudely told us they were cooking (without even checking in the kitchen). Then, asking if we had 8 risottos, we immediately said no, as we had all ordered spaghetti. After 10 minutes, they brought us the risottos, at which point we reiterated that we had spaghetti. After 15 minutes, they finally brought the first course back, and instead of spaghetti, we had egg chitarrine. We ate without saying anything because we were very hungry. They told us that the man had made a mistake in taking our orders with risottos instead of spaghetti, but we don't know why the chitarrine. The fried dishes went well, then the climax came at the cashier. We got to the cashier expecting a special treatment for the wait and the mistake, but instead🙈, the bill was 213 euros. We asked him, "Divided by 8, how much is that?" He told us 31, which makes 30. 213 divided by 8 is about 26. We naively didn't recalculate, we trusted the special treatment. To top it all, after more than an hour we ate what we hadn't ordered, plus a €5 surcharge. We were cuckolded and beaten.

12/07/2026: A place to rediscover flavors, everything very genuine and with flavors of the past, the only advice I would leave a little space for food that is also more attentive to proper nutrition to have an alternative, highly recommended ☺️ a sublime discovery

17/07/2026: one of my favorite pizza in Vasto… i take very often ( maybe even too much often 🤣) but what can i do if its so delicious? more than this they have Cider 🍺 that is impossible to find in Vasto anyway i think one of the pizzaiolo have crush on me ( he made me pizza shape of heart hehe 🌝)

12/07/2026: Excellent pizzeria in the historic center of Vasto. You can eat inside or outside in the beautiful little square. Pizzas with unique flavors, all truly special (I've been back several times), at prices that are now unmatched in Italy. The dough is incredibly light and won't leave you thirsty at all! If you're lucky, ask for the hemp dough! Highly recommended.

15/06/2026: Very nice and relaxing place. The background music is very pleasant. The wine list is extensive. The seafood risotto is good.

19/08/2026: High prices and meager portions. €8 for a piece of lasagna is excessive. The fried food is served on a small plastic plate (the one used for desserts).

20/08/2026: Terrible experience. Very slow service, and it's hotter inside in August 2026 than outside. The coffee isn't good, and a bottle of water costs €1.20. This place is scandalous, avoid it whenever possible. Go elsewhere.
