02/06/2026: The food was okay, and the waitresses were very kind and professional. The same couldn't be said for the owner, who was very rude and rude. As soon as we finished lunch, he approached us, annoyed, and raising his voice. He told us we had to get up because he was letting other people in line outside. We immediately left the table, and before leaving, we told him we'd leave a negative review explaining what had happened. At that point, he flew into a rage and told us to "go fuck ourselves" in front of all the customers, even making the trademark hand gesture three times, saying he didn't care about the negative review because the place was always full. A disappointment.

02/05/2026: Recommended by locals, we were satisfied. It's a rustic yet substantial osteria. We were also lucky enough to find live music, making the atmosphere truly pleasant and familiar.

04/05/2026: 10:30 am ... maximum 5 people in the restaurant. One girl serving people at the breakfast counter and three others hidden behind talking. I waited 15 minutes at the cash register to pay. I looked out three times to signal that there was a customer at the register but zero reaction. They pretended nothing because one was the manager and the other managers I think ... rude by the way.

29/04/2026: Terrible experience. I ordered ice cream and it arrived after a full two hours, completely melted. This is absolutely unthinkable, especially considering the store is just a few hundred meters from my shop. To make matters worse, I had chosen to pay on delivery with a note requiring change, but the courier was completely unorganized. I even had to go to the tobacconist to change the money. Truly disappointing service from every perspective. I don't think I'll repeat the experience.

10/01/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ – Authentic experience and flavors of Abruzzo! During our vacation in Pizzoferrato, we dined at Locanda Italia, and we were thrilled! We dined there for several days, trying different and always delicious dishes. From the tender and juicy veal steak to the perfectly creamy carbonara to the roasted cow's milk cheese, each dish was a true discovery of authentic flavors. The sagnette with beans and sausage, a typical Abruzzo dish prepared with great care, and the pasta all'arrabbiata with its bold yet balanced flavor were unforgettable. All this was accompanied by an excellent house wine that enhanced every course. Welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, and a warm atmosphere. We will definitely be back! Highly recommended! Giuseppe

15/03/2026: Reading negative reviews, along with their reasons, well, it makes me smile wryly, not to say painfully... I've been there about three times, and none of the negative things they've written have ever occurred to me, nor to anyone else I've ever met. The pizza is nothing short of fabulous, the prices are average, the service is warm, and the place is tidy and clean. Eating your pizzas there is sublime, surrounded by an intimate and welcoming atmosphere... From my point of view, there's excellent work underneath (you can really feel the 72-hour leavening process), done by capable and competent people... top pizza chef.

03/05/2026: Given that this isn't the first time we've eaten here, we unfortunately decided to review it this evening... Meanwhile, at 9 pm on Sunday evening, several pizza ingredients were sold out. Out of four pizzas ordered, three were rubbery and one wasn't fully cooked. But the least pleasant thing was the attitude of the wait staff... With the room half-empty, they sat us in front of the table linens, and every time the waitress went to get the table linens, we saw her huff and roll her eyes. When we were ordering (after 3 minutes, she was already at the table taking our order), she seemed in a hurry to leave and already seemed annoyed that we weren't ready for the full order. Even though we'd asked for fries first and then for the rest, our order arrived at the table all at once. In short, we felt uncomfortable, almost as if we were in the way, and we also went home with a lump in our stomachs from a pizza that was anything but digestible!!! What can I say, a bad night??? Next time, we'll take our €100 elsewhere. Good luck!!

15/09/2025: We returned like every year, but this time a little disappointed, a problem with the service of the dishes, the chitarrina with clams was a fettuccine and I assure you that there is a big difference, poor communication with the customer, the place is nice at lunch, less so in the evening, the pizza is good but the mussels are a mix of fresh and old.

27/04/2026: Went for lunch on Sunday with friends, and the restaurant was packed. We had to wait over an hour to order (even just drinks), plus a good amount of time for the mains. They even brought us dishes from another table; the staff was friendly enough but in a complete panic. In the end, the lunch wasn't bad, though some items on the menu weren't available, like the pasta options.
