03/02/2026: Beautiful and welcoming with very friendly staff. A charming atmosphere and good food. It's located right next to the Church of the Eucharistic Miracle. Must try.

06/01/2026: Honestly I have to say that I was a little disappointed, the food wasn't that great, I expected better.

08/03/2026: Very nice, intimate, and welcoming atmosphere. The owners were kind, helpful, and very courteous, and the waitresses were discreet. Service was limited to taking orders, after which the girls didn't show up at the table except to bring the dishes. We had to call them to get attention (for example, there was no water at the table), so customer service was unfortunately nonexistent. The wait was average, a shame about the hot appetizers, which were unfortunately cold, and the only hot items were tempura skewers. The seafood salad was decent, and the cold appetizers were good. Unfortunately, the chitarra allo scoglio pasta turned out to be chitarra with mussels and clams, with a shrimp tail (one of a kind) and a cherry tomato. Overall, that was also decent, but far from qualifying as chitarra allo scoglio. Another negative note was the grilled calamari, which was actually breaded calamari, probably cooked in the oven, as there were no signs of grilling. It was good, but it would have been better if they had called ahead. The children's mezze maniche with plain tomato sauce was very good (the kids loved it). It's a shame that the waitresses didn't ask if we wanted anything else, offering coffee, sorbet, etc... The average bill was around 30 euros per person.

01/01/2026: The atmosphere was typical of a trattoria, the staff were friendly, and the food was decent. However, for New Year's Eve dinner, except for the appetizer, where everyone received their own course, the following courses were served to only three out of six people at our table. Each time, they forgot to complete the round, so we had to point this out. With the fried food, however, only one person received a side salad. Finally, they served dessert directly, without bringing anyone at our table the zampone and lentils included in the menu, which had been duly prepaid upon entering the restaurant. We were full, and at that point we didn't even say anything. I don't think it was bad faith (although I wonder how the kitchen didn't realize there were still dishes to serve), but they certainly weren't capable of managing the restaurant's capacity, and perhaps they didn't even realize that someone was always left without their dish.

10/01/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ – Authentic experience and flavors of Abruzzo! During our vacation in Pizzoferrato, we dined at Locanda Italia, and we were thrilled! We dined there for several days, trying different and always delicious dishes. From the tender and juicy veal steak to the perfectly creamy carbonara to the roasted cow's milk cheese, each dish was a true discovery of authentic flavors. The sagnette with beans and sausage, a typical Abruzzo dish prepared with great care, and the pasta all'arrabbiata with its bold yet balanced flavor were unforgettable. All this was accompanied by an excellent house wine that enhanced every course. Welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, and a warm atmosphere. We will definitely be back! Highly recommended! Giuseppe

27/08/2025: High prices for a self-service restaurant. I ordered an appetizer, a fried dish, and a first course; the cashier suggested splitting the appetizer into two plates to share, saying it would count as one portion. When it came to the bill, however, it was passed off as two half portions, a little ploy to overcharge. After pointing this out, they refunded me €4, but the intentional attempt to inflate the price is clear. The total was €47, a high price considering the portions and the self-service (the fried dish, in particular, was very small). The food was good, but the quality-price ratio didn't justify the experience. Mistakes happen, but it seemed like a really nasty attempt to overcharge.

02/01/2026: My experience was terrible, the salmon was poor quality, the fish was also poor, the tuna was white and had stains, the tablecloths were quite uncomfortable, this sushi would cause stomach upset as has already happened to me and my family, there is a lot to improve, otherwise everything was ok.

16/12/2025: Huge disappointment. Cheap tomatoes, no taste of basil, dough and cheese were okay. No seasoning or sauce, very dry.

08/08/2025: Excellent piadinas. I recommend the Abruzzesi with ventricina and pecorino cheese. The owner is very helpful and professional!

04/09/2025: Located on the northern waterfront of Francavilla Al Mare (Viale Alcjone, on the hillside), this fast food restaurant is an excellent option for those looking for delicious, freshly prepared food at a reasonable price. Few frills, but plenty of "speedy food" substance, especially the arrosticini, a must-try in the Abruzzo region, are delicious. Wash it all down with a nice glass of Montepulciano or a nice cold beer, and the whole thing is complete.

11/01/2026: Unfortunately, I have to leave one star for the terrible experience we had. We arrived with a small dog weighing just 1.3 kg, properly transported in its carrier. It's a hypoallergenic toy breed, completely harmless and accustomed to public places. Despite all the precautions, we were denied entry, with no willingness, kindness, or even an alternative solution. I find such a rigid attitude very disappointing, especially considering that in Italy, pets are allowed in public places as long as there are no hygiene or safety risks (as clarified by the Ministry of Health in its guidelines on the presence of animals in public places). Not to mention the owner of the place, an elderly lady with zero tact and empathy. I wonder how she could possibly stay in a place like this. A real shame, because a modicum of humanity would have been enough to avoid such an unpleasant experience. We won't be returning.

11/01/2026: The service leaves much to be desired, and the courtesy is lacking. The pizza is barely edible. The icing on the cake: they don't allow dogs, not even those weighing just 1kg (a toy poodle puppy) in a carrier. The result? A ruined evening, to say the least, and if it hadn't been a birthday party, we would have left... Highly not recommended, never again!

03/11/2025: I called on October 23rd to reserve a table for Sunday, November 2nd. They told me they were open and would reserve a table for me. I don't remember if they asked for my contact information. Yesterday I showed up outside the restaurant. It was closed like it never existed. I was left without a table in a city that wasn't my own. I tried calling, but obviously, since it's a landline, no one answered. What's the point of accepting fake reservations?? Or not bothering to let them know?? Shame!!!!

30/09/2025: Well done, very well done. I don't understand the negative reviews; I ate wonderfully. We had the super generous menu (€35), which included three appetizers, a first course, and finally fried food. The owner (chef) was knowledgeable and competent. The waiter was very young but enthusiastic. Keep it up, and a little advice: try to let the criticism slide. Stop writing papyrus (I understand it's right to defend yourself and make the ignorant understand the sacrifices your job entails), but dedicate your time to your lucky pets (given how much you love them). 14/09/2025: We were greeted very warmly and sat in the garden. It was cool and we immediately felt at ease. The service was prompt and professional, but what really stuck with me were the arrosticini, they were amazing. I recommend the Patate al coppo, delicious. I'll definitely be back!

09/11/2025: A place that is nothing short of magnificent and elegant, even though I think it is dated in its existence, I had the pleasure of celebrating Halloween evening in this location with an organised package and with a small group of friends, taking advantage of the fact that there are also accommodations, we also stayed to sleep.

06/09/2025: We chose this location for our wedding and what can I say... We were pampered from start to finish. Piero is a wonderful person; he made us feel at home from start to finish and guided us through this year of preparations. Miriam and Elena are two amazing people, super organized and available to us. The atmosphere was wonderful, the food excellent, and our guests had a blast... we couldn't have asked for anything better for our wedding. A serene, cheerful, and happy atmosphere with cool hair and a wonderful light in their eyes. And then the desserts... unsurpassed. For a unique experience, I highly recommend them.
