03/06/2025: Family welcome, excellent quality fish

25/04/2025: On our way back from a trip to Puglia, we decided to stop at this restaurant instead of the usual sandwich at the service station. Located in an industrial area, the place is frequented by workers. The owner is welcoming, but the atmosphere is a bit less so given its simplicity. The main course was good, with vegetables that I would have preferred warm. So far, so good; the problem lies in the lack of a menu and the owner's subjective interpretation of how she charged for meals. For this reason, I'm listing in this review the prices we were given, which absolutely don't justify what we were served. The first course, for example, was homemade "strozzapreti" pasta with traces of a sour sauce and rare pieces of ragù for €10 (in Polignano al Mare, right in the center, we paid €8 for a first course and it was superior). The second course was €13. All in all, it might be worth the price, but I doubt working-class customers can afford to pay that kind of money for their lunch break! A first course, two second courses, two glasses of wine, a Fanta, a bottle of water, and two coffees for a total of €53...an absolutely disproportionate amount for the location, the setting, and the food offered. Sometimes, being fair and giving your customers the menu prevents inequality among them and the risk of unpleasant reviews like this. Not recommended.

11/01/2026: Unfortunately, I have to leave one star for the terrible experience we had. We arrived with a small dog weighing just 1.3 kg, properly transported in its carrier. It's a hypoallergenic toy breed, completely harmless and accustomed to public places. Despite all the precautions, we were denied entry, with no willingness, kindness, or even an alternative solution. I find such a rigid attitude very disappointing, especially considering that in Italy, pets are allowed in public places as long as there are no hygiene or safety risks (as clarified by the Ministry of Health in its guidelines on the presence of animals in public places). Not to mention the owner of the place, an elderly lady with zero tact and empathy. I wonder how she could possibly stay in a place like this. A real shame, because a modicum of humanity would have been enough to avoid such an unpleasant experience. We won't be returning.

11/01/2026: The service leaves much to be desired, and the courtesy is lacking. The pizza is barely edible. The icing on the cake: they don't allow dogs, not even those weighing just 1kg (a toy poodle puppy) in a carrier. The result? A ruined evening, to say the least, and if it hadn't been a birthday party, we would have left... Highly not recommended, never again!

30/09/2025: Yes, they're kind and tidy, but who knows why they gave everyone who was there and who came in after me a glass of water and me a plastic one... maybe because I have a Northern Italian accent???? Oh well! Let's just say I'm giving this bar a thumbs up.

25/01/2026: I frequent this place often and consider it a guarantee of quality and a relaxing atmosphere! The pizza dough is very light and easy to digest, ideal even for those like me who can't always digest it. The pizza is cooked in a wood-fired oven, truly excellent and well-made. The pizza chef is excellent; you can see both her passion and expertise. The staff is always friendly, attentive, and helpful. In my opinion, one of the best pizzerias in the area, highly recommended!

04/09/2025: Located on the northern waterfront of Francavilla Al Mare (Viale Alcjone, on the hillside), this fast food restaurant is an excellent option for those looking for delicious, freshly prepared food at a reasonable price. Few frills, but plenty of "speedy food" substance, especially the arrosticini, a must-try in the Abruzzo region, are delicious. Wash it all down with a nice glass of Montepulciano or a nice cold beer, and the whole thing is complete.

06/01/2026: Honestly I have to say that I was a little disappointed, the food wasn't that great, I expected better.

16/12/2025: Huge disappointment. Cheap tomatoes, no taste of basil, dough and cheese were okay. No seasoning or sauce, very dry.

05/10/2025: Very good pizza, very kind delivery person, good value for money. It's a shame that both the counter staff and the owner on the phone mistook me for a "...." who didn't know how the delivery platform worked. They also yelled at me and hung up on me. All they had to do was tell the truth. 5 stars when you learn manners.

21/08/2025: Perfect for a quick but delicious pizza, without table service. Affordable and high-quality. A good selection of pizzas, all tasty and made with delicious ingredients. They also do takeout. I loved it! UPDATE: I've been back, and it's still a 5-star pizzeria: a wide selection of pizzas, from traditional to gourmet, light and easy-to-digest dough, and below-average prices.

27/08/2025: High prices for a self-service restaurant. I ordered an appetizer, a fried dish, and a first course; the cashier suggested splitting the appetizer into two plates to share, saying it would count as one portion. When it came to the bill, however, it was passed off as two half portions, a little ploy to overcharge. After pointing this out, they refunded me €4, but the intentional attempt to inflate the price is clear. The total was €47, a high price considering the portions and the self-service (the fried dish, in particular, was very small). The food was good, but the quality-price ratio didn't justify the experience. Mistakes happen, but it seemed like a really nasty attempt to overcharge.
