04/10/2025: We visited this restaurant on August 20th. We had mixed fritters as an appetizer and arrosticini: classic, liver, and handmade. The food wasn't bad, but the service, hopefully due to the large crowd, could use some updating. The cover charge would have included bread (an excellent base for arrosticini), but it wasn't brought to us, and looking at other tables, we weren't the only ones. The arrosticini, however, were brought to us in batches: the first eight (four each), and only after a bit of a wait were the rest. I understand they were different types, but having to "taste" them and then wait a bit longer spoils your appetite. Regardless, this is a place that certainly knows its stuff, but the price of the arrosticini has reached quite high levels.

09/11/2025: A nougat coffee worth the break One afternoon, I decided to treat myself to a break at Bar FratelliNurzia with my son, and it was an elegant, warm, and authentic experience. The establishment, located in the heart of Piazza Duomo, with its history dating back to 1835 and its art nouveau atmosphere, is perfect for stopping, taking a breather, and enjoying something unique. We ordered the famous nougat coffee, perfectly balanced between the intense aroma of coffee and the smooth sweetness of the "Nurzia" nougat from L'Aquila. The texture is enveloping, the flavor delicate yet bold. This sweet moment complemented the elegance of the establishment and the kindness of the service. Special thanks to Gianluca and Giuly, the baristas who welcomed us with great kindness, smiles, and professionalism: they guided us in our choices, explaining the history of nougat, and making the break even more special. And I can't help but mention the owner, Natalia, who, even though she wasn't there, I already know, and I know how much love and care she brings to this family project. The result? A place where time slows down, flavor is celebrated, and humanity is felt. A full five-star rating.

05/08/2025: In the heart of Pollutri, we discovered this magnificent agriturismo/restaurant run with overwhelming passion by Francesco and Maria Concetta. Their cuisine is the most sincere and delicious expression of Abruzzo's tradition: simple, authentic dishes prepared with excellent, locally sourced seasonal produce. Every flavor tells the story of this wonderful land. Francesco and Maria Concetta are incredibly kind and welcoming, making you feel instantly at home, like family. A culinary and human experience we recommend to anyone near Vasto. If you're looking for the authentic flavors of Abruzzo and a warm welcome, L'Olivastro is a must-see. We'll be back very soon!

24/09/2025: We visited today for dinner and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The host was incredibly welcoming, creating a warm and family-like atmosphere. The place itself feels cozy and inviting, clearly loved by locals. The food was exceptional – fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The seafood, in particular, was outstanding, some of the best we’ve ever had. Highly recommended for anyone looking for genuine hospitality and unforgettable flavors!

23/11/2025: We went to Conchiglia d'Oro and had a truly excellent experience. We started with the seafood appetizers, which were incredibly fresh and beautifully presented. Their famous risotto flambé, served directly at your table, is absolutely the highlight: creamy and rich in flavor. The main course, fish in a potato crust, was also delicious. The staff is professional, attentive, and always friendly, helping to make the evening even more enjoyable. The price is fully in line with the quality of the products and the service offered. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy excellent seafood in Pineto! 🐟✨

19/11/2025: I can't fault this restaurant for its food or flavor. My biggest complaint is the service and the pretentious atmosphere. We were treated to lunch on a Sunday afternoon, and the young lady who invited us didn't know the menu had a minimum order. It's a fixed price with a minimum of 30 euros per person. We had already ordered our meal when the waiter told us we needed to order an appetizer or side dish. Our host explained to the waiter that we only wanted the meal we'd ordered, but that we could have coffee and dessert afterward. The situation became awkward when a head waiter came out to explain the situation. We'd already ordered bottled water, so we didn't feel comfortable leaving like that. Our host explained that we only wanted the meals we'd ordered and didn't want to be forced to order more food than we wanted. The waiter returned, saying that the chef "would allow it this time," as it's not common practice. When our dishes arrived, they brought two at once, and we waited 8 minutes for the last appetizer. Our seafood pasta was tasty, but the service continued to deteriorate. When our guest went to pay, the chef came out and scolded her, telling her that this wasn't a "fast food" restaurant and to keep that in mind. Very pretentious and truly inconvenient for all three of us. I would never return to this place; even though our meal was delicious, we weren't treated with respect. It's a shame 😔

14/11/2025: Despite the location's potential, the experience was negative due to poor service, ridiculous prices, mediocre quality, and tasteless seafood appetizers. The service was inconsistent. Poor value for money. I hope the management will take these concerns into account to improve, but for now, I wouldn't recommend it. Unfortunately, a disappointing experience.
