17/03/2026: Everything was delicious: sagne and chickpeas, roast meat, and above all, lots of side dishes that aren't easy to find. Lots of cooked vegetables, roast breaded mushrooms... top.

16/03/2026: We visited this place for a midweek lunch and were pleasantly surprised by both the delicious dishes and the friendly, fast service. We then focused on their beers and spirits, and what can I say, they are simply delicious. The staff was attentive, professional, and friendly, making us feel right at home. The atmosphere was welcoming and well-kept, with excellent value for money. We'll definitely be back, highly recommended!

15/03/2026: Good food, reliable and honest owners. You can find a bit of everything besides wood-fired pizza. Delicious arrosticini. Friendly and professional staff. There are plenty of tables, but reservations are strongly recommended. Ample outdoor parking is available. The restaurant has been open for decades and has always focused on traditional dishes.

08/02/2026: We had a great meal, a perfectly cooked rib eye steak. We paid €40 (there were three of us, total €120) for fries, two arrosticini each, three fried focaccias, the rib eye steak, half a bottle of wine, and a can of Coke. We'll definitely be back.

31/03/2026: We celebrated a birthday with 15 adults and 4 children. The restaurant was welcoming, with a warm atmosphere thanks to the stone interior and antique wood furnishings. The food was excellent, and the service provided by the owner was impeccable. They fulfilled our every request, and we felt pampered. It's not my first time at the Castle, and it's always a guarantee. Top. Furthermore, thanks to its elevated position, it offers a breathtaking view of the Fucino plain.

21/03/2026: A quick trip to Abruzzo to adopt a puppy. We already had our dog with us that evening, so we opted for dinner in the apartment where we were staying. We went to get some takeaway arrosticini, which were delicious and perfectly cooked. They were very kind and wrapped it all up for us so we could enjoy it piping hot... highly recommended.

The dishes have that authentic, home-cooked flavor you always look for: from the pasta dishes to the meat, every course was a perfect match. Despite our large group, the service was surprisingly fast. The staff was friendly, approachable, and always attentive to our every need. All this topped off with excellent value for money. An ideal destination for groups and those who love good food. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back!

The dining room staff, with their wonderful hospitality, attentive service, perfect presentation of dishes and drinks, skillful and competent, won over this humble waitress... The quality of the ingredients had already captured my attention. Then, the magic of the Chef and the kitchen team undeniably completed what was a truly culinary experience. 19/02/2026: I stopped by on the same day, without a reservation, and at the last minute, despite the busy time, the waitress set a table for two. The dishes were delicious: absolutely worth trying the mazzarelle and pork loin with peppers and plums. For dessert (the perfect finishing touch to a fantastic meal) the tiramisu with Atri's Panducale cheese. I'll definitely be back. Extremely efficient service and very kind staff!

24/02/2026: I don’t like to do it, but I have to. Food was great, amazing, really worth to try and I highly recommend to do it, you won’t regret! But I also recommend, to check your bill before you pay, our came with two extra desserts, which we didn’t order and didn’t have obviously, but we figured it out 2000km away from restaurant, when we split the bill between us. Once again, food - delicious, amazing, but ‚extras’ on the bill, left a really bad impression ☹️

The atmosphere is welcoming, with attention to detail, and perfect for such an important occasion. Everything was organized with care and professionalism, making us feel immediately at ease. A huge thank you to Steven, who was truly impeccable: extremely kind, always available, and attentive to every detail. He patiently helped me organize the event, and he was discreetly but consistently present during the luncheon. His courtesy and his approach truly made the difference. I absolutely recommend it to anyone who wants to celebrate an important moment without stress and with the knowledge of being in excellent hands. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart!

The restaurant is set in a charming setting, with splendid brick vaults and a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes the meal even more enjoyable. An authentic place where you can experience the full essence of Abruzzo tradition. There were five of us, and we were all very satisfied. Among the appetizers, the cacio e ovo (cheese and egg) balls stood out, truly extraordinary: soft, flavorful, and immersed in a rich, flavorful sauce that perfectly enhances the flavor of the cheese. One of the most delicious traditional Abruzzo dishes. I chose the gnocchi alla ventricina, simply exceptional: soft and well-made gnocchi, with a flavorful sauce that adds character and an intense, typical local flavor. The nettle ravioli were also very special, appreciated for their delicate flavor and the authentic flavor of the fresh pasta. The service was kind and attentive, and the restaurant's intimate, characteristic atmosphere made the experience even more enjoyable. La Torre di Pretoro is definitely a restaurant worth recommending to anyone who wants to enjoy authentic local cuisine in a truly charming setting. ⭐ Absolutely recommended! 🍝

29/12/2025: Super cute restaurant with great pizza. In the best possible way this place with its open pizza kitchen and great bar reminds me of celebrations after little league baseball games. But the food is about 10x better.
