I migliori ristoranti in Abruzzo

03/05/2025: Uscendo dal centro e dai radar dei posti turistici, su suggerimento di un local raggiungiamo gli amici della forchetta. Dall’esterno non si presenta benissimo ma appena entri comincia un viaggio onirico nella cucina di Nando. Tutto fresco molto buono, prezzo giusto (bruschette miste, maltagliati salsiccia e pomodorini e coniglio alla cacciatora…..cannoli scomposti). Alla prossima!

26/04/2025: Siamo stati con amici in questa trattoria, piccola ma accogliente, Nando ottimo cuoco che insieme a sua moglie ti fanno subito sentire a casa. Piatti ricchi della tradizione, ottimo gli antipasti con olio nostrano, squisito il tacchino e il CIP e CIAP uno spezzatino di costolette di maiale … top !

The incredible location overlooking the Abruzzo coast (unforgettable under a full moon), the family atmosphere, and the groups of longtime friends who flock to Bruno, the owner, transform a dinner into a memorable experience. 09/10/2025: We went for lunch on Saturday, January 28th. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed. We had an appetizer (average but a bit poor) and three first courses, two tagliatelle and some gnocchi. The tagliatelle were really poorly made, tasteless, and very dry, even though they were made with quality ragù. There was no love on the plate, so we left them. The gnocchi (the homemade ones) were quite good, but even the ones made in a rush were sloppy and careless. The main courses arrived very late, even though the place was nearly empty. A glass of wine (two fingers, a taste) was €6. We decided not to continue the meal given the situation, but here comes the best part: the bill! €72 for almost nothing, and very little.

11/09/2025: Great experience, we ate buffalo mozzarella and artichokes on the spot, everything was very good.... at the end we did the shopping. I then remembered thanks to Google Maps that I had already been there a few years ago, honestly I didn't remember, something must have changed...

05/10/2025: I was in Bominaco to visit the two churches. I then took a lunch break and just managed to get the last seat at the restaurant. It was a lovely, authentic experience, with excellent regional dishes, all freshly prepared and handmade. You can also buy regional products at the restaurant. After consulting with the owner, I purchased a bottle of organic Montepulciano d'Abruzzo. A poem! The service was also excellent, friendly, and fast. I highly recommend the restaurant.

10/08/2025: A small, hidden restaurant, but delicious, super clean, tidy, and new. The host is exceptionally kind, the welcome is textbook, and the service is precise and punctual. The prices are fair, no complaints. A small tip: perhaps look for something more in the flavors and combinations, especially with the starters, because the ingredients were quite good. I would definitely recommend it to anyone passing through.

27/08/2025: It's a fantastic dive—I say dive, but not in a derogatory way. It's a super simple place, with two beers, both lager, and an appetizer: cured meats and cheeses, both very good. A main course: handmade arrosticini, meat, and liver. If you ask, they can have other meats to roast. Forget the desserts, they're not worth it; otherwise, everything else is superb. It has the air of an authentic, rural "Ritrovo." The owner and staff are very kind.

03/08/2025: I'm completely fascinated by this place. It feels like you're entering a private home, and the atmosphere is truly homely. The arrosticini and prosciutto are delicious. Highly recommended!

02/07/2025: My mother and I each got a slice of pizza, it was very delicious and I would go again. The reason it's a 4 star rating is because it wasn't heated up and we weren't asked if we wanted it heated. It was still good cold.

30/09/2025: We had a great time... The pizzas were delicious, the prices were excellent, the quality was equally good... The resort was large, the sea was spotless, as were the bathrooms, changing rooms, etc. The beach sports were top-notch... Highly recommended.

09/09/2025: The restaurant serves mostly à la carte meals. The lunch buffet offered to the beach club's "day guests" is overpriced, but they also serve excellent round pizzas.

27/09/2025: We had skewers, potatoes, and salad. The potatoes arrived first, so we ate them because they get cold if we wait for the skewers. When the skewers arrived, we asked for bread a second time, and they forgot about us. Then, before the bread arrived, our skewers were already cold, so I don't know if anyone else could have eaten them.

26/08/2025: We had a great time. The place is very quiet in the countryside between Cugnoli and Villa San Giovanni, with a simple and clean atmosphere. I really enjoyed the pizza. The liver arrosticini were excellent, and I preferred them to the regular ones. The young and very friendly owners.
