We returned to Carmine's for a family dinner and, as always, we were reassured that this place is a must-try for those seeking excellent seafood. Their consistency in the quality of their ingredients and service is admirable. The experience started off great with the two house mixed appetizers. It's a beautifully structured menu, offering a series of hot and cold tastings where the ingredients take center stage. Dishes are clean in flavor, never overpowered by excessive seasoning, ranging from the delicacy of local seafood to more delicious traditional seafood dishes, all served with perfect timing. The freshness of the fish is evident in every bite. The highlight of the evening were the first courses, all executed with remarkable technical precision. For our little girl, we ordered gnocchi with scampi in tomato sauce: the pasta had the perfect consistency, and the rich, creamy sauce was perfectly balanced for a child's tastes, so much so that she swiped it all up in no time. The marinara risotto was a real surprise, impeccably creamed, with perfectly separated grains and an intense aroma of the sea. The spaghetti with clams was also top-notch: pasta decidedly al dente, bound together by a perfect emulsion, flavorful and without a trace of sand. We finished by sharing a mixed Adriatic fry between three: dry, crispy, and very light. To drink, we had a half liter of house white wine, chilled and delicious throughout the dinner. The atmosphere is welcoming and refined, and the staff stands out for their professionalism, never stiff, with an old-fashioned attention to detail, even for the children. The bill was absolutely fair for the quality of the dinner. We always come back and continue to recommend it.

I had the meatball sandwich that almost made me cry because I last tasted meatballs like that as a child while mom was still alive. My partner had the mortadella that she just loved. I’d return to sulmona just for another sandwich at this place!!!! Fantastic to say the least!

The organization was truly extraordinary; we felt welcomed like family, and everything exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere was beautiful, the venue was well-maintained, and the staff were incredibly professional. Another aspect that really impressed us was the value for money: it's truly rare to find a place like this, where you eat so well, are treated so kindly, and the price is also reasonable. Thank you so much for making such an important day for our daughter unforgettable. We will definitely be back and recommend it to everyone! The empanadas are simply incredible, made with quality ingredients, while the sandwiches are generous, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying. A welcoming atmosphere, and friendly and helpful staff make you feel right at home! Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back!

The restaurant offers authentic and hearty cuisine, with expertly reinterpreted traditional mountain dishes: sagne and beans, lamb with herbs, black truffle, and porcini mushrooms are just some of the delicacies on offer. The atmosphere is welcoming, rustic, and warm, perfect for a dinner with friends. The service is attentive and friendly. An authentic experience not to be missed.

27/04/2026: SUPERB arrosticini! It's the first time I've eaten them cooked in the region, and as I expected, they're much better than store-bought ones eaten in other regions. The place is very cute, with walls decorated with a fake garden, and friendly staff.
