05/10/2025: We returned to this trattoria for the second time. The first time we came almost on purpose (we're from Ancona), this time we were returning from a trip to southern Italy. A place from another era, where the food is still at the heart of the experience, authentic and not "pretty"—a place you return for the quality of a simple product, the arrosticini, expertly prepared and accompanied by side dishes and extra virgin olive oil from the owners' garden. And the welcome is genuine, homely. It feels like being welcomed into a friend's home. I recommend all lovers of arrosticini and Abruzzo products to dine here at least once: you'll be delighted. And probably, as we certainly will despite the distance, you'll return.

21/10/2025: Excellent seafood restaurant. The waitresses are knowledgeable and friendly. It's a pleasant conversation with the owner. The food is excellent and the portions are generous. Excellent value. Highly recommended...remember to book several days in advance!

19/10/2025: A small seafood restaurant in a beach resort. The fish was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection, using a simple method to enhance rather than overwhelm the freshness of the fish—sea bream in our case. The chitarra alle vongole was cooked beautifully al dente. The dish was truly traditional and delicious, thanks to a very flavorful sauce, and I chose to accompany it with a pleasant local Cococciola. The staff, truly exquisitely courteous, had butter gnocchi made on the spot (I know, butter doesn't sound right!) for our little girl. Despite the price of the dish itself, they were very good. Even the fries, which I usually don't eat and only taste in passing, were quite good for the other kids. The waitresses, as already mentioned, were truly kind, extremely helpful, and knowledgeable. The manager was also truly friendly and courteous. For anyone passing through Ortona and enjoying fish and seafood, I highly recommend stopping by and enjoying a meal at Doppia Vela.

That feeling of being at home, knowing you won't be disappointed, that there at FUOCO 26, there will always be the highest level of attention and care, both in the food and in the customer relationship. I've returned several times and am always amazed. In a carefully curated setting that seems frozen in time, there's a gastronomic buzz that brings pleasure. 25/10/2025: I waited an hour for two pizzas. The waitresses were really kind and cheerful, but the wait was way too long. The pizza was truly spectacular, but unfortunately, I'm not sure it was worth the wait. I'll definitely be back to see if it was a coincidence or not... sorry.

The owner, a weasel, was smiling and friendly in the dining room. Compliments, truly clean, friendly environment and lots of authenticity, just what you need. 11/11/2025: This restaurant deserves a 5 in every way. Every dish is an explosion of flavors in your mouth, and there's a research and attention to detail that doesn't go unnoticed. 02/11/2025: Exceptional, excellent service. The lady in the dining room was very helpful and welcoming, making you feel at home. The food was superb; we chose the six-course tasting menu, which guests can choose from, as long as they share the same dishes for the table. Each course lived up to expectations, even more. We also really appreciated that the homemade bread, which was delicious, was brought only with the main courses, so we didn't have to fill up first and could fully appreciate each course. The wine pairing was recommended by the lady who proved to be extremely knowledgeable. High-end dining with excellent value.
