03/12/2025: December 3, 2025 We had dinner at this place, discovered by chance while looking for a good place to eat arrosticini in Pescara (we're local), but we wanted to try something new. It would be pointless to simply compliment it, because we've never eaten so well. The mixed bruschetta was truly exceptional: lard, ventricina, sausage, tomato and basil, capocollo... We also ate handmade arrosticini with liver and onion. I can only say that I didn't take any initial photos because we were so indulging in all that deliciousness. For dessert, we chose a deconstructed lemon cheesecake and a tiramisu, slightly revisited by them but extremely delicious. The cheesecake cream was very light, tasty, simple, and impressive! I highly recommend the place. We'll be back soon, and thank you so much for this wonderful culinary experience.

21/10/2025: Excellent seafood restaurant. The waitresses are knowledgeable and friendly. It's a pleasant conversation with the owner. The food is excellent and the portions are generous. Excellent value. Highly recommended...remember to book several days in advance!

19/10/2025: A small seafood restaurant in a beach resort. The fish was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection, using a simple method to enhance rather than overwhelm the freshness of the fish—sea bream in our case. The chitarra alle vongole was cooked beautifully al dente. The dish was truly traditional and delicious, thanks to a very flavorful sauce, and I chose to accompany it with a pleasant local Cococciola. The staff, truly exquisitely courteous, had butter gnocchi made on the spot (I know, butter doesn't sound right!) for our little girl. Despite the price of the dish itself, they were very good. Even the fries, which I usually don't eat and only taste in passing, were quite good for the other kids. The waitresses, as already mentioned, were truly kind, extremely helpful, and knowledgeable. The manager was also truly friendly and courteous. For anyone passing through Ortona and enjoying fish and seafood, I highly recommend stopping by and enjoying a meal at Doppia Vela.

30/11/2025: We celebrated my mom's retirement party here; and Raffaella, the owner, was very kind and helpful with organizing everything! The food was delicious and plentiful, the organization impeccable, and above all, professional! Thank you so much for everything ☺️

05/10/2025: Today I had the pleasure of lunch at Emiliano's La Fuocina, and it was a truly memorable experience. I tasted a full-blood Wagyu "Italia" rib-eye steak that was simply extraordinary: a unique, tender meat, perfectly marbled, with an intense and refined flavor. An absolute delight, never tasted before! And not just the meat: the appetizers and first courses were also meticulously prepared, balanced, and bursting with flavor. All this was accompanied by attentive and friendly service, which made the day even more enjoyable. This restaurant is absolutely worth a try, and I recommend it without hesitation to anyone who loves good food and authentic gastronomic experiences.

20/12/2025: Never again! .. extremely slow service .. the arrosticini are good but the bruschetta is mediocre .. he is a character who stuns you with too many words and then cheats you on the bill .. be careful!

06/01/2026: We came as a couple and found a wonderful atmosphere with excellent staff and the owner. We had lunch with a delicious house antipasto, first courses of homemade fettuccine with lamb sauce (Sublime), and a main course of excellent roast lamb with scamorza and prosciutto. Homemade desserts, homemade amaro. What can I say... Giving five stars seems like an understatement, they deserve a constellation. Congratulations and well done, the pride of Abruzzo cuisine. Highly recommended, excellent price.

20/12/2025: We visited this restaurant for lunch. From the moment we arrived, we were pleasantly impressed by the exterior, the attention to detail, and the cleanliness of the place. As soon as we entered, we were greeted with excellent service. Having a daughter with celiac disease and a child with allergies, we were very concerned, but I must say that from the moment we ordered, they made us feel at ease and confident. Delicious food, excellent value for money. Highly recommended. The kitchen's attentiveness and expertise regarding allergies and gluten-free options are an added bonus.
