30/03/2025: Place located in the center of the small village of Calavino. The restaurant is clearly visible from the street. It has a long history behind it: a history of dedication and love for catering. Recently passed into the hands of another owner, it has not changed the quality of its dishes and above all the prices one iota. Pocherino is definitely an excellent option for being able to taste several first courses at the same time. Excellent salted meat, well cut and well cooked. The place is a bit rustic, perhaps a few small details could be updated, but overall it is well kept. Nice waiters. Amazing prices to say the least: you can no longer find such low prices with high quality around. Even for those who are out of the area, I recommend coming and trying the dishes at Cipri!

21/06/2025: Very beautiful and quiet location. Wonderful terrace with a canopy of leaves. The dishes are prepared with love. Very good. Service was very friendly. We would be happy to come back.

04/06/2025: We have been visiting the Seele Hotel – now Hi Hotel – regularly since its beginnings and have almost considered it our second home. The warm atmosphere, the loving surroundings, and the consistently immaculate cleanliness have delighted us time and again. We returned several times a year because we knew: Here, you feel welcome, here, you feel comfortable. A week ago, we visited the new owners for the first time. We were full of anticipation, but unfortunately, this was quickly dampened. The familiar feeling of "arriving" simply didn't seem to materialize this time. Everything suddenly seemed very cold, distant, and almost impersonal. The warm, family-like atmosphere that we had enjoyed so much over the years was gone. Unfortunately, our room had several defects that further spoiled the overall impression: The door seal was broken, making it difficult to close properly. The toilet paper holder was loose and about to fall off the wall, and the fact that they now charge an extra €15 per day for parking doesn't make things any better. The breakfast remained fundamentally the same, but the small, loving touches that once made it so special were missing, such as the homemade cake and the lovingly prepared scrambled or fried eggs. Instead, there was a ready-made scrambled egg, which seemed uninviting and, unfortunately, didn't taste great either. Overall, the hotel has changed a lot, at least in our experience. In the past, the hotel was regularly renovated and maintained; everything was thought out down to the last detail and in perfect condition. Unfortunately, that no longer seems to be a top priority. Of course, we are aware that things change, but sometimes it's a shame when so much warmth and attention to detail is lost in the process. We look back with great gratitude on the many wonderful stays we were able to experience at the Seele Hotel under the previous management. However, after this last visit, it seems unlikely that we will return again.

30/05/2025: Trotzdem das Restaurant sehr voll war, klappte es mit dem Service und den Berichten einwandfrei. Wir waren begeistert von der schnellen Handhabung und trotzdem sehr guten Qualität der Gerichte. Die Pizza war eine der besten, meine Frau hatte Gnocchi mit Parmesan und Trüffel. Beides war sehr zu empfehlen.

10/06/2025: Beautiful experience: the castle was taken over thanks to the initiative of the citizens of Pergine and can now be visited. The bar, restaurant and hotel services have been recovered and continued in this fairy-tale setting. Unlike what you might imagine, the prices are truly 'popular' as there is no luxury and the hotel structure is very simple, within the reach of all those who are not looking for luxury but a truly extraordinary experience in a real and historic manor. The offer of various types of events that can be enjoyed throughout the year is also very interesting. Truly, congratulations and infinite thanks to all those who have been able to make this wonderful recovery possible.

01/06/2025: Today we took a guided tour of the castle, the volunteer who acted as our guide was kind, knowledgeable and available to answer questions and curiosities. The castle is beautiful, with breathtaking views. We will return to try the hotel and restaurant, only one star because it has no TV in the rooms and poor Wi-Fi, it seemed crazy to us, the beauty of the rooms and the hotel does not need either. 08/06/2025: Pranzo con piatto del boscaiolo (il formaggio che buono comunque il miglior piatto di questo genere mai provato) e panna cotta con frutti di bosco. Servizio rapido e cortese. Prezzo onesto. Lo stra consiglio, ci torneremo, raccomando prenotazione!

26/06/2025: i just loved this place. beautiful location - part inside, part in a small piazza and part in an alley. perfect service, excellent food. i had the out of the menu fiori di zucca that were probably the best i ever had, and the pigeon with strawberry coulis and the creme brule for desert. the somalier understood perfectly my taste and suggested me the most amazing Umbrian wine, with which i fell in love. the price is absolutely justified and i will certainly come back, hopefully soon! grazie!

22/06/2025: Beautiful and intimate place, kind and attentive staff. However, I feel like giving 3 stars because I found some incorrectness in my opinion. It is not our habit to ask the prices of everything before ordering, but if two glasses of welcome bubbles cost 15 euros per glass it would be nice of them to inform us. As well as off-menu appetizers, if their price differs greatly from the other appetizers on the menu it would be right to be informed, so perhaps to be aware that the tartare cost 28 euros. We ate well anyway, the dishes were well made, but still they do not justify the 115 euros spent per person (wine for 45).

03/05/2025: Tappa obbligatoria,veniamo spesso ad Assisi perché ci piace la pace che si respira in questo luogo. Al di là dell' essere o meno credenti. Da Bibenda risolviamo sempre un pranzetto o aperitivo cena con affettati torta al testo,bruschette con olio superlativo. Vini altrettanto superlativi,una vera esperienza.

29/04/2025: Conosciamo Nila ormai da 6 anni e da 6 anni quasi tutti gli anni veniamo qui per fare aperitivo lungo. Nila oltre che essere ormai una amica è anche una esperta Sommelier e vi saprà consigliare i più buoni vini di Assisi e della Regione Umbria. Merita veramente ❤️. A presto!

We chose this place almost randomly but not only did we enjoy excellent food prepared with care, imagination and excellent ingredients. The added value was certainly the cordiality, friendliness and professionalism of the two waiters who deserve all our compliments and thanks

23/06/2025: A true corner of paradise discovered a few years ago and, after the last stay, I can only reconfirm its beauty. The staff is always super welcoming and helpful, while the location is beautiful and well-kept. The restaurant and the breakfast buffet full of high-quality products are also excellent. Highly recommended.
