22/05/2025: Sono passato da Vaniglia Gelateria e l’esperienza è stata un disastro sotto ogni punto di vista.
Ho chiesto una sola pallina di gelato su cono piccolo. Mi sono ritrovato a pagare 3 euro. Alla mia domanda – educata – sul perché di un prezzo così alto per una sola pallina, mi è stato risposto in modo frettoloso e maleducato: “Lei paga una porzione, non una pallina”. Tonalità altezzosa, quasi infastidita.
Davvero assurdo, considerando la quantità ridicola di gelato servita.
Ma il peggio non è neanche questo.
Il gelato alla nocciola “del Piemonte” era insapore, stantio, industriale, completamente privo di quella rotondità e intensità che ci si aspetta da un prodotto Igp. E non è una mia impressione: il Tribunale di Vicenza ha già condannato questa gelateria per l’uso ingannevole dell’etichetta “nocciola del Piemonte”. Altro che artigianale: qui si vendono illusioni, non qualità.
E poi, l’ambiente.
Personale scortese, molto scortese. La commessa non rispetta la fila, guarda i clienti con sufficienza, e sembra fare uno sforzo enorme anche solo a parlare. Zero sorriso, zero accoglienza. Pare di entrare in un posto dove nessuno vuole davvero essere lì. Le ragazze al banco sembrano sfinite, stremate, svuotate: un’energia grigia che trasmette disagio. Clima tossico, quasi da sfruttamento. Altro che gioia del gelato.
Consiglio spassionato al titolare: fate fare un corso serio di educazione e gestione clienti al personale. Serve professionalità, non atteggiamenti supponenti e scontrosi. Per 3 euro mi aspettavo almeno di non sentirmi sgradito.
Mai più. Gelateria da evitare.
21/05/2025: I went to Vaniglia Gelateria attracted by the “Piemontese” hazelnut gelato. I expected an authentic experience, but the result was something else. The flavor was flat, watered down, without the warmth and rich aroma typical of real IGP hazelnuts: it was clear from the first taste that these were neither fine hazelnuts nor a valuable artisanal product.
And the issue is not just mine: the Vicenza court ruled that the “Piedmont hazelnut” label was misleading, because the product did not contain entirely Piedmontese hazelnuts or IGP certification

. It is a mockery to present such a spartan flavor with a name that promises very high value.
Then there is the atmosphere in the store: the girls at the counter were clearly exhausted, visibly stressed — zero smiles, zero enthusiasm. An attitude of someone with low morale, almost like a worker on a chain, with an obvious workload and no motivation. It is not an isolated impression: a review on Tripadvisor tells of a girl who was "rude, nervous, who did not greet and answered rudely for no reason"

. I do not know if it is modern slavery, but the environment is certainly not welcoming, nor human.
In summary:
Flavor: disappointing, lacking in personality and far from the "Piemontese" promise
Labeling: misleading, as confirmed by the sentence
Staff: visibly exhausted, oppressive atmosphere
I recommend avoiding this ice cream shop: behind a high-sounding label hides a mediocre quality ice cream and a sad routine atmosphere. Better to look elsewhere for a genuine, authentic and more respectful experience both for the consumer and the people who work there.

05/04/2025: I'm putting one star because the system doesn't allow you not to put even one, otherwise the most correct review would be a 0.
There are three of us and we order two coffees. The lady is obviously resentful that I didn't take anything, and when she brings us coffees she doesn't even respond to our "thank you". I ask to use the bathroom and the lady rudely informs me that I would have to pay 50 cents because I didn't use anything. I point out that in any case there was a consumption of the group, and I inform you that I also work in catering and have never heard of anything like this. Nothing to do, I couldn't use the toilet.
The two coffees were paid €3.60 and were advanced because they were terrible.
A failure on every front.
07/03/2025: Friday March 7, 25 at lunchtime. Espresso / extra class - almond biscuits or something similar / can be seen in the photo - just good - service lady nice and friendly - came here on the recommendation of local citizens - thank you to the 2 Alpini gentlemen - many thanks to the restaurant - everything is fine - 💁🇦🇹🙋 greet you - oops - using the toilet was no problem either - super clean ☀️🤝 . With the best will in the world, we can't understand the negative reviews - but: an 🇦🇹 Austrian proverb says: ** as you shout (call) into the forest - that's how the echo comes back - rules of etiquette have probably been forgotten.
