Went to Trattoria ai Cugnai dal 1911 for lunch today without a reservation and they still managed to fit us in which we really appreciated. We had the gnocchi and the fish lasagna and both were genuinely very good. The fish lasagna was the standout for me. Staff were so friendly and service was welcoming and relaxed, and the place felt so authentic. Would happily go back when I visit Venice again.

Exactly what I hoped for: delicious food, friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere. The fried squid was delicious. I would definitely come back next time I'm in Venice!

Delicious food, absolutely no complaints. The service was excellent too. If we were to stay longer in Venice, we wouldn't eat anywhere else.

We had their yummy Fish of the day👌 and Spaghetti with Pesto. Taste was extremely good but we felt there are less vegetarian options to choose from.

Great place! Service was fast. Food is great. Our gondola driver recommended this place for seafood. It was about to rain so they made the outdoor dining area covered.

16/04/2026: Good, beautiful setting, but like many others, I prefer the spaghetti with clams, dill, parsley, and a little apple cider vinegar. I also really missed the garlic and paprika. However, the desserts are definitely worth trying, very delicate, and what more can I say?
11/04/2026: Whether you're with friends or as a couple, here you'll find the best bar service and cicchetti in a relaxed atmosphere!

06/12/2025: A small place with a few seats for pizza. Pizza is good, every item (as of December 7, 2025) is under 10 euros. The Diavola and the Diavola Gorgonzola are excellent. 10/10 We highly recommend it. English below. Small pizzeria with a few seats to eat, mostly for takeaway. 10/10 pizza. Menu below 10 euros. The chef is very nice and humble. 10/10 place to recommend.
