DONA ONESTA In Venezia

This was our favorite meal in Venice! The food was fabulous. We had bruschetta, grilled salmon, and arrabbiata, along with the house white and red wine. I made reservations a couple of months ahead and made sure to make the note that we wanted to sit on the terrace. It is a tight squeeze, but once seated, the view and experience are lovely. The staff were very attentive and friendly, even though we weren't directly accessible inside the restaurant like the other guests they constantly checked in. The price was extremely reasonable, no way you could get a meal like this in the United States at the same cost. I couldn't recommend a restaurant more!

Ideal for two for a romantic evening on the narrow balcony. The food was very good, but it could be a little more for a full-grown man.

I visited this restaurant twice in 4 days in Venice. Great atmosphere, very nice professional staff. We ate rhombo...delicious. All other dishes very tasty. I will come back there for sure. Regards, Mario

Overall a good experience. We walked in around 7pm on Monday and got a table for four without booking. The bruschetta and penne arrabiatta were delicious. We did ask for more garlic and chilly for the pasta but didn’t see any trace of it. The panna cotta with berry was delicious, highly recommended this dish.

The food is delicious, try the spaghetti with cuttlefish. The staff was friendly, 2 Georgian and 1 Tunisian waiter served. Health to your hands

Abbiamo prenotato dopo aver letto le recensioni di Tripadvisor. All'entrata il locale si presenta non grande e con un ambiente caldo, veniamo accolti da un ragazzo ed una ragazza entrambi sorridenti. Dopo aver consultato il menu chiediamo un antipasto misto, una frittura di pesce e le bevande (acqua e vino). Il ragazzo che ci ha fatti accomodare prende anche l'ordinazione e molto gentilmente ci spiega cosa include l'antipasto, vedendoci molto interessati ad una pietanza inclusa,a sorpresa, ha fatto impiattare una piccola porzione aggiuntiva così da permetterci l'assaggio ad entrambi (è stato un gesto molto carino che abbiamo apprezzato tanto!). Piu volte il personale di sala si è sincerato che tutto fosse andato bene. Cibo ottimo, porzioni giuste e prezzo congruo al luogo dove siamo. Siamo contenti di aver scelto questo locale e saremmo anche tornati ma la sosta a Venezia è stata breve, sicuramente non mancheranno altre occasioni!!
