07/09/2025: My wife and I had dinner at Il Cavallino in Quinto di Treviso, a trattoria that struck us with its welcoming and informal atmosphere. The restaurant is very charming and spacious, ideal for a pleasant evening where you can feel at ease. We chose the seafood menu and were extremely satisfied. We ordered two mixed appetizers and a scallops, two main courses, a side dish, a quarter of wine, water, two desserts, and a coffee. The quality of the dishes is excellent and the portions are generous, perfect for those who, like us, don't want to leave the restaurant feeling hungry. The staff was very friendly and the service was quick, another plus for this trattoria. The biggest surprise was the bill: for everything we ate, we spent just over €70 for two, excellent value. I highly recommend booking. It fills up quickly, especially on weekends.

27/09/2025: Gorgeous place, perfect welcome! Attention to every detail. We had battered meat, egg, and creamed cod as appetizers...all superb! Followed by a gorgeous risotto, veal with tuna sauce, and a steak...all delicious. The added value is the attentive and smiling staff, and the owner who takes care of the grill and the meat in front of his fireplace... ❤️ Absolutely recommended, we'll be back...

I fully understand that these accidents can happen, but at a restaurant like this, these incidents are particularly annoying. Overall, a great experience.

11/08/2025: Excellent hospitality and a clean, tidy, and welcoming atmosphere. Truly excellent value, with dishes, both restaurant-style and pizzeria-style, well-prepared and decidedly generous. In my personal experience, I was happy to pay a very reasonable bill at the end of the dinner. If you're in the area, take advantage of it.

27/07/2025: The restaurant is spacious and well-served by friendly, helpful, and professional staff. We ate an excellent mixed fried fish platter at a great price. I'd happily give it five stars, but we had to dine with four flies stuck to the window, taking turns hovering over our table. I don't think this is a sign of hygiene neglect; it can happen. We'll definitely be back, hoping the inconvenience doesn't happen again.

14/09/2025: Very nice pizzeria, and the people who work there were super nice. The pizza was good, and the Prosecco was excellent, with a beautiful view. I recommend going, you won't regret it.

17/09/2025: Traditional local dishes prepared with care and flavor. Excellent gnocchi. Fresh and delicious octopus served with vegetables. Appropriately high-quality bottled wine is also available. The interior space is faithful to the area's history, with a recently completed ground-floor extension that reinforces its traditional character. The extraordinary part is the exterior, on the beautiful Piazza Flaminio, bordered by the inexhaustible and sparkling Meschio River, by exquisite Venetian palaces (the Cenedese Museum and the enchanting clock tower), and by the explosive greenery of the surrounding hills. Friendly staff. Excellent prices.

The staff is very friendly; they asked if we were having dinner before the concert that evening, and they sent our order ahead of everyone else after we said yes. The service was quick and very helpful in resolving a small misunderstanding while ordering a pizza. The prices were fair and the food was good. Highly recommended.

17/09/2025: Let's just say I give a passing grade for the ambience, which is very pleasant and well-designed, and the service. But the food, in my humble opinion, isn't up to par: too many dishes are either bland or downright poorly conceived, with one exception (the lobster and summer truffle risotto, which was truly delicious). For the price, I definitely expect more.

10/09/2025: Super delicious food and lovely spot. Stumbled in late and damp after a day of hiking and the two people working there (I think the owners?) started offering me things in Italian. I don’t speak Italian and they don’t speak English, so I didn’t know exactly what I’d get, but both the lasagna and pork turned out to be absolutely wonderful - fresh ingredients, flavourful and and well cooked, plus good prosecco! Reasonable price, too.

08/09/2025: This looks like a little bar. Think again. It has the best meat dishes I’ve ever tasted. We couldn’t speak a word of Italian but google translate helped. Seriously you want a slice of Italy. Visit this place. Thanks to the staff. Parking in the church square abundant. Prosecco of the finest quality. I they have an instergram page.
