03/04/2025: The pizza looks very good (beautiful), the ingredients are excellent, but in my opinion the dough needs to be reviewed (too chewy, typical of true Neapolitan: I would suggest the use of semi-wholemeal flour with sourdough and a long leavening) and the oven needs to be cleaned well because otherwise the pizza will burn underneath and smell burnt.

26/01/2025: Dopo tanti anni , la curiosità mi ha spinto a portare alcuni amici ( intenditori appassionati di cucina ) alla trattoria Al Boccolo. Ambiente carino ed accogliente, personale gentile e talvolta fin troppo disponibile. Piatti originali e realizzati con materie prime di grande qualità , ricca lista di vini e selezioni d’olio eccellenti. Anche i dolci ci hanno sorpreso positivamente. Prezzi certamente non da trattoria ma in linea con la qualità dei piatti e del servizio offerto. Due soli dettagli , sui cui far riflettere i gestori: la presenza di un profumatore automatico posizionato vicino al nostro tavolo , che alterava leggermente il profumo delle pietanze servite e la temperatura dei piatti (stoviglie) che sarebbe stato preferibile servire leggermente riscaldati. Si tratta certamente di piccoli dettagli, che non influiscono nella valutazione generale ; 5 STELLE.

24/03/2025: Last Sunday, for my birthday, I booked a table at the Al Girasole restaurant. A place where I had already been several times, always with an excellent experience. There were 7 of us, 2 of whom were children. The chaos was quite worrying. Nothing to complain about regarding the skill of the staff who rushed between the tables trying to do their best like the goddess Kali with 4 arms! Not to mention the poor lady in charge of orders! Monumental! After 45 minutes of waiting we finally place the orders. So 1.15pm. 2.15pm the first courses arrive for 3 diners. The rest of the participants wait anxiously. I would like to point out that there is not even a shadow of half a portion of pasta all'olio for a 4 year old child who had priority! The second courses arrive, always for the 3 lucky diners, and the 4 of us look at them with a certain greed. At this point I start to get nervous and call someone to at least feed the creature! A thousand apologies and I get a small plate of penne all'olio with no salt at all. And finally the appetizers arrive for the 3 of us who were about to eat the edge of the table. Nothing to say about the quality of the dishes, apart from a fish risotto that I was told was very salty. But at least that arrived at the table! But here comes the twist! At 2.30pm the poor lady in charge of ordering embarrassingly announces that the 3 slices of red tuna that we ordered at 1.15pm are finished! Ole! At that point, long live the diet! Exhausted from the wait, we give up the alternative second courses fearing we'll be 5pm! As an apology, they bring us a plate with slices of focaccia. Summary: out of 7 diners, 3 have eaten. 3 have had the appetizer and that's it. The child 1 small plate of pasta all'olio with no salt after almost 2 hours of waiting fooled with tons of bread from the baskets. All from 12:30 to 15:15 approximately. I very politely paid and we left. What else to say? Let posterity judge!

24/03/2025: Domenica scorsa, in occasione del mio compleanno, ho prenotato un tavolo presso il ristorante Al Girasole. Struttura dove ero già stata più volte sempre con un' ottima esperienza. Eravamo in 7 di cui 2 bambini. Il caos era piuttosto preoccupante. Nulla da eccepire per quanto riguarda la bravura del personale che si scapicollava tra i tavoli cercando di fare il meglio possibile tipo la dea Kalì dalle 4 braccia! Per non parlare della povera signora addetta alle comande! Da monumento! Dopo 45 minuti di attesa finalmente facciamo le ordinazioni. Quindi ore 13.15. Ore 14.15 arrivano i primi per 3 commensali. Il resto dei partecipanti attende trepidante. Sottolineo che di mezza porzione di pasta all' olio per un bambino di 4 anni che aveva la priorità neanche l ombra! Arrivano i secondi sempre per i 3 fortunati commensali e noi 4 li guardiamo con una certa avidità. A questo punto inizio a innervosirmi e chiamo qualcuno almeno per sfamare la creatura! Mille scuse e mi arriva un piattino di penne all' olio totalmente prive di sale. E finalmente arrivano gli antipasti per noi 3 che stavamo per mangiare il bordo del tavolo. Nulla da dire per quanto riguarda la qualità dei piatti, a parte un risotto di pesce che mi hanno riferito salatissimo. Ma almeno quello è arrivato al tavolo! Ma ecco che arriva il colpo di scena! Alle 14.30 la povera signora delle comande ci annuncia imbarazzatissima che le 3 tagliate di tonno rosso che abbiamo ordinato alle 13.15 sono finite! Olè! A quel punto evviva la dieta! Stremati dall' attesa rinunciamo ai secondi alternativi temendo di fare le 17! Ci portano per scusarsi un piatto con delle fette di focaccia. Riassunto: su 7 commensali 3 hanno mangiato. 3 hanno avuto l antipasto e basta. Il bambino 1 piattino di pasta all'olio senza sale dopo quasi 2 ore di attesa ingannata con quintali di pane dei cestini. Il tutto dalle 12.30 alle 15. 15 circa. Ho molto signorilmente pagato e siamo andati via. Che altro dire? Ai posteri l' ardua sentenza!

04/03/2025: Professional, friendly and always available staff. Excellent breakfast as well as the location for traffic and motorway connections. Cozy and clean rooms. Beds as comfortable as the pillows provided. Cozy environment. There are several excellent restaurants nearby within a 5km radius to satisfy various needs or tastes. For those who love running or walking there is a path with entrance from the back of the hotel near the external car parks.

22/03/2025: In the middle of nowhere just outside Bassano del Grappa there is a Mr. Local who on a Monday evening was able to offer a great satisfaction. Let it be clear that without GMaps we would never have been able to find it and obviously the choice fell on the restaurant with the most reviews in the area: L'antica Abbazia. A place full of people for a beautiful, large and organized place. Between Burgers, cuisine and pizza the choice is wide and the quality, at least that of the pizza, is remarkable. Marked in the local favorites to test their cuisine. Well done!

19/03/2025: I'll start by saying that the food was good and the place was well-kept, even if it was a bit cold and the bathrooms were cramped and not adequate for the size of the place (luckily there weren't many people). What was absurd was the service! All sorts of things happened...waitresses arguing with each other at the table, dishes arriving in an absolutely confusing way (a large table with kitchen and pizza) because some pizzas arrived 7/8 minutes before the others and the kitchen was completely forgotten. In fact, after an appetizer that arrived at the same time as the pizza, the second course arrived at least 15 minutes after we had ALL finished the pizza. And after 2 reminders. Finally, I'll add that we had to ask for a jug of beer 4 times and it arrived when we had practically finished the pizza. Luckily, we are from Veneto and it didn't go to waste. Unanimous opinion of the table (25 people): never again! P.S. for the whole table, 2 little bags of bread with 3 slices inside?!? Are you kidding?!? See the photo...

12/04/2025: Great restaurant with lots of great pizzas and also very fine fish dishes. Spaghetti Vongole is highly recommended and Spaghetti Scolio with seafood is also simply great. The service is also very friendly and attentive and the prices are very acceptable for the quality and not exorbitant. Will definitely come back to Corona d'Oro.
