Generalmente non scrivo mai recensioni negative per rispetto di chi ci lavora, ma in questo caso non posso esimermi dal farlo.
Nulla da dire sulla qualità dei prodotti ma il rapporto qualità prezzo complessivo non è compatibile con tutto il resto.
Il coperto di 4 euro per una mise en place a dir poco da self servire mi sembra eccessivo come anche il prezzo dei singoli calici.
Credo in buona sostanza che ci sia confusione tra l'identità agricola e la pretesa di una ristorazione di alto livello.
20/07/2025: Un’esperienza dal potenziale inespresso
La prima impressione, all’ingresso, è stata molto positiva: un luogo suggestivo, che prometteva un’immersione autentica nei sapori della montagna e nei profumi genuini della cucina contadina. Un’atmosfera che lascia presagire una bella esperienza, legata alla tradizione e all’identità del territorio.
Purtroppo, una volta seduti, le aspettative hanno iniziato progressivamente a sgonfiarsi. La trasformazione di un agriturismo o di una realtà rurale in un ristorante di ispirazione gastronomica può essere interessante, ma comporta delle scelte delicate: il rischio è quello di smarrire l’anima originaria senza acquisire davvero i fondamenti dell’alta ristorazione. In questo caso, si è forse preteso troppo, senza però possedere le basi necessarie per sostenere una proposta gourmet. È bene ricordare che agriturismo e ristorante gastronomico sono due mondi distinti, entrambi validi, ma che devono mantenere coerenza e chiarezza nella propria identità.
Vorrei elencare alcuni aspetti critici riscontrati durante la serata, con l’auspicio che possano essere letti in ottica costruttiva:
1. Servizio e preparazione del personale:
La serata è iniziata con un approccio poco professionale da parte del presunto sommelier, che non appartiene né ad AIS né a FISAR. Alla richiesta di informazioni su un vino in carta, non è stato in grado di specificarne né il blend né il processo di maturazione. La risposta data a un commensale, sommelier AIS di terzo livello, è stata addirittura sprezzante, definendo i corsi AIS come “da principianti” – un’affermazione fuori luogo e irrispettosa verso una delle istituzioni più serie nel panorama della sommellerie italiana.
2. Proposta gastronomica discutibile:
Tra gli antipasti, è stata proposta una semplice insalata in foglia come piatto a sé, a un prezzo di 24€. Sebbene prodotta internamente, definirla antipasto è fuorviante: ci si aspetta un piatto pensato, con equilibrio, tecnica e sostanza, non un elemento da contorno elevato a portata principale. L’impressione è quella di una proposta sbilanciata, più vicina all’autocelebrazione che a una reale valorizzazione della materia prima.
3. Servizio disattento:
L’acqua è stata servita calda, il servizio al tavolo approssimativo e con una mise en place gestita in modalità quasi self-service. Se si sceglie di elevare il livello della cucina e dei prezzi, è fondamentale che il servizio sia all’altezza: la coerenza tra proposta e accoglienza è essenziale. Altrimenti, si rimane agriturismo nei fatti, ma con un listino da fine dining.
4. Gestione delle criticità:
Abbiamo segnalato più volte l’insoddisfazione per l’antipasto (insalata), lasciato a metà. Nessun riscontro da parte dello staff, nessuna attenzione o tentativo di mediazione: il piatto è stato regolarmente conteggiato nel conto, il che è formalmente corretto, ma umanamente poco elegante. L’empatia e la disponibilità all’ascolto sono elementi imprescindibili in qualsiasi contesto di ospitalità.
Nota positiva:
I formaggi sono di livello decisamente alto e meritano attenzione. Tuttavia, in un ristorante, ciò che si cerca è la valorizzazione della materia prima attraverso la trasformazione, l’idea, la tecnica. Ottimi prodotti si possono trovare anche in uno spaccio aziendale o in una bottega con degustazione. In un ristorante, ci si aspetta un’esperienza, non solo un assaggio.

Conclusione:
Il luogo ha indubbiamente fascino e potenziale, ma l’identità del progetto andrebbe rivista in modo più chiaro e coerente. Se si desidera restare fedeli all’anima rurale e agricola, è giusto farlo con autenticità. Se invece si vuole intraprendere una strada gastronomica, occorrono professionalità, competenze solide e, soprattutto, rispetto per chi si avvicina con curiosità e aspettative.

03/03/2025: Review is only for the restaurant which served us two good pasta which were good, and two desserts which were only mediocre and seemed not to be homemade, although I may be wrong. Cost including water and 0.5 litre wine was 50 euro, a little on the high side for the standard. Service was very friendly though and we felt welcome. It is an option for the area if you are staying nearby.

29/05/2025: I leave one star out of human pity. I wonder if we were unlucky or if those who write reviews and give 5 stars are totally devoid of critical sense and discernment.
Snail dinner:
Absurd service: 4 rounds to bring back one snail (or 2) at a time, insisting on appetizers, since the only good course was the snails à la bourguignonne (obviously no seconds were offered on those). Appetizers and so-called "first course" practically identical and tasteless: chopped snails with a "nervetti-style" consistency, with a tasteless/watered-down sauce; the difference was that the appetizer was unpleasantly cold, while the polenta was unpleasantly lukewarm.
No interesting pairings: not with some sauce or cheese, not with a crouton or whatever... a thousand other possible ideas: appetizer with an unseasoned radish in the center that had nothing to do with it, rolls of rancid bacon (neither crunchy nor tasty... practically boiled...). Side dishes, or rather, side dishes: terrine of cabbages in the middle of the table, without a plate for vegetables (were they perhaps to be mixed with the polenta, since there was no alternative?). Red wine in bulk "not bad", just to try to find a sufficient, the rest I asked myself a question: "but how can you propose a dinner like that? Taking away the decent bourguignonne course, the rest... if we pay 25 euros per person it's a steal"... so I thought. The bill, which I attach, is shocking: 45 euros per person!!!!!!!!! There are those who work hard to afford a dinner, it is useless to offer the abundant bitter at the counter, because the focus is on those who are gentlemen and do not express themselves (because they do not distinguish, or out of pity?). Well, I am still a lady, precisely because, unlike many who are considerate or modest, I ALWAYS exercise in every context, the constitutional freedom of opinion and also of expression.
So "no comment, dinner to forget" could have been enough, instead I spent my time helping those who love quality and investing the hard-earned money in something tasty and emotionally valid. I attach the incredible bill. The human race works like a flock of sheep, but not all follow the poor specimens that have fallen into the ravine. Of course, the latest events of these years demonstrate that the black sheep or "colored" as I call them, are few, but they bleat in an effective way, sometimes, against the various wolves, dangers, or ravines. Not all line up with their heads bowed. Even
Digital transhumanism is extinguishing critical thinking, in many, but: in some it even accentuates it, instead!
Rather than so many tasteless and even ugly to look at dishes (no color, no aesthetic care in the plating), one well-prepared and well-accompanied dish would have been enough!!! I remember very well the snails that my mother used to make (she wasn't a chef, but if there is quality and a little love in doing it, good results naturally follow): simple but well cooked, with a thick sauce, well blended and very tasty!!! I expect a consolation that compensates of some kind, like an excellent dinner, and with an adequate price, I hope soon (certainly elsewhere!), if karma exists, otherwise let's invent it ourselves.. !! Long live freedom, always!
Invest your time and money well: life is short anyway because it passes and must be lived intensely and, where possible, choosing quality.
Ah...the dessert wasn't homemade, but at least...it didn't contain the revisited minced snails...

31/08/2025: It's a shame there's no dining option. You can only buy your pizza here, but they basically deliver. The pizzas are delicious and not expensive at all. There's a World War I memorial park nearby, so you can eat your food there.

06/09/2025: After our originally booked accommodation was overbooked, the landlord sent us to this wonderful hotel. We received a very warm welcome from Mikele! He accommodated us at short notice and more than fulfilled our room requests! Wow, what a fantastic view from the room on the third floor! Five of us were here for mountaineering. The hotel is in a great location for climbing the Sexten Dolomites and then relaxing in the wellness area. A place where you feel at home and feel very welcome! Thank you so much, Mikele, for the magical stay!

03/07/2025: Negative experience – Beware of unjustified price increases
Yesterday in the late afternoon I went to self-service refueling, inserting my debit card with the intention of filling up at the displayed price of €1.64/L. After selecting the pump, a petrol station attendant appeared and, without me having asked for any help, decided to intervene personally. He inserted the fuel nozzle into my car and pressed the truck symbol on the display.
After blocking the nozzle, I let the refueling complete.
Right away I noticed that the amount was going up well above what I usually spend for a full tank. The car wasn't even in reserve, yet the total was much higher than any other refueling done in the last 10 years with this car.
I then moved to make room for the others in line and, having not asked for a receipt when paying with a debit card, I wrote down the data from the board to try to understand what had happened. In the end I calculated that I paid 58 euros for about 25 liters, that is, 2.32 €/L instead of 1.64 €/L as indicated.
Even if a different price was foreseen for "assisted" refueling (which I had not requested anyway), such a difference is absolutely unjustifiable.
Unfortunately, since I did not have a receipt, I was unable to ask the attendant directly for explanations. The only thing I can do is leave this review, hoping that it will be read by those who manage the station.
I really hope that similar situations do not happen often to other customers. It is not so much for the 15 euros more, but for the feeling of having been cheated for no reason.

13/10/2025: We arrived at this hotel and the welcome wasn't bad at first, but then the problem arose in the restaurant. The waiters were incredibly slow and the food was terrible.
Pasta with cooking water in it. Poor my colleague Krakken. A dear friend of mine from Matera told me to go eat at Pietra Viva in Matera and you'll eat much, much better.
26/09/2025: Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel was disappointing. The room wasn't properly cleaned: there was obvious dust and the sheets weren't fresh. The reception staff was willing to listen to the problem and promise a solution, but in reality, the room remained in the same condition throughout our stay.
Breakfast was also a negative: we asked if it was possible to have breakfast a little earlier than the scheduled time, but they said no. We were only able to have it on the last day of our stay. The selection was limited, and the lady in charge of breakfast was rude and unhelpful.
Overall, the value for money was poor. I wouldn't recommend it, nor would I return.
