04/01/2026: Stopped in for a quick cappuccino. The cream brioche is excellent, but it's a shame it's always too small for my taste. Plenty of pastries. Small place, so it can be difficult to find a seat, even though parking isn't close by.
15/11/2025: There's little to say but a lot to eat. I went for breakfast and the croissants are fantastic, the chocolates are top notch. I didn't get any pastries, but considering what I ate, I think those are worth it too. The breakfast price is good; the chocolates are pricey, but the quality is truly top-notch.

31/03/2026: I spent 15 days in Belluno for work during the Olympics, and I must say I went to this restaurant very often. It's very well-maintained and welcoming, and you feel right at home. Excellent cuisine, varied and high-quality, and they prepare delicious dishes to order! The staff is very friendly, and the quality/price ratio is excellent. I highly recommend it.

10/03/2026: Truly a beautiful place with a frozen lake and the option to skate on it.
A very well-kept restaurant with high-quality food, prices are definitely not cheap, but the service is commensurate with the cost.
04/02/2026: Really very nice to drink a hot chocolate with cream, a bombardino, a strudel (delicious), the studel and the chocolate especially after a 6 hour walk I must say quiet place, welcoming sitting outside with mushrooms and the blanket, looking at the panorama immersed in the snow really beautiful

20/03/2026: Located at the top of a convenient junction to the right of the lovely bike path just outside San Vito, Baita Ciastel welcomed us even though it was closed for maintenance. We thank the hospitality of its friendly owner, Enrico, a young and talented chef.
The enchanting location offers a spectacular view of Mount Pelmo, stretching across the pastures between the slopes of Antelao and Sorapiss. A charming location, well worth a visit. The sun bathes the hut all day, setting right in front of it.
We will gladly return.

The food was truly delicious, served promptly and in an original way—the idea of bringing the pasta directly from the pot was a lovely touch.
The only downside: the bathroom, which was small and uncomfortable. I think this space also contributes to the overall experience of a restaurant, so it's an aspect that could be improved.
Overall, though, a positive experience and one worth repeating!
12/10/2025: We were there last night. Fettuccine with porcini mushrooms. The porcini mushrooms had no flavor, the taste was bland, the garlic was missing, the flavor was lacking. All covered in tons of cream. Fettuccine was overcooked, practically mush.
Fettuccine with shrimp and scallops. The scallops were like baby scallops, and here too the flavor of the fish was lacking. And here too they added a lot of... cream!!! To the fish! The chef really lacks the basics.

All served in pots. Presentation pots? No, the aluminum pots used for cooking. So the steel fork on the aluminum pot. Congratulations!
We waited for coffee, but no one came by.

26/09/2025: A beautiful refuge, as a mountain refuge should be, in a stunning location beneath the majestic Schiara. The approach is beautiful and unpretentious. The cuisine is excellent, especially the minestrone and stew, which, being typical refuge dishes, are above-average in quality here. The real added value, however, is the kindness and helpfulness of the managers, Chiara and Fabrizio, who are truly down-to-earth and friendly. A huge thank you!

Definitely recomend booking ahead for dinner.

28/03/2026: La Tavernetta di Cortina is, in my opinion, the best pizzeria in Cortina: it undoubtedly deserves 5 stars!
I've eaten here several times, including takeout, and the quality has always been excellent. The pizzas are truly excellent, well-seasoned, and made with quality ingredients.
All the staff are friendly and helpful, always committed to ensuring fast and efficient service.
The atmosphere is welcoming and pleasant, perfect for a casual evening.
A guaranteed success every time: highly recommended for both dine-in and takeout!
