20/03/2025: Always safe in Cortina, including putting up with us at dinner, we are used to the absurd hours of Milan, until late at night without cursing ourselves!

11/03/2025: Cena di Venerdì con locale pieno.. Servizio veloce e attento. Menù vario, buona carta dei vini. Antipasto di insalata di carciofo da menzionare. Pasta di farro con coste d'argento e ricotta salata buona. Filetto di cervo ottimo. Il dolce di frutta e yogurt servito in terrina per tutti. Lagrein raddoppiato.... Da ripetere a breve.

21/02/2025: In addition to having made a mistake in typing the receipt, the waitress was particularly rude. We wanted to change a brioche, which had not yet been touched by anyone at the counter and she was annoyed first of all and then she gave us the smaller brioche on purpose, moving the larger ones placed on top.

02/03/2025: I have been frequenting the restaurant for more than 30 years and the quality and professionalism have always remained constant. Attentive and friendly service, welcoming and warm environment, traditional dishes but revisited respecting the excellent raw materials. The game in particular is cooked with skill. Excellent value for money.

30/03/2025: Quick pizza dinner with my wife. Polite and friendly staff. Tasty and well cooked pizzas. Quick service. In the end they "fixed" me with an apricot and amaretti mousse which was delicious!

18/03/2025: It was a safe heaven during a stormy snowy night. We entered and were welcomed to sit at a very cozy spot. Very fun menus with local ingredients and original pizzas. The pizza is napolitean style, which is incredibily well made for the north of italy. Flavours combine perfectly. Although the spicy pizza could have been more spicy. We also had some decadent deserts notably the stewed pear with chocolate and red wine syrup (i personally think was the star of the deserts). The service was superb, very welcoming staff, that translated everything in english for non italian speakers in our group. They even gave us some free homemade antifreeze (grappa) for our way out in the storm to get home.

08/02/2025: When possible I go to eat at Watami, otherwise I get takeaway with home delivery, they are punctual, the food is fresh and of good quality. I recommend it!

24/02/2025: We arrived at this refuge from the village of Zoppé di Cadore. A beautiful walk of, more or less, 5 km. Very quiet forest road, without effort, a beautiful up and down. The path intersects between woods and open spaces, a small "village of huts" and many deer tracks in the snow. Truly relaxing. The refuge is small and for those who want to taste the delicious dishes of mother and daughter, it is better to book in advance. All very good, the canederli are exquisite, as is the melted cheese. But in addition to the good food, friendliness and cordiality are a very welcome "side dish".

19/01/2025: Eight of us arrived following a reservation for the second shift at 1.30 pm and, after a wait due to those who were late in leaving the table occupied for the first shift at 12, we comfortably took a seat. The refuge is run by a mother and daughter who tell us about the supply difficulties due to the nervous season, but who still manage to satisfy all the orders. The goulash with dumplings and the venison with polenta were excellent, but, in general, all the dishes were appreciated and the prices are fair (I attach the menu). The daughter is certainly the most sociable and, after a bit of conversation, makes the guests feel at home. Compliments are due for the dedication of these women and for the enhancement of a refuge that still shows the genuineness of its true nature and that is not confused with the many refuges that have now become too commercial. We did not use rooms, so the 5 stars refer to the genuineness of the place.
