26/08/2025: I often come to this restaurant because the food is good: the dishes are always carefully prepared, the ingredients are excellent, and the menu offers a nice variety. The atmosphere is also pleasant and welcoming, a lovely place to spend an evening with friends. That said, I'd like to make a small, constructive observation: lately, I've noticed a decline in the hospitality and attentiveness of the wait staff. The staff, especially those who seem to manage the dining room, often seem unsmiling and lacking attention to detail. An example? When a bottle of wine is brought to the table, one expects at least a cooler with ice, which is consistently lacking. Furthermore, sometimes a slightly unusual request—like a dessert with a different topping or a slightly larger portion—is enough to receive a curt or impolite response. I fully understand that not every request can always be accommodated, but the manner in which you respond makes all the difference. The customer, in addition to enjoying good food, also contributes to supporting the restaurant financially, and a smile or a polite response should be the foundation of hospitality. My advice to the owner is to pay attention to these aspects. The food is excellent, but the overall experience also depends (and greatly) on who welcomes and serves. A good "waiter captain" makes all the difference, and right now I think someone with more vision and attention is needed. I will definitely return, because the place deserves it. But I really hope for some small improvements in the service department.

22/08/2025: We were there last week, the place is very nice. We ate meat and I must say it was all very good. The wine list is very varied and truly impressive.

20/08/2025: What a gem! Tasty dishes, a warm and welcoming vibe, and service that makes you feel like family. Even though I don’t speak Italian, the waitress was so kind and patient, she even helped us choose just the right amount of food. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Truly recommend this place. Such lovely people, such a lovely atmosphere! ❤️

21/09/2025: Lovely, pokey little pasta/ risotto spot in Venice. Tucked away, friendly service (seemingly a rarity in Venice) with fresh pasta and seafood and incredible value for money on the island. We paid €20 each, which included a glass of wine, seafood pasta and espresso. The clam spaghetti came recommended by the server and it was a beautiful, balanced, fresh dish with subtle flavours and gorgeously paired with the glass of house white. The tomato prawn (served in the shell) spaghetti is also amazing. A must-go for affordable, authentic pasta in Venice. (Bathroom was not pleasant).

23/08/2025: How wonderful! This place is a true gem on Lake Garda, perfect any time of day. I loved the relaxed atmosphere and the breathtaking view, which makes every break a special moment. I've tried both gelato and aperitivo, and I must say the quality is excellent in every way. The gelato shop offers delicious, creamy, and artisanal flavors, refreshing on hot days. The cocktails are carefully crafted, original, and well-balanced, perfect for enjoying the sunset by the lake. And the service? Impeccable! The staff is always smiling, attentive, and ready to offer advice.

16/09/2025: Dal Zoccante is synonymous with family and hospitality. It's been about 15 years since I've been back. But they've remained the same in terms of quality. The food is always very good, plentiful, and really reasonable prices. I'll keep coming back! Exceptional, as always.
