The deliberate reference to the area's history is evident and appreciated when you look at the walls, adorned with beautiful black-and-white photographs of San Donà. The small space offers a wealth of items, demonstrating the owners' generosity and dedication to customer satisfaction. Fine local wines, now rare, such as the sparkling Rabosetto, are served. The welcoming, family atmosphere is evidently the reason why people are still sitting at the table with their lunch dishes at 5 p.m. The ladies at the bar are friendly. Drinks are very reasonably priced.

The service was polite, helpful, and well-coordinated, with adequate timing despite the large number of guests, a factor that is far from a given on these occasions. The choice to highlight locally sourced products, sourced from the farm itself and the surrounding area, is commendable, confirming a philosophy rooted in authenticity and local tradition. The mixed appetizers served at the buffet were of good quality, although not all were exclusively local. The first course was a great success: • Nano Vialone PGI rice from Isola della Scala, creamed with PGI red radicchio from Verona. and sweet sausage with Monte Veronese D.O.P., well-cooked and harmonious in flavor. The second course was excellent: • Grilled sliced ​​beef, simple but well-executed, accompanied by baked potatoes and seasonal vegetables. The dessert was more subtle: the Sfoglia del Principe Amedeo with Chantilly cream and chocolate shavings, a simple yet perfectly balanced finish to the meal. 👉 Overall, a reliable establishment, capable of handling large groups with care and attention, offering cuisine that focuses on tradition and the quality of the ingredients.

Every course was a pleasant surprise, from appetizer to dessert. The quality-price ratio was also excellent. A Christmas lunch that made us feel right at home, but with something extra.
