28/10/2025: We got married on Saturday, October 25, 2025. What can I say? A stunning location, thanks to Pietro and his staff. Highly recommended! Eva and Federico!

16/09/2025: A wedding is one of the most important days in a couple's life, and it goes without saying that the location where you choose to celebrate it is of fundamental importance. At La Pergola, everything is perfectly organized to make this day the best possible for both the bride and groom and their guests. As always, it's the details that make the difference, and the experience of the La Pergola staff allowed everyone to fully enjoy the day without any part of the organization burdening the bride and groom. The dishes are refined, and the customization options for the menu and decor are practically endless. Of course (as always), the weather also plays a fundamental role, as it's a place that should be experienced and "celebrated," especially outdoors, with an endless park and the possibility of managing the event in various areas. But don't worry, even in bad weather they will still make your celebration special. Thanks to Pietro and all his staff for this wonderful day. Stefano & Patricia

19/11/2025: The food was okay, but the service wasn't to our liking. Tourists are mainly there to get their money out of their pockets; they're only friendly when they succeed. It was too pushy for us, and we didn't feel comfortable, which should be the goal of a restaurant visit. Avoid.

18/11/2025: We dined here on our final night in Venice and it was a perfect farwell meal. Every dish was delicious from appetizers to dessert. The service was spectacular especially our waiter and the host. They even customized one of the dishes per the request from one from our party. They pleasantly surprised us with complimentary limoncello and cookies to top off our dinner. They really went above and beyond to make sure our experience was one to remember.

28/09/2025: This pastry shop still makes full-sized pastries (larger than most other pastry shops, which have opted for miniature pastries with exquisite flavors). Modernity and change are fine, but here you'll find not only that, but also the classic tradition of the past. Classic desserts, little revisited, and delicious. The brioches and bomboloni are truly delicious. Not to mention the fritters during Carnival... They're not greasy at all, and they turn out tons of them. For me, Pasticceria Righetto will always be the TOP. Well done!

26/09/2025: Luckily, many restaurants in the area are closed on Tuesdays, otherwise I wouldn't have discovered this wonderful place. The food was divine, from the appetizers to the main courses (we didn't order the first course), and finally the dessert. For me, one of the best places in the area.

26/09/2025: Excellent tagliatelle with black truffle and gnocchi with porcini mushrooms. Very attentive service. We were there with a baby and a toddler, and they immediately brought us a high chair and a booster cushion for the older one. The desserts are also highly recommended.

31/08/2025: Everything was good, the meat was excellent, tender, and juicy. The side dishes were very well cooked. Soppressa like you're not likely to find anywhere else. Fair prices.

29/08/2025: Not easy to find, industrial pastries to supply hotels and guest houses

07/10/2025: The hotel itself is typical European style. The history is interesting and even though a water taxi is needed to get to the “main attractions” it was very convenient and free. Also, the concierge was great-he set us up on a glass blowing tour to Murano for free. This issues are the staff are not welcoming and we felt like we were a nuisance. They were vey kind to upgrade our room; however the room had large poles in the middle and in very awkward spaces (couldn’t get to the bathroom unless you squeezed by a large pole-trying doing that in the middle of the night!). The air did not work in the bedroom which we let them know right away. They never fixed it or gave us an update until we mentioned again on our last night (we were there for 5 nights). They informed us late that they couldn’t fix it but offered a fan service much helped a little but we were sleep deprived from the other 4 nights. The rooftop bar is very beautiful-the first night they were off in service but we went back and it was fabulous. The workout area was adequate and nice to be able to get some workouts in. The breakfast buffet is good with many many options. Overall, hospitality is their main business and they missed that important part during our stay. We were very disappointed.

07/10/2025: I stay at a lot of Hilton hotels (I’m Diamond status with them) and just checked into the Hilton Molino Stucky Venice. I am completely regretting my decision to stay here. First, it would have been nice if the hotel sent a message before arrival to provide you with transportation options since taxis can’t take you to the hotel. It’s on an island so you have to take a water taxi. After discovering on my own that I could not take an Uber there (a very angry Uber driver let me know that getting to the island is impossible), I reached out to the hotel and then they sent me a message stating that I could have booked a private water taxi in-advance. Well, I would have if they had sent me a message in advance. Instead, I wandered around the airport looking for a way to get to the hotel. A local was kind enough to help me book a public water taxi. Finally, I arrive at the hotel and they state that they have given me an upgraded room. Which is super nice, right?! Wrong. I get to the room, it’s tiny but hey it’s Europe. Then I go look around for water and there’s none to be found (bottled water is pretty standard at Hiltons especially for Diamond status members). Then I look for a luggage rack, not one of those either. But do you know what they did leave for me? A plug-in to kill bugs. Also, a broken mini-fridge. Pictures are below. I couldn’t make this stuff up if I tried. They did offer to move me to a different room but it’s almost midnight at this point, and I just want to sleep. Which might be hard to do with the noisy A/C. Don’t make the same mistake I did. Book somewhere else!!! Update: The bathrooms also need to be upgraded. The hinges on the shower-head and mirror are loose so they don’t hold in the right position. The shower also floods the bathroom floor. Sigh. On the plus side, the staff at the concierge desk are incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. Response to the Hotel’s response: I attached a photo of the email you all sent. Please note that it does not mention water taxi travel options. I keep receipts, so try again. I never complained about the view in my room as I don’t care for a view. I’m only in my room to shower, change, and sleep. I also love how you say that you upgraded me as if that makes things better. It makes me sad to think that the room I booked could actually be worse. You failed to note the broken fridge, and the issues with the bathroom. There’s also the noisy A/C. Yes, this is Venice and tourists will come regardless of how you treat them. I will just choose to stay elsewhere next time. Final review: I checked out this morning and could not be happier to be leaving this hotel. I still had a lovely time in Venice, but it would have been much better if I had stayed elsewhere. While most of the staff were helpful, management here is a problem. On top of their empty response to my initial review, this morning I asked for a cup of tea to-go (noting that they said a waiter would come to the table and ask if I wanted tea or coffee while having breakfast and no one ever did but they were busy so it’s fine). The gentleman who seemed to be more of a manager pointed me over to the to-go coffee area. I noted that there is only coffee there and I would like tea if possible to which he replied fine but there is tea in your room. Then while I was waiting for the tea, another guest asked for tea to-go (so maybe they should just put some tea out by the coffee station) and I hear him complain that no one seems to want coffee today. His attitude reflects the quality of this hotel… poor. Do better.

05/11/2025: A historic bacaro with excellent wines and a variety of tasty cicchetti. The place is very informal, a bit dark, and perhaps hygiene could be improved. The service (at the counter) could use a little more courtesy...but that's nothing unusual...after all, you're in Venice!

29/10/2025: A stylish wine bar with an excellent selection and lovingly prepared cicchetti. The Prosecco is exquisite, the atmosphere elegant yet relaxed.

05/11/2025: Zio Brasil is a piece of Brazil in Italy! The staff is almost entirely Brazilian, extremely friendly and courteous. You can choose from the buffet, where you'll find typical Brazilian and non-Brazilian dishes. The meat, which always arrives hot and of excellent quality, is also served! Dinner isn't cheap, but for quality meat, the price is absolutely fair! If I'm in the area again, I'll definitely be back!

22/10/2025: Really good pizza for very fair price, good selection of wines, friendly staff. What was really extraordinary was homemade dessert (similar to mille feuille) with a glass of sweet wine. Couldn’t wish better ending of our lunch. Would recommend to visit.

16/11/2025: November 16th, the first snowfall of the year... Excellent welcome, traditional cuisine, very carefully prepared dishes. The prices are excellent and fair. Keep it up! The host knows how to make you feel at ease...
