05/05/2026: One of my favorite coffee shops, Umberto is an absolute master of coffee: professionalism, quality, and a wide selection are the hallmarks of this bar. If you enjoy coffee, not just as a post-lunch drink, but as a lifestyle, this is the place to go. In addition to a crazy array of preparations (cold brew, extraction, infusion, etc.), he also makes delicious coffee-based cocktails, and his homemade desserts are exceptional. It's a little more expensive than the surrounding bars, but you pay for the quality. Plus, the atmosphere is very pleasant.

10/05/2026: Good food, carefully prepared. The wait staff, one in particular, was very rude and took offense at some things we pointed out. We won't be returning, nor would I recommend it.

17/05/2026: A perfect communion lunch in every way! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We celebrated my daughter's communion here, and it was an exceptional experience, with attention to every detail. 🍽️ The dishes were all delicious, prepared with fresh, clearly high-quality ingredients, and impeccably presented. Special mention goes to the staff's incredible attention and sensitivity to the food allergies of some guests: they handled the menu variations with utmost care and precision, making us feel at ease and pampered from start to finish. The venue offers a pleasant, elegant, and refined atmosphere, ideal for a family ceremony. The tables were tastefully set. One detail we greatly appreciated was the background music: pleasant and at the perfect volume, so as not to disturb anyone at all and allowing everyone to chat and enjoy the day in complete relaxation. The staff was incredibly helpful, welcoming, always smiling, and impeccably organized. Gianluca, the owner in particular, is truly exceptional: he patiently accommodated all of our numerous requests, managing the timing of the party perfectly, just as we'd requested. What's more, he surprised us by adding some wonderful extra dishes to the menu, without asking for anything extra. A venue that stands out not only for its high level of professionalism, but also for its generosity and humanity. We highly recommend it for any important event! Thank you so much for making this special day for my daughter unforgettable.

The visit to the woods, the stories and secrets of the garden... every moment was a journey into his vision, made of earth, passion, and authenticity. Peppe is a unique chef: friendly, original, and captivating. He captivated and enthused all the bikers with his energy and his way of telling stories. This is my second time back... and I already know it won't be the last. You don't come here just to eat, but to live a true experience. 31/05/2026: We went to this restaurant yesterday to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. What can I say? It's a very elegant restaurant, with attentive and polite staff and delicious food. If you're near Lecce, I highly recommend it!

29/05/2026: We originally wanted to dine at the restaurant across the street, but unfortunately we were unable to get a reservation, so we decided to try this restaurant instead. We ordered a combination of the four-course tasting menu (€50 per person) and were extremely disappointed with both the food quality and the overall experience. Shortly after the meal, we became sick. As a professional chef from California, I was particularly concerned about the quality and freshness of the seafood. The tuna showed signs of discoloration that suggested it was no longer fresh, and the shrimp tasted as if it had expired. It felt as though ingredients left over from the previous day were being served to guests. When our pasta course arrived, we decided not to continue with the meal and informed the staff that we wished to leave. Rather than addressing our concerns professionally, the owner approached us in an aggressive and unprofessional manner. Despite our dissatisfaction, I still paid half of the bill as a gesture of fairness. A restaurant’s response to customer concerns is just as important as the food itself. Instead of becoming confrontational, a simple apology and an effort to resolve the situation would have been appreciated. Unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I have had in Italy, and I cannot recommend this restaurant.

05/05/2026: We went to this tavern with a taste of times gone by for a family dinner. We went to Bovino to introduce our children to their father's hometown. We stopped at this tavern. It was where I rediscovered the cuisine and flavors of when I was little and my parents took me to the village for the summer. I was very surprised to be able to taste the typical dishes that brought back my childhood memories. Thank you Saverio for this experience. Wonderful person who makes you feel at home.

12/04/2026: We visited this restaurant on Easter Monday, with two entrances from the street and the Margherita coastal road, facing the sea. There's both indoor and outdoor seating, and the €45 fixed menu is a very fair price. We ate well, and I should add that the owner, Dabimo, even offered us dessert at the end, which wasn't included on the menu. The service was a bit slow, but they told us there were only two waiters because the others were sick, so I still want to give them credit for their hard work, along with the help of those in the kitchen. They doubled their workload and were able to make up for the absences. My compliments, the only slightly off-key note was the overly strong air conditioning, which meant I had a bit of a cold in the following days. I highly recommend this place, and I'll definitely be returning to visit the new place near the spa. Kudos to those who work with passion! 👏🏽

03/05/2026: A welcoming restaurant with a small, rustic-style dining room. I highly recommend making a reservation, as I believe they seat a maximum of 40 people, no more. The real strength, besides the excellent food, is the hospitality: even if you haven't booked, the owner will do everything to find you a seat and have you eat, making you feel immediately welcome. As soon as you enter, you're enveloped by the inviting aroma of authentic cuisine, that genuine seafood scent that lets you know you're in the right place. There were five of us (two adults and three children) and we had a wonderful time. For the little ones, we ordered plain pasta and they prepared orecchiette, perfectly cooked and delightfully creamy. My wife and I started with mussels with pepper and croutons and a red tuna tartare: both dishes were fabulous, meticulously prepared, and the tuna was incredibly fresh and melt-in-your-mouth. We continued with spaghetti alla chitarra with clams and pachino tomatoes, a fragrant dish where the fresh pasta held the sauce perfectly. To conclude, a truly impeccable fried calamari and shrimp platter: golden, crispy, and with a light batter that didn't overpower the flavor of the excellent quality fish. To top it off, we had their homemade lemon sorbet, served in delightful glass jars: the kids loved it! Each course shows great attention to the ingredients and expert craftsmanship. A truly positive experience that I recommend to everyone.

06/01/2026: Everything was excellent, from the fried foods to the first courses and the second courses. My son and I ordered and thoroughly enjoyed the orecchiette with arugula pesto, ricotta, fresh cherry tomatoes, and almonds, and my husband ordered the penne with sausage and arugula... we left nothing! All the dishes are traditional Salento dishes, flavorful and plentiful. Thank you, we'll definitely be back. P.S. Since we were there on Epiphany, we were happy to know that the osteria is a 4-minute walk from the sand nativity scenes!

03/04/2026: We booked a table for Saturday lunchtime, we are glad we did as it was quite busy. We had starters and pasta for our main, all dishes were very tasty and fresh, and the portions were generous. It was excellent value, our total bill 35 euros. We will definitely be back when we return to the area.

08/05/2026: A great place for a sunset drink and bite to eat. We had seen this place a lot on Instagram and knew the views were amazing but were abit sceptical given how “viral” it was. However - we couldn’t have been proven more wrong! We arrived at 5pm on a sunny day and bagged a great table with a sea view. We were expecting inflated prices but they absolutely werent. Service very efficient given size and busy-ness of the place. The apperetivo platters are excellent value and generous - we were very full and satisfied! Don’t be put off by how popular it is - get there early enough and settle in.
