11/05/2026: One of the nicest hotels we have stayed in Italy. Absolutely gorgeous and plush. Perfect location in the city center. The decor is dreamy. Truly italian design with Renaissance flare…as only the Italians can do it. We had a suite which was very spacious and well designed. I woke up every morning feeling like a princess!! Comfortable beds and pillows. Cozy bathrobes, great bath products, lovely turn down service. The rooms were always impeccably maintained. Excellent cleaning staff! Front desk and valet staff and Alessandro the concierge were lovely and more than helpful! They truly made it a wonderful experience. We cannot wait to return!

09/05/2026: Stay here! Eat here! Chef Niccolo is amazing and his food is perfection. Restaurant Cibreo has some of the best food we’ve had. Get the asparagus and the artichoke appetizers. Thank you to Fatima for wonderful service

04/06/2026: Unfortunately our experience here was not a good one. The pasta was extremely salty (i.e. inedible). The staff was partly nice. Unfortunately we cannot say that it was a pleasant experience.

02/06/2026: Located beneath the castle walls, the restaurant with its outdoor seating is very pleasant. The staff is extremely kind and attentive, although they aren't as efficient in preparing the dishes. They don't take long, but they could certainly be improved. The dishes themselves are very good, with generous first courses. I tried a classic charcuterie and cheese platter, which was delicious; cod meatballs with an excellent pecorino and lime sauce; and troccoli with burrata cream, crispy speck, and walnuts (very good).

09/02/2026: We went to this really cute little place for lunch on a Saturday. The menu is definitely unique and interesting. The menu features a lot of meat. We had a truly excellent first course, linguine with lemon calamari, and a second course of meat, pork ribs with a sauce, equally delicious. As a welcome, they served a wine, vegetables (excellent!), focaccia barese, and fried bread. Perhaps a little too much bread. The atmosphere is truly refined, yet rustic. I just felt the welcome was a little sterile. I would gladly return!

17/01/2026: Truly a magnificent place in the pure countryside, with meticulously maintained interiors. My only regret is that, going in the evening, I couldn't admire all the surrounding beauty in daylight. Although on a beautiful winter evening, the countryside has a sacred charm. A prestigious wine cellar with excellent local wines. The cuisine: excellent from the first course to the last. The textures of the food, the balance of flavors, all the result of an undoubtedly expert hand. The staff is generally professional and highly trained, without being invasive. One of the few places where you can enjoy unusual yet genuine dishes, in a refined yet authentic setting. We will definitely return.

05/04/2026: We had dinner at Giorè for Father's Day and used a The Fork discount coupon. Let's start with the fact that the menu available online (The Fork, Google, the website) is slightly different from what's available in-house, so this was a bit disconcerting, at least initially. Of the various dishes we chose, the octopus rosticciana was definitely the most popular and most appreciated—it was truly excellent. The two first courses were also excellent with the carbonara and the pasta with ragù. I personally had the tartare with egg (which I asked them to remake because there was a hair on the egg) and the duck with pumpkin cream (definitely my least favorite of all the dishes). The bread with oil served as a welcome dish was excellent, however—it was truly delicious. The service was spartan and simple. One negative point was the price, which everyone considered somewhat excessive for what they ate.

25/03/2026: Excellent pizzeria. Delicious, original pizzas made with quality ingredients. You can tell there's real thought put into the recipes, with combinations that offer a fresh take on the classics while remaining perfectly balanced. Ordering via WhatsApp was simple and efficient, with communication available in English, which is very convenient. Home delivery was on time, without any unpleasant surprises. A reliable place, modern in its operation, and consistently excellent on the plate.

02/06/2026: We visited based on an Instagram recommendation. We tried the panzerotti pomodoro, a typical street food from Puglia, and also the crocche di patate. The panzerotti is truly delicious! Despite being fried, the dough is crispy and very well-filled. Unlike many places in Bari (and elsewhere), they prepare orders on the spot, so you eat everything incredibly fresh – be careful not to burn yourself! That's why there's a queue, but it's totally worth the wait. We went two days in a row. Arriving early means a very short wait. They distribute tickets, and when yours is ready, you just go to the counter to pick it up. You can pick up your order and eat leaning against the low wall right in front, with a great view.

05/01/2026: There are restaurants where you eat well. And then there are places like Quarto Storto, where you eat and feel. We arrived there helpless, defenseless, and we left enriched. Rich in authentic flavors, sincere gestures, the kind of cuisine that doesn't need to amaze because it tastes like home. The signature dish is spaghetti all'assassina. Crispy, intense, direct. But it would be unfair to stop there, because every dish tells the same story: that of a family-run trattoria where time slows down and the heart accelerates. We were there with Elena and Pietro, sitting at an ordinary table that, for one evening, became the center of the world. Pietro tasting, Elena smiling, me believing that certain moments shouldn't be explained... they should be treasured. And then there's a detail that makes the difference, the one you don't find on the menus: it was their closing day, and yet they opened especially for us. Not out of duty. Out of kindness. For that rare form of hospitality that makes you feel awaited, not just served. From Quarto Storto, you don't just leave feeling full. You leave feeling moved. Because it reminds you that happiness is simple: a dish made just right, the right people by your side, and someone who decides to open the door... just for you. Thank you. Truly. ❤️

04/01/2026: A lovely restaurant, very comfortable and family-friendly. The owners, Dario and Amedeo, are very helpful and courteous. The food is good and authentic, typical of Puglia's cuisine. Highly recommended.

01/05/2026: Staying in the area, four of us went here for both lunch—which we were impressed with—and dinner. Lunch was cooked, and dinner was pizza. The quality of the food was truly excellent. Personally, I didn't like the "chef's choice" tasting menu concept, but what was served was carefully selected and executed well. The pizza was also a very pleasant surprise! The only downside was the wait. However, they did give it their all, and the staff was knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. Truly well done.

18/04/2026: The food is good. Excellent pizza. Too bad about the wait. We were the first ones there at 8:00 PM. We were also the first to order. We waited an hour for pizzas and a plate of fries. Unnerving. Comfortable and elegant atmosphere. Open kitchen. They made a mistake with one pizza (a child took it). Back. Nothing has changed. We sat down since 8:00 PM, and at 9:22 PM (now) they still haven't brought our pizzas. Incredible. We're not getting up just because it's Saturday and we're hungry. Not recommended

06/06/2026: The quality of the ingredients and, above all, the dough results in a pizza that's not only excellent but incredibly easy to digest. The attentive and welcoming staff, Piero and Martino, will make you feel right at home. Highly recommended.

24/05/2026: I went there at least five times during my vacation. The service was very friendly and efficient. The wait for the food was always minimal. The atmosphere was cozy. And most importantly: the pizzas are sensational. Varied, delicious, and cooked in a beautiful wood-fired oven. Even the locals agree that this pizzeria is the best in town. Top-notch!
