Ordering via WhatsApp was simple and efficient, with communication available in English, which is very convenient. Home delivery was on time, without any unpleasant surprises. A reliable place, modern in its operation, and consistently excellent on the plate.

05/01/2026: There are restaurants where you eat well. And then there are places like Quarto Storto, where you eat and feel. We arrived there helpless, defenseless, and we left enriched. Rich in authentic flavors, sincere gestures, the kind of cuisine that doesn't need to amaze because it tastes like home. The signature dish is spaghetti all'assassina. Crispy, intense, direct. But it would be unfair to stop there, because every dish tells the same story: that of a family-run trattoria where time slows down and the heart accelerates. We were there with Elena and Pietro, sitting at an ordinary table that, for one evening, became the center of the world. Pietro tasting, Elena smiling, me believing that certain moments shouldn't be explained... they should be treasured. And then there's a detail that makes the difference, the one you don't find on the menus: it was their closing day, and yet they opened especially for us. Not out of duty. Out of kindness. For that rare form of hospitality that makes you feel awaited, not just served. From Quarto Storto, you don't just leave feeling full. You leave feeling moved. A small suggestion... to better savor and enjoy the dishes, especially the appetizers... and especially on a holiday... increase the service time... an extra hour would make this excellent lunch even more complete. ☺️

10/07/2026: Passing through Molfetta, we decided to stop at Lake Lesina and stopped at Nonna Lina, a fantastic culinary experience. The peppered mussels with sawfish were sublime, and all the first courses were equally delicious. Seafood risotto for two, a super-abundant Orecchiette with tuna, Paccheri with calamari, shrimp, and burrata, and Troccoli with seafood. Highly recommended. Prices are reasonable.

10/06/2026: La Campagnola restaurant and pizzeria in the Bari hinterland, in the center of Bitritto, offers a balanced menu of typical local and regional specialties. The generous appetizers and welcoming atmosphere pay homage to the old 17th-century olive oil mill, which has been perfectly transformed into a refined, clean restaurant. Last but not least, a special thanks goes to the Bitonto prodigy, Cosimo, who gave us the opportunity to discover his world and his well-cooked, flavorful, and very light pizzas. I'll conclude by saying that the next time we pass through Bitritto, we'll definitely come to La Campagnola. And, as I always say, enjoy!

10/06/2026: In the heart of the ancient city of Bitritto, we discovered a hidden gem. La Campagnola is a pizzeria located inside a former 17th-century olive oil mill. The location features ancient stone walls that lend the experience a relaxing atmosphere. The service from the entire staff is simply exceptional. The quality of the products is superb; I recommend the Slow Food cheese board and the Cinta Sienese pizza. Pizza chef Cosimo is a master of leavened products and will be able to recommend the best dishes for you, as will the entire staff. A fantastic experience; we will definitely be back.

27/04/2026: Wonderful location and very attentive staff. The only negative is the chef. I'm vegetarian, and the chef wasn't able to replicate the sophisticated menu he did for all the other guests. To start with the appetizers, the other guests had four different courses, and I ended up with four inedible, rubbery panzerotti. Then we continued with a caprese salad (for me, eating a caprese salad in a reception hall is unthinkable) and two first courses. The first course was truly awful, while the second course was truly delicious. To finish, the second course featured a burger that smelled like cardboard, and I didn't have the courage to eat it. I'm truly sorry to write this review, but I felt like I was treated like a second-class guest. I hope these words can help improve the vegetarian menu.

There's no menu here: you rely entirely on the owner, who brings his dishes to the table based on what's available that day. The cuisine is excellent and the portions are generous: plenty of quality vegetables and cheeses, exquisite pasta dishes, grilled fish, and a crispy and delicious pizza that's absolutely worth a try. But what makes this place truly special is the joyful and family atmosphere, made even more pleasant by the owner's enthusiasm and friendliness. Highly recommended!
