04/03/2025: We found ourselves "by chance" in these parts, and we decided to stop in this tavern. Here you can feel the atmosphere of home, with friendly staff. Prices are higher than normal, if you want to eat in a place where you want to feel at home, you will certainly be able to remain satisfied and above all full. All of excellent quality. We will be back. The pasta with burrata cream and tomatoes is excellent, I recommend trying it.

05/01/2025: Locale alla buona ma il cibo buono e casereccio, il gestore un ragazzo perbene e molto disponibile, pietanze cucinate come se fossi a casa sia di qualità che di fattezza. Si mangia bene se capitate qui andate tranquilli che mangiate bene e spendete poco.

24/12/2024: Splendid farmhouse, recently renovated and surrounded by greenery, where elegance and attention to detail reign supreme. I had the pleasure of visiting it at a very recent private party where we tasted excellent wines and delicious food in a one-of-a-kind location. Highly recommended!!!!!

01/04/2025: The most amazing local street food around. Rolls made from homemade dough, filled with cheese, prosciutto, salad, veggies and so on... Local recipes are served by portion, like pitta, focaccia pugliese, vegetable filled pastry and many other things you'll be delighted to try. I've had beer, but I saw very nice local wines (by the bottle) in their stock. As it is a pedestrian zone, I personally enjoyed the quietness, even if it's few meters away from the traffic. The prices... Find out yourself. Very nice people. Highly recommended.

08/03/2025: Beautiful place in front of a breathtaking landscape. Exquisite food, mainly fish but also meat and pizzeria options. It is a place full of choices, from the bar, to the aperitif, to the pizza, to the restaurant. It has places both inside and outside, in a beautiful lawn with a small children's playground. Very kind and attentive staff. Advised!!!

15/03/2025: A wonderful evening with fantastic food! We had the pleasure of having dinner at Il Palazzo yesterday and absolutely loved it! The raw seafood was of outstanding quality – incredibly fresh and really tasty. The other dishes were great too, with honest, quality ingredients that speak for themselves. The warm service is particularly noteworthy. Although we hardly speak Italian (almost not at all 😅), we were welcomed with great friendliness and looked after attentively. The team creates an atmosphere in which you immediately feel welcome. If you want to enjoy great food in a pleasant, informal environment in Salento, you should definitely visit Il Palazzo and its friendly team. Thank you very much – we will definitely come back!

30/03/2025: I came here with my girlfriend and we were greeted very well. After sitting at the table, we were immediately asked if we would like water, which was served to the woman first—in my opinion, a courtesy detail that is not taken for granted, especially in a pizzeria. To start, we ordered spicy chicken nuggets accompanied by ketchup and mayonnaise as a centerpiece. For main courses, we chose two pizzas: Pasqalino and Bufala. The Pasqalino presented a spectacular contrast of flavors: the softness of the tuna, the sweetness of the caciocavallo melted with honey and flavored with capers, all balanced by the crunchiness of the salami, which added a pleasant surprise to the texture. A very particular mix, even if I personally am not a big fan of salami. The Bufala was also excellent, with fresh ingredients and a well-cooked base. One aspect that I particularly appreciated was the service: once we finished the chicken nuggets, they brought us the pizzas, avoiding serving us everything at once and giving us time to enjoy each course calmly. To conclude, we chose a really delicious dessert: panna cotta with mango sauce. The overall experience was very positive. We will definitely be back!

16/03/2025: A nice place to spend a nice evening and eat good food, the pizzas were really excellent, the wait staff were really friendly. The only very small flaw, the Panzerottini were cold inside, but still good, you have to pay attention to cooking especially if they are some frozen products. For the rest everything is excellent!

07/04/2025: I had the parmigiana di melanzane, and it was really tasty — it had that homemade flavor, even though it was slightly salty. The dish cost €5, plus €0.60 for the coperto. It’s a self-service place that serves its purpose if you’re looking for a quick and satisfying meal. The vibe definitely leans towards an old-school canteen or milk bar. When I went, there were quite a few office workers around, which says a lot about its role as a go-to lunch spot.
