05/04/2025: My experience at Bistro O Barao was simply unforgettable. Being Brazilian, I often miss the food of my country, and finding a restaurant that manages to recreate the authentic atmosphere and flavors of Brazil was a real joy. As soon as I crossed the threshold, I was surrounded by a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with music and furnishings that perfectly reflect the Brazilian style. Every detail is taken care of with love, making me feel immediately at home. I had the pleasure of tasting picanha, a typical dish that I have always loved, and I must say that the quality was exceptional. The meat was tender and flavorful, cooked to perfection, and accompanied by delicious side dishes that further enhanced the dish. Another aspect that made my evening special was the service. The two waiters were extremely polite and kind, welcoming me with a smile and making me feel like a special customer. Their attention and availability made the experience even more pleasant. In conclusion, Bistro O Barao is not just a restaurant, but a corner of Brazil in the heart of Maiori. I highly recommend visiting it to anyone who wants to taste real Brazilian cuisine in a lovely setting. I can't wait to return.

I have been going there for a few years now and whenever friends or family visit I make sure that I book a spot here (if I can get a reservation). The staff has a very special place in my heart. They always make me feel welcomed and almost like family. As for the food all I can say is OMG! It is amazing! Quality ingredients, beautiful presentation and succulent flavors combine to make this place worth any effort or any amount of money you spend to visit. Do yourself a huge favor and book a table and you will see for yourself. Oh, …and go for the Ribs! They are to die for!

Also worth mentioning is the excellent welcome, professionalism and empathy of the whole family. It's hard not to be ecstatic! Very fresh raw fish - refined first courses - simply perfect chocolate cake!!! Highly recommended experience!!

07/04/2025: Highly recommended. We tried: chocolate, stracciatela, pistachio, yogurt and hazelnut I think I remember. They were all very good, there is quite a queue but it goes quite fast. The workers are very friendly and the portions are good.

02/04/2025: I came to Milan with my mom for an ice cream during a weekend. I'll check out this place on Google when searching for the best ice cream parlors in Milan. I don't regret my choice; I chose two flavors: pistachio and salted caramel with peanuts, and my mom chose salted caramel and peanuts. 😋 Ice cream with a lot of flavor, not too sweet, and not at all sickening! 😊 The person who served us was a really nice gentleman (he spoke perfect French for us 😁)

20/01/2025: We were a group of 7 arriving without a reservation for dinner in mid winter so were a little lucky to find a table as the restaurant is reasonably small inside. There is a covered terrace for warmer weather. The hosts were super friendly and accommodated us. The food was excellent and service was great.
