05/04/2025: Choosing Nicchie from among several restaurants serving octopus, we didn't regret our choice! The staff is professional and friendly. We were lucky to get a seat quickly without a reservation. We chose the grilled seafood mix to share: squid, sea bream, prawns, and octopus! Everything was super fresh, perfectly cooked, a real treat, really nothing to complain about.

24/03/2025: Delightful place with a unique panoramic view with a backdrop of the Gran Sasso. Elena and Egidio. They will welcome you warmly, the dishes are all express, classic Abruzzo appetizer abundant with cold cuts, cheeses, beans etc. The former are extraordinary. I don't think I have eaten such good maltagliati with porcini mushrooms and truffles before. The mixed grill is well composed of everything and extremely good. Here you will have only one problem: You will never find a place!!!! ✌️🥂🥂😉

01/03/2025: I was at the sawadee restaurant for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised by the quiet place, with attention to detail. Very kind and knowledgeable staff, spectacular food. I tried the vegetarian pad thai and you could taste the quality of the products in every bite. I will definitely return and highly recommend it, you won't regret it

14/02/2025: This is THE BEST pizza I’ve ever had!!! I literally dream about in now. The owner is a food genius, the flavor combinations were amazing!! We got there right before they officially opened for lunch, we were able to sit and have a glass of wine while we watched the owner work, it was fascinating. I can’t even remember exactly what all the different combinations of ingredients there were, but trust me… they’re all good! Get the sampler where you get a small piece of each pizza! The owner and staff were awesome and attentive, even with the crowds starting to pour in. Helpful hint, get there right when they open because they get super busy!!

27/12/2024: You pay by the gram and it’s not a bad price at all! Great service. My favorite was The whole wheat crust is to die for. We will come back.

02/03/2025: Tommy’s Wine non è solo un ristorante, è un viaggio nei sapori più autentici, dove ogni piatto racconta una storia di ricerca e passione. Qui, la tradizione incontra l’eleganza in un equilibrio perfetto: ingredienti selezionati con cura, vini scelti con sapienza, accostamenti mai scontati... Il tutto in un’atmosfera che avvolge come un abbraccio. Ogni dettaglio è pensato per regalare emozioni, dal primo sorso all’ultimo boccone. Un luogo che non si visita soltanto, ma che si vive. Consigliatissimo!

29/03/2025: Categoria: Ristorante Italiano Trovato per: Guida Slow Food (@) Provato per la prima volta anni fa e da quel momento ci sono tornato quasi ogni anno, negli ultimi due anche a pernottare fermandomi qualche giorno. È un posto unico. Una locanda che ha più di 150anni sperduta nel Carso, a un passo dal confine sloveno, in un territorio aspro che richiama alla memoria reminiscenze scolastiche sui grandi eventi del secolo scorso. La storia è affascinante, ho letto anche il libro sulla storia della famiglia. Da locanda di paese, alla quale è passata di fianco la Storia con la S maiuscola, è ora un’oasi di pace e autenticità dove si respira un’atmosfera fuori dal tempo. A gestione familiare, il patron Augustin è un personaggio “leggendario” di enorme fascino, la cui fama fama è nota anche a chi non ci è ancora stato, se appassionato di enogastronomia. Il ristorante è elegante e molto curato, i piatti sono quelli del territorio un po’ rivisitati. È tutto più o meno buono: di primi ho provato i fusi (pasta) con salsiccia e formaggio Jamar e i tagliolini alla farina di vinaccia con spezzatino di gallina e speck croccante (eccezionali!). Tra i secondi la coscia di coniglio al forno con patate e la guancia di maiale (che avrei preferito un po’ più morbida) brasata al Terrano con patate in tecia. Tra i dolci va assolutamente provato il Tiramisù Coppa Vetturino, che loro dicono essere la ricetta originale del creatore del dolce. I rafioi (biscotti alle carote ripieni di confettura) e gelato erano invece meno entusiasmanti. La carta dei vini è un’ode al territorio, incentrata su Collio e Carso, sia italiano sia sloveno, e altre zone del Friuli, e poi etichette dall’Italia e dal mondo. Profondissima scelta, annate anche molto vecchie e introvabili, e prezzi più che onesti. Servizio efficiente, tutto o quasi in mano alle figlie e a pochi altri collaboratori. Prezzo assolutamente corretto, soprattutto per i bassissimi ricarichi sui vini e la qualità delle materie prime. Come dicevo a inizio recensione, sono innamorato di questo posto e ci tornerò ogni volta che posso.

24/03/2025: Recommended with a plebiscite by a FB group I stopped for lunch. Delicious place and menu. Decorated in the 70s it made me take a step back in time. Very present but not intrusive service. Very interesting menu of those that push you to come back .... and come back .... and come back. Prices in the norm. I will definitely take it into account for my next stops.
