12/06/2025: We were completely satisfied. The octopus salad was delicious, as were the pasta dishes with anchovy sauce. The service was also incredibly friendly. If I could, I would eat there regularly.

18/06/2025: Modern, creative, and delicious 😋 We had risotto, one with squid (black) and one with salted anchovies and lemon zest. Both were delicious! The desserts were also very good 👍 You should reserve a table in advance, especially if you want to sit outside!

16/06/2025: This place is just phenomenal. The service is great, the owner makes sure that you get the best experience and the best combination of food and wine, all in all very accomodating. Now let's get to the food.. the beef and fish tartar (especially the fish) is outstanding! The tartar is pre seasoned with olive oil, lemon and spices, but you can mix the tartar yourself and match your taste with onions, anchovies and capers.. great experience. Next we had the octopus and the lemon risotto. I never had octopus from the grill this tender - impecable. And then the risotto.. lemon risotto is my new go to flavor, it was rich, sour and sweet at the same time, topped with sweet pickled lemon zest and chilli - it was perfect! When we asked for a wine recommendation the owner told us his go to for fish dishes - it was the perfect fit and almost the cheapest wine on the menu.. that's how we knew the recommendation was genuine and no upselling. Furthermore he always checked on us, answered all our questions and was super nice. This was by far one of the best restaurants we visited in Italy. 10/10.

21/05/2025: Quick lunch with a friend. I was impressed by the extremely tasty roast potatoes, although not crunchy, flavored with rosemary and left with the skin. The mayonnaise that accompanies them is also very good. The toast is a generous portion and the flavors range from classic to whimsical. I tried the one with speck, rocket, brie and mustard pear jam. The options for sandwiches are also very interesting. The street where the restaurant is located is very quiet and the staff is friendly. There is the option of eating on a veranda.

11/06/2025: I had a wonderful experience at Restaurante do Barão! I ordered the Espírito Santo snack, which was super tasty and well-served, and finished with a passion fruit mousse that was simply perfect – light, balanced and refreshing. The highlight is Diego's service, which was extremely attentive and kind. He was the one who recommended the dessert to me, and he was spot on! Friendly service makes all the difference — and here, it certainly did. I recommend a visit, both for the food and for the pleasant atmosphere and hospitality.

11/06/2025: Great place to eat at the end of the day. The cassava was delicious, cooked just right, and the burger was very tasty. Order the passion fruit mousse for dessert!!! It's worth every penny. Diego recommended it and it was a delicious surprise.

An extra point for the attention to students, with a dedicated discount. But the real added value are the employees, I had the opportunity to have a chat with Alessandro: friendly, easy-going, always ready to exchange a few words with a smile. An honest, genuine person, who knows how to put you at ease and makes you want to come back, not only for the pizza, but also for the welcoming atmosphere that he helps to create. 10/05/2025: We arrived in this area a bit by chance and were looking for a welcoming place where we could eat the typical dishes of the area. Searching on the map I clicked on the Locanda del Barone and it convinced me, I called and booked. Once we arrived the place was even better than I had seen in the photo, a really beautiful place, quiet and completely surrounded by nature, fast and friendly service; but the thing that surprised us the most was the cuisine, everything was very tasty and cooked properly. I can say, in my personal taste, that I would gladly return to this establishment, it left me pleasantly surprised!

01/06/2025: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing desserts… and also savory gluten and lactose free! This pastry shop is a real gem for those who have intolerances, but don't want to give up on taste. Everything is gluten and lactose free, yet everything is surprisingly good – not just the desserts, but also the savory options! I've already ordered two birthday cakes from them, and both were a success: beautiful to look at, but above all soft, delicious and well made, so much so that even those who don't have intolerances have had seconds. Every time I pass by, I also find an excellent selection of savory snacks, focaccias, pizzas and treats perfect for a quick lunch or an alternative aperitif. Everything is well-made, tasty and digestible. The staff is always kind and knowledgeable, and there is a welcoming and professional atmosphere. A place that shows that eating well, in a safe and conscious way, is absolutely possible – without having to give up anything.
