10/09/2025: PARKING Before you sit down at your table, Al Tiglio offers you an adventure-movie prologue: the search for parking. It's not impossible, but it's the kind of mission that earns you dinner. In the end, when you walk in, you feel like a hero who's conquered the relic. ATMOSPHERE The place isn't big, and that's a good thing. Because every detail seems designed with the precision of a Japanese calligrapher. Just the right lighting, thoughtful furnishings, no excess. Picturesque on the outside, bright on the inside: in the summer, the outdoor tables seem already taken by the cheerful chatter you can't wait to hear. THE MENU Not vegan? It doesn't matter. Here, the kitchen doesn't ask you for party membership, it simply knocks you out. The dishes don't try to "imitate" the carnivorous tradition, but challenge it to a duel. And they often win. You can choose a guided tour, like in a gastronomic theme park where each stop is a surprise you'd never imagine ordering alone. LOTS OF SMOKE AND... A TWIST The signature dish is this: "Lots of smoke and no roast." A name that seems designed to mock you, but it throws you off at the first bite. It looks like meat. It smells like meat. It fools you like a magician pulling a rabbit out of a hat. Except here, there's no rabbit... there. Vegetable fillet with creamed carrots and mustard: a dish that, if served blind, could send even a cattle farmer into a tailspin. DESSERT: THE FINAL APPLAUSE The desserts arrive, and you realize you're not in a restaurant: you're in a theater. Every bite is the final act, the applause that closes the show. Sweetness that's never cloying, a harmony of flavors that don't try to please everyone, but succeed nonetheless. THE SERVICE The staff doesn't just bring dishes, they bring stories. CONCLUSION Five stars, without hesitation. Right: here, it's much better.

05/10/2025: We had a wonderful dinner at Wood 55. I was craving a good steak and was pleasantly surprised by the incredible flavor and quality of the meat here. Highly recommended, food and service are exceptional!!

05/08/2025: It was a super pleasant discovery... a very nice place and a place that makes you feel at home... super food, the Umbrian appetizer is a marvel both to see and to eat... exceptional tagliata, tender and perfectly cooked, which is not always easy... I must say that the host is very friendly and makes you feel at home right away... we will definitely be back...

21/07/2025: We went for lunch on Sunday for the first time. The restaurant is nestled in the countryside and has a lot of character inside. The menu is varied and original, featuring homemade yet sophisticated dishes. At the suggestion of the charming Simone, I opted for the BBQ ribs: highly recommended. I've never tasted such tender meat, and the quality of the ingredients is top-notch. I also recommend the delicious focaccia. The restaurant's originality is greatly appreciated. Congratulations to Simone and his colleagues. We'll definitely be back.

27/09/2025: The dishes were incredibly rich in flavor and very filling! I had the vegetarian zighinì, and the chickpea cream in particular was truly spectacular. The mango mousse for dessert was also very good. The dining room where we ate was quiet, with an intimate and cozy atmosphere. We were able to have a conversation without the usual hustle and bustle typical of restaurants. The gentleman serving the tables and managing the cash register was truly kind, unlike anything I've ever seen; he even offered us a herbal tea at the end of the meal. If you have any leftovers, you can take them home. I highly recommend them.

05/09/2025: Returning from a hike in the Maiella National Park, we stopped at this beautiful little spot nestled in the park's hills. We were so happy we even returned the next evening for dinner, even though our accommodation is an hour away from the inn! Stefano, the owner, puts his heart and soul into his work, and his strong connection to the area is evident. The service was attentive, professional, and anything but predictable; we truly felt at home! The food was delicious, with traditional Abruzzo dishes and modern reinterpretations of classics. The wine list was also good! 5 stars aren't enough to describe this experience! The desserts were excellent, too. I highly recommend it to anyone in the area; the prices are in line with the quality and service, and even children are made to feel important here. We haven't tried the rooms, but if we have the opportunity, we'll definitely consider staying there! Congratulations again to all the staff, and see you next time!

31/08/2025: We stayed for our anniversary. The room was cozy, clean, and tidy with a stunning mountain view. The exterior was well-maintained and clean. The restaurant served excellent traditional food and wine. The family-run hotel is incredibly friendly. We recommend it to anyone looking for tranquility and good food. We'll be back.

22/10/2025: This is truly the best ice cream I've ever had in Sardinia. Incredibly delicious! You really shouldn't miss it. And don't worry about the goat flavor. You'll barely notice it's goat's milk. Definitely try it!

20/10/2025: Timasù is a gem in the center of Baunei: an artisanal gelato shop with authentic flavors and fresh ingredients. A refined atmosphere and friendly staff. Each flavor expresses Sardinia with simplicity and passion. Definitely worth a try.

29/09/2025: A pleasant discovery! My husband and I dined at this restaurant for the first time, and it was a real surprise. We ordered a peppered fillet steak and a roasted chicken leg with sautéed vegetables, accompanied by a side of potatoes: everything was simply delicious. The wine, very kindly recommended by the wait staff, proved to be a perfect pairing. The atmosphere was welcoming, the service attentive, and the cuisine truly excellent. Highly recommended!

22/10/2025: Passing by, we stumbled upon a restaurant that we'll mark in our personal notebook as one of the best. Professional, yet empathetic and friendly, service makes guests feel immediately at ease. Delicious, beautifully presented dishes. The restaurant may not look impressive from the outside, but it's charming, welcoming, and well-maintained inside. Completely immersed in vineyards, just minutes from the Affi highway exit, it can be reached via a paved road through the village of Cavaion Veronese. Private parking is available just a few meters from the entrance. Highly recommended.
