04/09/2025: I had planned in advance to visit this pizzeria, but as I approached, the receptionist at the entrance was so insistent that I actually considered changing my plans and going elsewhere. In the end, I decided to go in. The prices are on the higher side: the cheapest pizza is the margherita at €8, but most options start at around €14, and you’ll pay €18 for a special pizza (except one). Their special recipes looked very appetizing, and the pizza I had was indeed very good—just what you’d expect in the Napoli area. However, the wine is overpriced, with a glass starting at €8; I’ve had better for €6 elsewhere in Napoli. On a positive note, the complimentary limoncello at the end was a nice touch. This is clearly a tourist-oriented restaurant, catering especially to large groups. During dinner, someone from the restaurant played American songs on the guitar, which I found a bit annoying and stressful, especially when he was right behind me. Some big American groups seemed to enjoy it, though. Twice in less than an hour, the lights were turned off to celebrate someone’s birthday. My waiter was very pleasant and much quieter than most of the staff, which I appreciated. However, other waiters kept bumping into my chair as they moved around. Overall, this wasn’t quite what I was looking for that evening, but your mileage may vary.

04/09/2025: We came across this little gem while wailing down toward the beach and decided to stop in for some take away pizza. We thought it was just a small shop with a kitchen but they led us to a back area that was large and inviting. Fans encircle the room to keep it cool and natural lighting shines above your head yet you’re protected from the elements above. IL RUTTINO is a must when you visit Sorrento.

09/09/2025: Renowned, clean, and modern restaurant. The staff were friendly, fast, and welcoming. The food was good, nothing special to report, and the price was average for local sushi, €27 including cover charge (dinner). The only downside was that we didn't touch two dishes at all, and were charged a €5 surcharge. Fortunately, we were given the option to take them home. Overall, I recommend it.

12/07/2025: A pochi minuti dal centro di Monreale (vale la pena fare due passi in piu!) c'è questa focacceria che fa anche gustosissime insalate. Posto sia fuori che all interno. Proposte sfiziose e rapporto prezzo/qualita/quantità assolutamente consigliato. Per noi una bella scoperta davvero. Bravi!

21/06/2025: Che scoperta fantastica! Sono stata in questo locale tipico siciliano con la mia famiglia e ci siamo trovati benissimo per una pausa veloce e gustosa. L'ambiente è molto semplice e alla mano, l'ideale per chi cerca autenticità senza fronzoli. La qualità degli ingredienti locali è superlativa, ogni morso è un vero viaggio nei sapori della Sicilia. Un plauso speciale per le ottime opzioni senza glutine disponibili, un dettaglio che fa la differenza e ci ha permesso di gustare tutto senza pensieri. Perfetto per un boccone al volo che non rinuncia alla vera tradizione siciliana!

15/07/2025: From the very beginning, meeting Mrs. Rita and her wonderful family, I knew I was in the right place... the results far exceeded my expectations... the confidential, friendly, and sincere relationship was just the prelude to an evening marked by perfect and competent organization, excellent food, perfect service, and what can I say about the young and fantastic chef Lorenzo? Simply... unique... and Claudia? Excellent, calm and fast, tireless and... the perfect organizer... last but not least, Luigi, always smiling, tireless, and uniquely kind... I could go on, but... I recommend trying it for yourself and you'll understand that my description is nothing compared to the reality. Thank you, Rita, you are fantastic and real. 04/06/2025: Rita's apericena are unbeatable for me, an excellent selection of wines and we had the pleasure of trying their catering and set-up service and it was a truly wonderful event and all the guests complimented the professionalism of the waiters and the quality of the food offered 🤩 rating 10!

08/09/2025: My husband and I celebrated our wedding at Tenuta Variselle on September 5, 2025, and it was an unforgettable experience! The venue is simply stunning, elegant, and meticulously crafted. The food was excellent, with great attention to dietary requirements: I'm celiac, so I was able to enjoy everything with complete peace of mind. The staff was attentive, professional, and always available. We felt pampered every step of the way. We will definitely be back, perhaps for an anniversary! Highly recommended! 💕

I was pleasantly surprised by the welcome, the attentive and friendly service, the inviting and genuine dishes, and the quality wines. 03/09/2025: I had the pleasure of discovering the Asmara Ethiopian Cuisine Restaurant during the catering event organized for the Italy-Africa Dialogue event, the voice of cultural and creative industries: the case of fashion. It was my first time trying Ethiopian food, and I must say it was an extraordinary discovery: delicious dishes, rich in authentic and innovative flavors. Beyond the quality of the food, what made the experience truly special was the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. The restaurant staff themselves served attendees with a smile, patiently and courteously explaining the dishes despite the chaos of the event. One gesture that particularly struck me: the lady serving coffee, with incredible sweetness, even opened the sugar packet to add it to the cup. Small details that make you feel welcomed and pampered. Super patient, kind, and smiling: I truly hope to visit their restaurant soon and have another unique and unforgettable Ethiopian cuisine experience. Highly recommended! 🌟

06/09/2025: We rented an apartment right next to this pastry shop, so it was the first place we went in Taormina. We tried everything: pastries, cannoli, gelato, cream puffs, granitas...all wonderfully delicious. The place is charming and very quaint, prices are perhaps a little above average, but in line with the general cost insanity that reigns in Taormina. My only complaint is that it's September, so we're coming off the summer heat, the hard work, etc. But a few more smiles wouldn't hurt.
