28/09/2025: We were greeted with extreme kindness by Mr. Paolo, who, despite a small reservation issue, accommodated us as we could not have wished for. The lunch was excellent, both for the well-cooked, authentically flavorful food and for the truly attentive and friendly service. The atmosphere was excellent. Value for money: excellent. 11/10/2025: This was an odd experience. Most importantly, the food is delicious, wonderful in fact. Exactly what I wanted - a taste of Lecce. We started with the fiori di zucca fritti and a sample of olive oil toasts. I had the Sagne Nnannulate with the tomato sauce with horse meat, lovely balance of richness and savory tomato flavor. My wife enjoyed the Ciceri e tria pasta, also wonderful. We paired it with a nice rose wine. Where I felt bothered was how we were treated. This is my 10th trip to Italy, so I know the customs and embrace them fully. I am not fluent but speak Italian decently for a tourist. We were dressed as well as anyone who showed up. We arrived shortly after the restaurant opened at 8pm. There was a large tour group eating inside. However we were told we could only eat outside. OK, I understand it's Saturday night maybe there were many reservations so we took seats outside. But it was evident that we were not welcome for whatever reason. We could tell from the conversations as people rang the bell to enter, half of the people who arrived afterwards didn't have reservations. I speak well enough to understand the language of the restaurant. YET NO ONE ELSE WAS MADE TO SIT OUTSIDE. Each time the door opened, we hear people inside enjoying themselves and we were alone outside. While food service was OK, in my many visits to Italy this was the first time I was made to feel like a stranger. Made more apparent every time the front door closed. To reiterate, the food is wonderful. The inside atmosphere and decor, from what we could see through the windows like beggars, is charming. We just didn't feel welcome. We skipped dessert downed a coffee, paid and left. We felt welcome in Bari for 3 nights but Lecce was not welcoming this night. Dumb luck I guess.

17/08/2025: If I really had to find a negative, and I'd try hard to find one, it'd be in dire need of a refresh. The food and service were excellent, and the attention to those who need gluten-free options was adequate. The price was fair for the quality. It's not widely advertised, not even with signs on the street, and it doesn't have an updated website, but its loyal customers know where to find it and what they'll eat.

05/10/2025: A reasonably large venue with two areas for playing board games and one for watching games. A good selection of dishes and beers. Generous, quality portions. Street parking. Reservations are recommended.

12/10/2025: This is a very good ice cream shop, and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. We had breakfast every day, had ice cream, and it's definitely a great place to enjoy a good coffee in a relaxed, family-friendly setting.

24/09/2025: The bed mattress was saging in the middle and gave us back pain and needs replacement. The bed room furniture needs repair and painting.The hair dryer is useless and very weak to dry hair.

31/08/2025: Not exactly cheap, but truly delicious and highly recommended. The service was very friendly, quick, and attentive. We managed to get a table (for two) without a reservation, but we recommend booking in advance.

20/08/2025: The music was extremely loud, making it impossible to even talk to the person sitting next to you. The music selection was in poor taste. The DJ set was disco-like at 6 PM. The lunch service took 5 hours (from 1 PM to 6 PM). The food quality was average, with some things being rather poor (especially the mozzarella, a really trivial mistake considering it was lunch on August 15th).

02/09/2025: We ordered five spritzes for an aperitivo, and they brought us a tiny bowl of chips for everyone... there were probably barely 20 chips, and we had to ask for more. I can understand if the spritz had cost 4 or 5 euros, but for 6.50 I expect at least something—two olives, two peanuts, or two pieces of focaccia. I'd say it's not the right place for an aperitivo.

26/08/2025: The cocktails were excellent, as were the aperitifs and desserts. I only had two types, but they were good. The staff was excellent and friendly.
