13/10/2025: We went with the whole family to celebrate our mother's 90th birthday. We had decided to go there after seeing a TV report that praised the deliciousness of the spit. We were surprised to find that, although the spit was rotating on the fire and looked very inviting, we were probably served what had been left over from the previous days, reheated and served on three trays that were not even assorted. The menu said chicken, ribs, and rabbit, and not even enough considering there were twelve of us. It's worth noting that at the table next to ours, the four diners were served portioned out on four plates. There was a baptism that day and there must have been about forty of them, so the rotating spit was definitely for them. At this point, when we booked and asked if they had spit on the menu, perhaps it would have been better if they had said no. Despite everything, since I trust in everyone's good faith, I've decided to return, hoping this time the spit will be as good as the one praised in the TV report.

17/06/2025: Lunch with many friends. Everything was very good, beautiful location, but the real disappointment was the Prosecco of the place: too much gas and very intrusive bubbles.

27/09/2025: My girlfriend and I went to Assaje and tried several specialties: octopus salad, two montanare, fritters, bruschetta, and two pizzas. Everything was delicious! Special thanks to pizza chef Pasquale Napoli, incredibly friendly and professional, who made me an off-menu pizza because I wasn't sure: it was delicious! We'll definitely be back; a highly recommended experience.

21/09/2025: Everything was super good! The service was friendly, professional, and the welcome was more than appreciated, with bruschetta and fritters. The prices are average, and the pizza is excellent, thin and topped with top-notch ingredients. I'm not giving it 5 stars only because there was a small hiccup with a wrong pizza and a bit of a slow delivery at the end, but that's okay; Saturday nights are tough. I'll definitely be back 🙏🏻

10/11/2025: A strip of cake as long and thick as a little finger costs €4.50… I don't deny that it's good, but the price isn't reasonable.

09/11/2025: Refined pastry shop, but not top-notch. Excellent service and atmosphere. The Zuppa Inglese ice cream is spectacular.

28/10/2025: A lovely bar/restaurant located within a social cooperative. Nice atmosphere, informal but well-maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the food is good! They also serve sandwiches outside of regular hours.

08/09/2025: I bitterly regret not taking a photo of the "pizzas" that two of my friends and I ate there last night. I'm only commenting on the seafood pizza I ordered, which was actually a container of seafood salad poured over the pizza. If that wasn't the case, there was definitely something wrong with that seafood. Furthermore, the pizza was soaked in water from? I don't know exactly what. A piece of plastic that presumably covered the still-sealed wine cork. In short, €15 for a pizza that could easily have made me feel sick (I certainly didn't avoid heartburn, though) makes me feel like I've been scammed, and in the end, that's kind of the case. The staff was very friendly, but the food definitely needs re-evaluating.

11/09/2025: The atmosphere is small and welcoming. The location is good, and there are plenty of options. We were served very well, and the prices weren't bad.

22/08/2025: Delicious pizza as always. The low-carb dough is super light and easy to digest, and the pizzas are thin and large. They're always very friendly.

12/12/2025: Nice place, very lively. The only flaw, unfortunately, was the staff's permission to overcrowd the place. A laugh is fine, and a song is fine, but a two-hour queue (in my experience that day) of such a racket is definitely not the case. Otherwise, everything was great.

16/11/2025: We went to this restaurant with friends for a birthday dinner. The service was warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere was elegant and refined. The seafood was fresh and the food was delicious; highly recommended.

15/11/2025: From the moment I saw the beautifully presented amuse-bouche, it was clear that the cooking here was done with passion. You could taste that the person cooking here truly understands their craft. A meal that not only fills you up, but makes you happy. I will definitely be back – and I recommend it to anyone who appreciates genuine quality.

04/10/2025: The food was very, very tasty. Only one negative point: the potatoes in the schnitzel were a bit too chewy. Otherwise, everything was delicious, and the espresso was also excellent. Perhaps the price of beer, at €7 for a 0.5 liter, is too high for Italy.

26/09/2025: Family-run hotel in a quiet area and excellent location! Excellent cleanliness, very friendly and helpful staff, and a very good restaurant with its half-board options! Recommended.

Furthermore, the ambiance, with a terrace and sea views, creates an ideal atmosphere for a relaxed dinner; at sunset, the golden light and sea breeze add a lot. In terms of value, many people think the restaurant is a bit more expensive than what you might pay at more basic local trattorias, but the experience justifies it. If you're looking for great food, thoughtful presentation, and a special evening with a view and atmosphere, StraVento is a great choice. Highly recommended if you're in Trapani or along the coastal area.

09/12/2025: A lunch stop on the road was satisfactory, I'd say. Even the house red (a quarter of it included in the set menu is better than many other bulk wines you can find).

19/11/2025: The quality of the pizzas is excellent. The dough is very easy to digest, and the ingredients are carefully selected and high-quality. The pizza sauce is so good it deserves to be eaten on its own, but it really shines on these leavened pizzas. The professionalism, courtesy, and friendliness of the owner and staff perfectly complement the recipe, in a welcoming and clean environment. I recommend it whether you're looking for a quick slice, takeout to eat at home, or a dinner on the premises.
