12/05/2026: This is dinner from a tour at a pizzeria adjacent to the Holiday Inn Naples where we stayed. The meal consisted of a salad, two types of Neapolitan pizza, and baba for dessert. The salad was colorful and plentiful, served with olive oil and salt. The pizzas were a Margherita and a bianco-style pizza with pancetta, eggplant, tomato, and basil. Baba is a traditional Neapolitan dessert, a brioche dough soaked in a sweet rum-infused syrup—apparently a dessert for adults, but it was quite sweet. It was served with whipped cream. The music, the steampunk setting, the reinterpretation of the rules of the stars, all contribute to the uniqueness of an incredible experience, combining unimaginable culinary excellence and the highly professional staff with guaranteed fun.

14/04/2026: I didn't experience the venue as a guest, but I did go there as a set-up engineer: all the workers were incredibly kind, even willing to offer water to drink—guess what? Totally selfless... Absurd! To find such good people in this company 😊 The serene atmosphere, influenced by the presence of classical music during the set-up and Elvis Presley during the dismantling. I can't wait to have the opportunity to try you out and test the skills of your Michelin-starred chef.

22/05/2026: Great food. Loved the tuna trilogy and shrimp pasta. The calamari is not among the best though. It has a nice setting but some tables have quite limited sitting.

20/05/2026: It is a bit unusual that the reception is on the second floor, but overall the service is excellent. It is very pleasant to be served a glass of Presecco as a welcome drink when you are seated. The food is also quite tasty. However, the diffuser scent inside is a bit strong.

17/05/2026: We recently had dinner at La Cantina Clandestina and overall it was a really memorable experience. The atmosphere was one of the highlights of the evening — warm, lively, and cozy without feeling crowded. It has that authentic Genovese charm that makes you want to stay for hours enjoying good food and wine with friends. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout the meal, always happy to offer recommendations and make sure everything was going well without being intrusive. The food was excellent from start to finish, especially the seafood dishes, which tasted incredibly fresh and well prepared. The wine selection also deserves special mention, with plenty of great options that paired perfectly with the meal. The only downside during the evening was the noticeable number of fruit flies around the table, which became a bit distracting at times while eating. It didn’t ruin the experience, but it was definitely something we noticed throughout dinner. Hopefully it’s an issue the restaurant can improve, because aside from that small inconvenience, everything else was fantastic. Overall, I’d still happily recommend La Cantina Clandestina to anyone looking for excellent seafood, and a welcoming atmosphere in Genova.
