The buttero's tavern is a true institution for those who frequent the areas between Umbria and Lazio. An iconic place, where meat reigns supreme, it's well-known even among celebrities, and it's easy to bump into VIPs. I recommend anything meat-based, even the simplest sausage dish with baked potatoes served slightly charred, which are delicious!

A restaurant with decades of experience. Very easy to reach from the highway. A haven for fine Tuscan meat, extra virgin olive oil, and more. Worth the detour.

Recommended by a friend, right across from the Fabro highway exit. Plenty of parking, even for electric cars (Tesla charging stations). Gorgeous location. Friendly and welcoming staff. The meat was definitely the highlight. We ordered sliced ​​steak and fillet, cooked perfectly as requested (rare), flavorful and tender. The roast potatoes were delicious. The walnut ice cream was truly delicious (served in a walnut shell). The price, I'd say, was in line with the food. They welcomed us even though it was close to closing time. We were truly satisfied.

24/06/2026: On a summer evening, inspired by the beautiful weather, we went to this restaurant where we were immediately greeted warmly by the young lady at the counter. The menu offers a variety of dishes that are quite generous, but with very interesting pairings. We opted for a ham and cheese platter and a sandwich and were satisfied. The place is unpretentious; the interior is very rustic and more characteristic, with wooden tables and chairs, while the outdoor terrace is a bit colder, with plastic chairs. When we arrived, there were no other customers in the restaurant, so the service was very quick. The staff was very kind and genuine. The platter was quite good, though not extraordinary, while the sandwich was very tasty, despite the meat being almost raw (we didn't mention this, but we're sure they would have had no problem remaking it for us). Prices are average. We'd definitely love to return!
07/05/2026: Came here based on the google reviews / photos and I’m happy to report it lives up to the hype!! The filet steak was my favorite dish. Highly recommend!
