07/08/2025: Mi encantador y yo disfrutamos del almuerzo aquí con la familia y amigos en 2005 y tuvimos una experiencia maravillosa. IT fue con cierta inquietud que devolvimos una partitura más tarde, ya que NO teníamos ningún deseo de disminuir la memoria. IT trae una gran alegría informar que Le Grotte del Funaro no ha perdido nada de su magia. Habíamos enviado un correo electrónico por adelantado para reservar una mesa y estábamos encantados de estar sentados junto a la ventana. Una vista de las ondulantes colinas de Umbría es un glorioso anexo a los procedimientos. Empezamos con la deliciosa panzanella fresca antes de pasar a la lubina y el cochinillo con patatas asadas. Ambos fueron un testimonio de la facilidad con la que las ciudades Italianas superiores de las colinas producen increíble plato tras plato increíble. Lavada con una botella local de Orvieto rossi esta fue otra comida para recordar. ¡Volveremos en 2045!

30/07/2025: We stopped by chance to get a porchetta sandwich (my kids had never had it). Simply put, it was one of the best porchettas we've ever had. The portion size was good (I was just hoping for a bigger sandwich, it was so good).

03/07/2025: I was a guest at a ceremony in this venue and was literally enchanted by it. From the moment I arrived, the exterior was spacious and meticulously cared for, with an outdoor pool that added a scenic and refined touch to the environment. Upon entering, the interior confirmed the initial impression: several rooms, all impeccably tidy and furnished with an elegance that combines simplicity and style. The atmosphere is one of calm refinement, perfect for celebrating important moments. The real star of the day was undoubtedly the fish-based menu, exceptional in every way. The freshness of the catch was evident and the kitchen demonstrated an extraordinary ability to enhance its flavors with simplicity and authenticity. Each course was a pleasure for the palate: from the three appetizers that opened the dance, to the first courses rich in flavor, up to the fried shrimp and squid, light, crunchy and a real delight. The culinary experience ended beautifully with a magnificent cake, not only for its aesthetic presentation, but above all for the filling that won everyone over: pistachio, coconut and white chocolate. A perfect ending to a memorable lunch. Despite the presence of six other confirmations at the same time in the restaurant, the service was impeccable. The staff, always available and attentive, professionally managed our long table, ensuring that the banquet took place in the appropriate times. Special praise goes to the care and kindness of the owners, who also did their utmost to arrange the confetti corner with the wedding favors and flowers provided by the customer, demonstrating a dedication and passion that make the difference. In short, this restaurant is synonymous with excellence. A place where attention to detail, the quality of the food and impeccable service come together to create a truly unforgettable experience. Absolutely recommended for ceremonies and special events!

09/05/2025: Very welcoming place, and thanks to the weather, we were also able to take advantage of the outside which is very nice and pleasant. The service and food are also noteworthy, I highly recommend it.

15/06/2025: I'm sorry I can only give 5 stars! We came to Amelia because we like to visit small towns... we thought it would be cooler than Rome but it seems warmer... anyway at the Locanda del Conte you are nice and cool! We found a fairytale setting, romantic, with attention to detail and beautiful music in the background! Prepared and kind waiters and excellent, beautiful and tasty dishes! Everything is superlative and we will definitely be back!!! Congratulations

13/06/2025: Truly splendid. Impeccable welcome, characterized by a trait that knows how to pleasantly combine sobriety and cordiality (almost an oxymoron that few can do: non omnibus datum). Elegant environment, superlative food: not a flavor that did not combine exquisite taste with some peculiar refinement of its own. Mixed bruschetta, pistachio ravioli, lemon sorbet, surprising to say the least. I will not repeat the trite phrase: we will definitely return because it is simply obvious.

16/08/2025: Excellent value for money. Delicious food, generous portions, very friendly staff, and reasonable prices. We had our German Shepherd with us, and he was made very welcome.

13/08/2025: A very welcoming place, the people who run it are extremely kind and make guests feel at home. The food is excellent; the house antipasto is delicious, as are the risotto and ciriole. The berry cheesecake is superb. The prices are more than fair. Congratulations.

12/07/2025: A traditional osteria in the heart of Orvieto, in a highly touristy area, perfect for a lunch break between sightseeing. The restaurant has a rustic and friendly atmosphere, with outdoor seating and original details like the wall drawings and the slogan "If you have to dream, exaggerate," which add a touch of personality. I tried the umbrichelli with truffle: simple but delicious, with generous truffle shavings that give the dish an intense aroma and flavor. The portions were generous and beautifully served. The menu is extensive and well-curated, featuring many traditional Umbrian dishes, meats, side dishes, and homemade desserts. Prices are average for a tourist spot, but justified by the quality and central location. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is relaxed. An excellent choice for those who want to sample local cuisine in a lively and characteristic setting.

09/07/2025: A must-try. This restaurant has been open for about 70 years and has been run by the same family for generations. The hospitality is top-notch, and the food is superbly prepared. When the lady saw we'd really enjoyed the crostini with pâté, she spontaneously brought us another portion. I call this a little treat. I personally had the Italian-style appetizer, made with delicious local ingredients, but the incredibly delicious pappardelle with hare was a cut above, and then the guinea fowl with its cooking juices you could dip your face in. Superb! To top it all off, the homemade desserts were accompanied by coffee and grappa, which she left with the entire bottle. But the incredible thing is the prices. We're talking first courses between €6 and €9 with truly sizable portions, and second courses between €9 and €15—basically, prices stuck in the '80s, with truly high-quality food, believe me. So if you're passing through Narni, pop into Trattoria Tiberina in Taizzano and you won't regret it.

29/07/2025: Incredible food. It’s rare to get so many dishes that are all that perfect. I loved the prawn ceviche, gazpacho, pigeon dish, lamb dish and the peach + plum dessert. Highly recommend all of those.

28/07/2025: Overall, a positive experience. The quality of the food is unquestionable: excellent ingredients and meticulous preparation. The service is attentive, professional, but never intrusive. If I really had to find a criticism, I found the atmosphere a bit too sparse: one of those places where you almost feel compelled to speak in a low voice. Beautiful, but perhaps too serious for those who enjoy a more lighthearted and convivial dinner.

27/04/2025: Siamo andati su consiglio di un amico e devo dire che è stata una splendida sorpresa...location ben curata e molto carina...servizio ottimo accogliente e professionale...abbiamo assaggiato le bruschette miste e un primo. Le bruschette miste spaziavano con l inventiva...gorgonzola e noci , lardo di patanegra, robiola acciughe e cipolle caramellate...una coccola per il palato ! Per quanto riguarda il primo GNOCCO CON CREMA DI PARMIGIANO GORGONZOLA PORCINI E SPECK CROCCANTE bhe ....i miei più sinceri complimenti allo CHEF che è riuscita a bilanciare al meglio tutti i gusti creando una DELIZIA PER IL PALATO...non mancheremo di tornarci presto per gustare altre prelibatezze... complimenti a tutti voi!

25/08/2025: We were here a week ago, nothing to complain about the food, really good, they also do gluten-free, but the waiting times for two first courses, and finally for two coffees, when we were basically the only ones there seemed a bit long!
