15/05/2025: We find ourselves staying in Amelia sleeping in the historic center. Deciding to leave the car where we miraculously found a place in the center on foot, one of the options is to go to dinner at this restaurant. We are welcomed by an elegant, polite and original gentleman who we immediately renamed among ourselves as "The Count", who welcomes us and leads us to our table. We have a few questions about the dishes offered to which he answers excellently, dispelling our doubts. The bruschetta is good and my companions say their first courses are excellent. I order the wild boar which I must say is among the best I have ever tasted. The desserts are good but not exceptional, but we are struck by the quantity of pastiera served to one of our boys which alone would have been dinner. The only criticism I can make, the waiting staff is young and kind but "The Count" has 3 more gears! 😉

14/05/2025: We happened upon it by chance, returning from Rome, we were satisfied, a very warm and welcoming place in a very pretty village, the quality/price ratio is fair.

22/04/2025: Wonderful experience! We stayed at the Gabelletta during the Easter holidays. Beautiful apartment, large, clean and equipped with all comforts. Staff always friendly and available to satisfy our requests. Excellent Easter fixed menu restaurant. There were 4 of us staying and our 2 dogs. Surrounded by greenery, 5 minutes by car from Amelia and 15 km from the wonderful Narni. We felt at home. We will return soon and thank you very much for your hospitality.

21/04/2025: Un bel ristorante, con una interessante lista dei vini e un bel menu. Il servizio e’ un po troppo basico rispetto all’ambiente e al menu.. Un esempio del servizio non all’altezza del resto e’ stato sicuramente quello di servire sempre l’unica donna presente al tavolo non per prima.. ne con il vino ne con il cibo.. Ad ogni modo posto molto bello e cibo molto buono

25/05/2025: Last night we arrived at Grano e sale without booking at 9:30 pm and they immediately found a table for 4 people even though they were full! We also expressed that we had little time to eat and they were very quick and very kind. Thanks Martina and thanks Beatrice (Bea). Very good pizza excellent service

17/05/2025: Very good food, except for the pizzas... really not worthy of Italian culinary culture. The classic Roman pizzas with a heavy dough. Excellent appetizer, recommended. Very poor service, we went on a Saturday for dinner but really, it took us 3 hours to eat, an unworthy thing to take an entire Saturday evening just to have dinner. Too crowded and hot environment, we were in a hall inside and I tell you that even the waiters had difficulty moving between the tables. Very clean bathrooms. Overall negative experience.

08/05/2025: Unfortunately tonight the New York bar has fallen to the ground. Two of us arrive for the aperitif, the waitress without bringing the menus, after a verbal consultation asks us if the 8 euro platter is ok. Ok, sold. Given that in whichever place I went the price of the platter includes a drink, that being said, frankly you show up with a Campari spritz where you couldn't put more ice because the glass wouldn't fit it, platter with: two triangles of sandwich of the same type, two pieces of pizza always from the counter in surplus. .. two slices of ham and a bruschettina with inedible truffle sauce. Some fried food and that's it. Now, I'm not arguing about the quantity, the fact is that you charge 8 euros for something that is usually on the balcony to accompany the aperitif. Totally free, in fact I was convinced that 8 euros was the price including the drink, but instead I discovered at the checkout that we were spending a whopping 30 euros (there was also a small cone). Empty place, and I take the liberty of pointing out to the owner's daughter that in short.... We're not quite there. I won't give you the answer and I can't even say that I won't go back again because the ice cream makes you high. However, apart from the ice cream, I would say that if you call that an aperitif, that explains why this evening it was just my wife and I in the room.

26/05/2025: The service was impeccable. The guy was very polite and helpful. The beer was very cold. I had pork loin in sauce and artichokes. The food was ok. Nothing special. I still think the prices in Italy are high. But that's not just the restaurant, it's the general situation.

01/05/2025: So: an oasis in the desert! I know this bar in Castelgiorgio, which is a small village. I know it because it's on my street and I don't frequent it, but it has nothing to do with village bars, and it's well stocked, they're friendly, in short it's a bar that could be in a main street of a provincial city, even and why not the capital.

24/05/2025: We were traveling with our dog and stopped for a quick dinner. It has parking in front so it's quite convenient, the place itself is nice, the menu is a bit hard to understand and the guys are young and kind.

04/05/2025: Nice restaurant, relaxed atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. The tartare served on the hot shin is excellent and unique. The pappardelle with wild boar was good, too bad there was 50g missing on the plate, the tagliolini was bad, which instead of being with truffles was with truffle sauce, the baba with Chantilly and pistachio was good and bad for the 6 euros spent for two scant bites of the puff pastry (food cost 0.30 cents.. come on!!). We can do better and even a little would be enough.

03/05/2025: We had lunch with the family in this restaurant during a tour of the Marmore waterfalls. The restaurant is on the main road but the rooms overlook a beautiful, well-kept outdoor garden. We ate very well. The first ones are excellent. Familiar and well-kept environment.
