The atmosphere is welcoming and spacious, like a true osteria.
The waiters are super kind and helpful. The service is fast and knowledgeable. We had pasta with artichokes and gnocchi, followed by meatballs in tomato sauce. Everything was delicious, and the portions were generous. Perhaps a little too peppery, but the dishes were truly quality. The quality/price ratio was average.
We really enjoyed our meal, and we'll be back.
I went to Otricoli today, a gray Saturday in March, to see the ruins of the ancient Roman city. Having had the opportunity to pass through this medieval village, I was struck by the entrance to the restaurant, which was closed at the time.
When they found it open, my wife and daughter entered without a reservation. The setting was charming, with a fireplace in the middle of the room, open on both sides. It warmed us while we ate. The menu was very interesting and different from the usual. Everything was excellent, from the gnocchi to the Roman-style artichokes. The mothers were in the kitchen, serving their children. In short, truly family-style cuisine and hospitality.
Having read that the building was built on a Roman cistern, we asked to see it. And we were greeted with attentiveness and satisfaction by one of the daughters.
In short, 5 stars and more. We'll be back.

Excellent food, perfect service, a great atmosphere, and a wonderful surprise: ancient Roman caves in the basement and a delightful patio. Large frescoed rooms and an internal courtyard reminiscent of a medieval Italian patio. Beautiful location, we often return for lunch or dinner. The dishes are delicious. Very clean. Large spaces, suitable for groups, or a romantic balcony for couples. Must try.

To visit a dear friend, my partner and I went to Otricoli and had lunch at this trattoria.
It's a 16th-century building beneath which lies a very evocative pre-Roman cave. The staff is very kind and welcoming, and the menu is a mix of tradition and experimentation, featuring local products and a focus on vegetarians.
As for the food, everything was exceptional, from appetizers to desserts. I had the memorable stuffed agnolotti, with a unique flavor that won me over. I would personally recommend this dish to anyone who wants to try this place. My partner, however, highly recommends the chickpea and spinach croquettes, with their homemade mayonnaise. For dessert, Giorgia's tiramisu is truly unforgettable.
If you're passing through, this trattoria is a must-try.

Great experience, wonderful place.
The prices aren't exactly competitive, but honestly, the quality is there.
I ordered a platter of cold fried foods, as well as the vegetables I was hoping would be hot.
Excellent cheeses and cured meats.
Recommended!

Warm atmosphere, amazing ambiance, everything very woody and splendid.
I can say that the staff was truly welcoming and attentive, even to me, who asked for vegan options, having this type of diet.
An openness and infinite sweetness.
The house wine was amazing.
