04/11/2024: Stuck on the motorway since 4.30pm, I decide to go out to "gain" time and then have dinner. I book with the well-known app (I refrain from saying what I think) and head to the "chosen" restaurant. Outside the door I am amazed to find the restaurant closed (luckily for me) and with the good, dear, old habit I ask a native where I can have dinner. Fortunately, I am directed to this place. Already at the reception the harmony is struck. Good and very polite guys, they make us feel like family. For dinner we had clear ideas and so we didn't delve into the menu, but I saw some first courses that if they were half as good as they looked, that was already enough. However we consumed a house appetizer with good cured meats as well as cheeses. The "focaccia" to accompany it all (perhaps without yeast) was particular but it was so good that I won't tell you. Followed by just 1 kg of "local" fat from a good person, but a good one that I won't tell you about. Two desserts made by them and 1 liter of house wine (from a nearby winery) which is a full 8 for the price/quality ratio. The nice thing was the chat while I waited for the bill. The freshly cooked chestnuts offered and the tasting of the new oil on the bruschetta were very welcome. The price is more than honest. I will definitely return more than once.

29/11/2024: We had lunch on the way back from the falls. Absolutely cute place. The owner and his son were extremely friendly and nice. Very high level lunch with high quality products (cheeses and cured meats of their own production). We really enjoyed eating. I highly recommend it. Quality and price in line.

29/11/2024: Abbiamo pranzato di ritorno dalle cascate. Locale assolutamente carino. Il proprietario ed il figlio estremamente cordiali e simpatici. Pranzo di altissimo livello con prodotti di alta qualità (formaggi e a salumi di loro produzione). Abbiamo mangiato davvero con piacere. Lo consiglio vivamente. Qualità e prezzo in linea.

29/08/2024: If there were more stars I would add them endlessly. Enchanting❤️ relaxation and absolute peace. A wonderful tavern in the middle of the woods. The dishes are of a goodness and authenticity that cannot be explained. The owner is exquisite and sweet, and the staff are also top. Any adjective would be reductive. Immersed in peace with "everybody hurts" by REMS in the background. We will be back soon!! And you should too!!

10/08/2024: Abbiamo cenato in questo ristorante Giovedì 8 agosto. Antipasto in 2 , un piatto di brasato di cinghiale al vino rosso e bacche di ginepro e un piatto di piccione alla leccarda (pietanza orvietana cucinata seguendo la ricetta antica della tradizione). Per finire un cheesecake al melone e un tortino al triplo cioccolato e un amaro prodotto direttamente da loro, ottimi! Dall'antipasto al dolce tutto saporito, buono, il piccione poi è stato top!!! Locale accogliente e personale molto cordiale! Ci piacerebbe ritornarci presto ☺️

04/08/2024: Excellent food, we had umbrichelli with truffles, umbrichelli with Orvieto ragù and as a second course the pigeon with dripping pan, then their handmade ice cream, you could feel that it was also different from the ice cream parlors' ice cream. All very good. We will certainly return to try the other dishes on the menu, which is the result of a careful study by the owner of the traditional medieval and Renaissance recipes of Orvieto, the cooking methods and the herbs used. Chef Adler was very kind and explained the entire menu, medieval and Renaissance, to us.

12/10/2024: This summer in Umbria on holiday we found this restaurant and it was a very pleasant discovery, so much so that we returned twice. Few dishes but of great quality, excellent wine list, perfect service and very nice location. Highly recommended!!

11/08/2024: Wonderful experience. The restaurant is located first of all in a former sixteenth-century stately building, with a very fascinating history that we recommend you ask to be told on site; we had dinner in the internal courtyard, but the room with the large fireplace and the small, more romantic terrace are also splendid. The menu also caters for vegetarian needs, which is much appreciated. Everything we tasted was delicious, from the gnocchi to the Sagrantino, to the buffalo stew, to the dessert; the attention to the quality of the ingredients was evident in the goodness of some very simple dishes such as buffalo scamorza or garden tomatoes. The more than honest prices and the friendliness of all the staff complete a visit that we can't wait to repeat.

09/12/2024: They told us about a beautiful place but we didn't imagine it being so suggestive. Extremely refined and reserved coffee table for two. Thanks to all the small rooms set within the walls, where the tables are welcomed, you have the feeling of having the restaurant just for yourself. Obviously this wonderful location goes hand in hand with excellent cuisine, the dishes are impeccable and extremely well prepared, all accompanied by a very attentive and never intrusive service. Congratulations to the owner and all the staff. We will be back soon.

06/12/2024: A rustic and welcoming place, good and well-prepared dishes and above all (finally!) not too salty, which with the ingredients used is no small feat. The gnocco in particular is a delight, and the mocha at the table is a unique refinement. In my personal opinion, the pâté kills the guinea fowl a bit... it's still good. Very kind owner. Highly recommended.

04/12/2024: Cucina tipica locale,ambiente familiare e da trattoria d’altri tempi! Sembra quasi di tornare indietro nel tempo, a differenza della poca originalità dei ristoranti di adesso che sembrano da copia e incolla! Cibo molto buono, prezzo un po’ meno per quello che si è mangiato! Peccato! Il prezzo unica nota dolente!

30/11/2024: trattoria situata in una tranquilla via appartata in pieno centro storico di Orvieto. Tipica cucina umbra saporita. Tutto quello che abbiamo preso davvero ottimo e quantità giuste: da provare gli umbrichelli, pasta tipica del luogo Ottimo il vino che ci è stato consigliato. Abbiamo preso l'antipasto misto, umbrichelli all'arrabbiata e alla carbonara con tartufo. Consiglio

12/11/2024: A truly pleasant experience, we were able to share a starter, first course and second course as per our request, the service was impeccable and very professional, we really appreciated the information provided on all the courses, we ate outdoors but I must say that the internal environment it's really nice, we will definitely be back.

07/12/2024: Restaurant located in one of the squares of Orvieto, courteous staff, very nice place, good food but a point of merit goes to the vegetables, all strictly fresh taken from the market, which stand out from the usual frozen and chopped vegetables found in other restaurants.

27/08/2024: Locale nascosto ma dove vale la pena fermarsi. Rustico ma accogliente. Noi siamo stati con amici ed abbiamo assaggiato le prelibatezze umbre...tagliere tipico di salumi, molto vario e decisamente ottimo, tacos di animelle e faraona alla leccarda. Tutto di ottima qualità ed accompagnato da un servizio speciale. Torneremo sicuramente!

08/08/2024: Been just now. Excellent food, very good chef, excellent products, satisfactory service. The owner is a humble and exquisite person, very approachable and makes you feel almost at home. These guys really deserve to take off!! A hug and see you next time from the sorbet people! Kisses from Rome and good work!!!
