Dinner with family on the 15th. Beautiful location enhanced by the floor-to-ceiling view of the "Domus Romana". Excellent appetizers with refined and quality products (such as Spello rice, pata negra, artichokes, cheese and eggs), the first and second courses are also good and worthy of mention (potato and nettle gnocchi with lamb sauce, spaghetti, tomato, vanilla and anchovies , goat's milk risotto with asparagus and savory), good cellar. Discrete but present, professional staff. The only note that is not up to par with the place and what is expected to close an excellent dinner are the desserts which I didn't actually have to make Wow, without praise or infamy. We will definitely return and it is worth recommending as much as a starred one

The place is a compendium of the history of Italian art: inside you can admire the mosaic floors of a Roman domus from the 1st century BC. and the Renaissance rooms with frescoed ceilings. The culinary proposal is signed by the starred chef Andrea Impero for a truly unique experience.

The flavors are authentic and the raw materials of the highest quality. I had the opportunity to taste several dishes, all delicious and carefully prepared. The presentation of the dishes is impeccable and the attention to detail is noticeable. The professionalism in the service makes everything even more pleasant. If you want to enjoy a high-level culinary experience in a unique and evocative context, this is the right place. The price is adequate for the quality of the food and service.

A place steeped in history, with a glass floor overlooking the remains of buildings dating back to the first century BC. simple and functional furnishings in full respect of the place

Gustare i piatti prelibati e guardare le volte in mattoni, il pavimento in vetro che lascia vedere i resti di un’antica domus romana, le esposizioni dei reperti archeologici. È tutto un ondeggiare della vista tra queste meraviglie che lascia basiti mentre ci depongono le pietanze studiate ad arte, dando l’impressione di non voler lasciare nulla al caso, ma di voler confortare l’ospite nella precisione del servizio. E’ questo non può che essere all’altezza del locale, impeccabile, essenziale, ma non freddo come potrebbe pensarsi. Il nostro menù’ prevedeva un uovo confit con spuma di patate e tartufo, dal sapore delicato, bottoni cacio e pepe, molti particolari con il contenuto liquido all’interno, non certo di facile preparazione, e una sapida fracosta di vitello bianco. Abbiamo festeggiato il 70’ compleanno di una cara parente che ringraziamo per averci dedicato questa occasione, immaginando che la scelta del luogo abbia avuto il refrain di voler suggellare il massimo del suo affetto nei confronti degli invitati. Un posto meraviglioso, senz’altro vanto della ristorazione ad Assisi.

Tutto perfetto, se prendono le stella non ci sarebbe da meravigliarsi. Ottimo il cibo di cucina moderna creativa, lo chef ha davvero un'ottima mano, fanno il servizio di abbinamento dei calici di vino ai singoli piatti, il posto è splendido con il pavimento trasparente che permette di vedere i resti antichi sotto. Se siete in zona merita di andarci.

Un “Museo” all’interno del quale consumare pietanze di livello estremamente elevato. Classe e stile nel servizio, carta dei vini di qualità…menzione speciale per i prosciutti! Consigliatissimo

Mia moglie mi ha regalato per i miei 50 anni una cena in questo ristorante, ma anche museo archeologico, poiché si possono qammirare rovine romane dal pavimento in vetro, mosaici stupendi e mura ciclopiche. Il cibo? Semplicemente unico, abbiamo preso il menù degustazione di 5 portate ed è stata una escalation di sensazioni. Vini? No problem. Tra le oltre 1000 etichette la possibilità di trovare quella che vi soddisferà. Complimenti da Marco e Cinzia
